I get this error after clicking Go directly to shop or install sample data from the virtuemart component. The module is also installed
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in D:\Hosting\7116670\html\administrator\components\com_virtuemart\Tar.php on line 1443
Please help
Is this a live site? In my experience you are better off using the Joomla+Virtuemart package rather than trying an install on an existing Joomla site.

I got to work on a Typo3 page and I have to say I'm at the very beginning if it comes to TYPO3.
So I wanted to fix a bug and updated the plugin "fluidpages" from version 4.1.0 (I guess) to 4.3. That cause the "Oops, an error occurred!" in the backend and frontend, so I dont have access from that side. I still have the FTP login for the website. The version of TYPO3 is 8.7.18.
The errorcode I get is that one:
Could not analyse class:
"FluidTYPO3\Flux\Configuration\ConfigurationManager" maybe not loaded
or no autoloader?
Class FluidTYPO3\Flux\Configuration\ConfigurationManager does not exist
So does anyone know what I need to do?
From my research I think I need to update another plugins to make it back to work? And can I update them just by uploading them through FTP?
Thanks in advance!
Edit: After I tried to get the old version of the plugin running, I'm getting this error code from the log file:
Mon, 17 Feb 2020 22:59:56 +0100 [ALERT] request="fec23f8baf6dc" component="TYPO3.CMS.Frontend.ContentObject.Exception.ProductionExceptionHandler": Oops, an error occurred! Code: 2020021722595594039a4d - {"exception":"TYPO3\CMS\Extbase\Mvc\Exception: The default controller for extension \"Flux\" and plugin \"Page\" can not be determined. Please check for TYPO3\CMS\Extbase\Utility\ExtensionUtility::configurePlugin() in your ext_localconf.php.
You can enter the Install Tool via https://example.org/typo3/install.php and start with Check for broken extensions. If that doesn't yield the extension in question, you can always manually change the PackageStates.php file and remove the extension you want to unload. Afterwards you should flush all caches through the Install Tool.
In the long term you should consider a few things:
Use a local development environment which mirrors your production environment. You can safely perform all steps without any risk here before deploying.
Use a deployment strategy/tool which allows for rollbacks. This allows you to quickly revert to a working version of your instance in case all other checks have failed. A simple but flexible solution is Deployer, you'll need SSH for this though.
Have you tried dumping autoload from Install Tool? Generally, it would help for the class not loaded problem. Otherwise, you may want to check the log at typo3/temp/var/log/ and find the errors in code.
I already installed TYPO3 8.7.9, changed the language to german but can't download the language pack. It says:
Error
The request has failed.
Also if I change the dropdown in Extensions to Get Extensions it says:
Update Extension List
Could not access remote resource https://repositories.typo3.org/mirrors.xml.gz
I'm using MAMP on Windows 7. Also in the System environment check there are four orange issues which - I thought - already fixed in the php.ini:
Low PHP script execution time
PHP max_input_vars very low
Windows apache thread stack size
PHP extension fileinfo not loaded
Do you think it had something to do with "curl"? It often appears during my Google research.
I would be pleased if someone could help me :)
I can access this file via browser, so it's available. A missing curl could be the problem, you're right.

I just finished installing typo3 and want to proceed to get preconfigured distribution, but that error above appeared.
I'm completely new to typo3 and just want to compare typo3 with wordpress.
My setup is Windows 10, PHP 7.1.1, MariaDB 10.1.21.
What's wrong and how can I fix this?
The error message you reported is reported as well as possible TYPO3 bug at https://forge.typo3.org/issues/80762. Please continue at forge.typo3.org to get status updates about this issue.
The issue shows, that the list of mirrors cannot be retrieved from https://repositories.typo3.org/. This might happen, if your behind a firewall or the web-server is not configured to e.g. have allow_url_fopen enabled or curl module being installed for PHP.
The next maintenance release TYPO3 CMS 8.7.1 is planned for next Tuesday, April 18th 2017
Call to undefined function mb_convert_encoding(). How to install
mbstring extension installation on godaddy server?
I have found the solution. We need to complete the following steps:
1.Login to your server WHM as root
2.Search EasyApache or go to Software menu after that EasyApache
3. you can see there are some profile. click on customize profile default profile.
4. click on continue to second step
5. On “Step 2,” click on “Exhaustive Options”
6. Under PHP, check the checkbox for MBString
7. Proceed with Build & Compile Process
Make sure you wait for the build to complete.
I'm updating this thread as I went through a painful day trying to get this resolved. The mbstring extension is used by Magento (I needed it for 1.9) and without it installed, the checkout process will fail, with the shopping cart failing to take the user to the 'Thanks for your order screen' (although the order is sometimes created on the back-end successfully). It was also creating an issue when hitting the 'Send Email' button on the Admin panel on an Order, producing a 500 error.
In my log files, I was seeing the following error:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_convert_encoding() in
/home/yoursite/public_html/lib/Pelago/Emogrifier.php on line 556
Searching for this error gave results that suggested I needed to enable the mbstring extension on the server, but with a GoDaddy hosted virtual server, I ran into a wall of frustration with the package not being found via the php install search, and their tech support unable to assist. The above solution worked, although I will clarify the instructions below for the current WHM panel (Jan 2019):
Login to your server WHM as root.
Search EasyApache or go to the Software menu on the left and select 'EasyApache 4'.
You will see a list of profiles and at the top of the list, 'Currently Installed Packages'. Select the 'Customize' button.
Select the 'PHP Extensions' link or keep hitting 'Next' until you reach the page.
In the search box, type 'string', you will see 'php56-php-mbstring' and 'php70-php-mbstring'; move the grey slider on the right to install each.
Continue to the 'Review' tab. Here you can simply hit 'Provision' to install the extension. You can also save these options as a custom profile if you'd like.
After the build has completed, the extension should be available on all your domains.
Hopefully this will save someone some time trying to figure this out!
I installed LAMP on Ubuntu 12.0.4 LTE. Then I installed phpmyadmin. Everything was good. I used phpadmin to do lots of DB administration....
Then I installed Zend CE server. Now, phpmyadmin throws a blank page. No login screen.
So, I reinstalled my VPS in the same sequence again. No luck. Same behavior.
This time, I installed Apache, Mysql, PHP and Zend server in that order. Then I installed phpmyadmin....Unfortunately, still blank page on phpmyadmin.
Any help?...Thanks in advance.
First, for all those that posted their suggestions to my above issue, thanks!.
Of course, I had to dig deeper into forums and threads to find the specific root cause and solution for this issue.....and after spending few hours...finally, I resolved it!. Thanks to the following bug discussion link on php.net.
https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=25876
I tired many suggested fixes there but they didn't help. The suggestion that finally fixed the problem was pasted below ( so that let the credit go to the right owner):

If you are gettin the following error:
"Fatal error: session_start(): Failed to initialize storage module: files (path: ) in...."
Make sure that you have setup the session save path in your php.ini:
session.save_path = "/tmp"
which seems to be disabled by default.
I swear using Open Source software is tough!. I have spent whole day on this issue alone. My goal was to build some software and I have yet to get to it!!.
