In order to complete my Wordpress Plugin I want to make tinyMCE to switch between a custom Tag (Some|data|here) and a corresponding Image Display in the WYSIWYG-View.
The event should be triggered on load, safe, autosave, switch view etc. Threre are 4 different events defined, but none of them works as expected.
onBeforeSetContent
onGetContent
onPostProcess
onLoadContent
.
ed.onPostProcess.add(function(ed, o) {
if (o.set){
o.content = t._htmlToWysiwyg(o.content, url);
}
if (o.get){
o.content = t._wysiwygToHtml(o.content, t);
}
});
Anyon know the right way?
I do not know what you expect the 4 different events will do (?), but i can see some problems in your code.
1. The object o does not contain fields get and set - so o.get and o.set will never be true! Thus your code will never be called.
2. You are using the variable url, but this one is not defined here.
Working example: You may try to paste a string containing "a" into the editor. Use the following:
ed.onPostProcess.add(function(ed, o) {
//console.log('o:', o);
o.content = o.content.replace(/a/g, "A");
});
You should see that all lower 'a's get replaced by 'A's.

I am trying to learn reactive programming, so forgive me if I ask a silly question. I'm also open to advice on changing my design.
I am working in scala-swing to display the results of a simulator. With one setting, a chart is displayed as a histogram; with the other setting the chart is displayed as the cumulative sum. (I'm probably using the wrong word; in the first setting you might have bin1=2, bin2=5, bin3=3; in the second setting the first height is 2, the second is 2 + 5, the third is 2 + 5 + 3, etc.). The simulator can be slow, so I originally used a Future to compute it, and the set the data into the chart. I decided to try a reactive approach, so my requirements are: 1. I don't want to recreate the data when I change the display mode, and 2. I want to set the Observable once for the chart and have the chart listen to the same Observable permanently.
I got this to work when I started the chain with a PublishSubject and the Future set the data into the start of the chain. When the display mode changed, I created a new PublishSubject().map(newRenderingLogic).subscribe(theChartsObservable). I am now trying to do what looks like the "right way," but it's not working correctly. I've tried to simplify what I have done:
val textObservable: Subject[String] = PublishSubject()
textObservable.subscribe(text => {
println(s"Text: ${text}")
})
var textSubscription: Option[Subscription] = None
val start = Observable.from(Future {
"Base text"
}).cache
var i = 0
val button = new Button() {
text = "Click"
reactions += {
case event => {
i += 1
if (textSubscription.isDefined) {
textSubscription.get.unsubscribe()
}
textSubscription = Some(start.map(((j: Int) => { (base: String) => s"${base} ${j}" })(i)).subscribe(textObservable))
}
}
}
On start, an Observable is created and logic to print some text is added to it. Then, an Observable with the generated data is created and a cache is added so that the result is replayed if the next subscription comes in after its results are generated. Then, a button is created. Then on button clicks a middle observable is chained with unique logic (it's a function that creates a function to append the value of i into the string, run with the current value of i; I tried to make something that couldn't just be reused) that is supposed to change with each click. Then the first Observable is subscribed to it so that the results of the whole chain end up being printed.
In theory, the cache operation takes care of not regenerating the data, and this works once, but onComplete is called on textObservable and then it can't be used again. It works if I subscribe it like this:
textSubscription = Some(start.map(((j: Int) => { (base: String) => s"${base} ${j}" })(i)).subscribe(text => textObservable.onNext(text)))
because the call to onComplete is intercepted, but this looks wrong and I wanted to know if there was a more typical way to do this, or architect it. It makes me think that I don't understand how this is supposed to be done if there isn't an out-of-the-box operation to do this.
Thank you.
I'm not 100% sure if I got the essence of your question right, but: if you have an Observable that may complete and you want to turn it into an Observable that never completes, you can just concatenate it with Observable.never.
For example:
// will complete after emitting those three elements:
val completes = Observable.from(List(1, 2, 3))
// will emit those three elements, but will never complete:
val wontComplete = completes ++ Observable.never
I've read all the documentation I can find and watched all the videos I can find and don't understand how to do this. I have set up an xPages REST Service and it works well. Now I want to place the results of the service into either a combobox or typeahead text field. Ideally I would like to know how to do it for both types of fields.
I have an application which has a view containing a list of countries, another view containing a list of states, and another containing a list of cities. I would like the first field to only display the countries field from the list of data it returns in the XPages REST Service. Then, depending upon which country was selected, I would like the states for that country to be listed in another field for selection, etc.
I can see code for calling the REST Service results from a button, or from a dojo grid, but I cannot find how to call it to populate either of the types of fields identified above.
Where would I call the Service for the field? I had thought it would go in the Data area, but perhaps I've just not found the right syntax to use.
November 6, 2017:
I have been following your suggestion, but am still lost as can be. Here's what I currently have in my code:
x$( "#{id:ApplCountry}" ).select2({
placeholder: "select a country",
minimumInputLength: 2,
allowClear : true,
multiple: false,
ajax: {
dataType: 'text/plain',
url: "./Application.xsp/gridData",
quietMillis: 250,
data: function (params) {
return {
search:'[name=]*'+params.term+'*',
page: params.page
};
},
processResults: function (data, page) {
var data = $.map(data, function (obj) {
obj.id = obj.id || obj["#entityid"];
obj.text = obj.text || obj.name;
return obj;
});
},
return {results: data};
}
}
});
I'm using the dataType of 'text/plain' because that was what I understood I should use when gathering data from a domino application. I have tried changing this to json but it makes no difference.
I'm using processResults because I understand this is what should be used in version 4 of select2.
I don't understand the whole use of the hidden field, so I've stayed away from that.
No matter what I do, although my REST service works if I put it directly in the url, I cannot get any data to display in the field. All I want to display in the field is the country code of the document, which is in the field named "name" (not my choice, it's how it came before I imported the data from MySQL.
I have read documentation and watched videos, but still don't really understand how everything fits together. That was my problem with the REST service. If you use it in Dojo, you just put the name of the service in a field on the Dojo element and it's done, so I don't understand why all the additional coding for another type of domino element. Shouldn't it work the same way?
I should point out that at some points it does display the default message, so it does find the field. Just doesn't display the country selections.
I think the issue may be that you are not returning SelectItems to your select2, and that is what it is expecting. When I do something like you are trying, I actually use a bean to generate the selection choices. You may want to try that or I'm putting in the working part of my bean below.
The Utils.getItemValueAsString is a method I use to return either the string value of a field, or if it is not on the document/empty/null an empty string. I took out an if that doesn't relate to this, so there my be a mismatch, but I hope not.
You might be able to jump directly to populating the arrayList, but as I recall I needed to leverage the LinkedHashMap for something.
You should be able to do the same using SSJS, but since that renders to Java before executing, I find this more efficient.
For label/value pairs:
LinkedHashMap lhmap = new LinkedHashMap();
Document doc = null;
Document tmpDoc = null;
allObjects.addElement(doc);
if (dc.getCount() > 0) {
doc = dc.getFirstDocument();
while (doc != null) {
lhmap.put(Utils.getItemValueAsString(doc, LabelField, true), Utils.getItemValueAsString(doc, ValueField, true));
}
tmpDoc = dc.getNextDocument(doc);
doc.recycle();
doc = tmpDoc;
}
}
List<SelectItem> options = new ArrayList<SelectItem>();
Set set = lhmap.entrySet();
Iterator hsItr = set.iterator();
while (hsItr.hasNext()) {
Map.Entry me = (Map.Entry) hsItr.next();
// System.out.println("after: " + hStr);
SelectItem option = new SelectItem();
option.setLabel(me.getKey() + "");
option.setValue(me.getValue() + "");
options.add(option);
}
System.out.println("About to return from generating");
return options;
}
I ended up using straight up SSJS. Worked like a charm - very simple.
I wrote a function to update Validator rules on an input if a certain option was selected, using this method (the forms are built using FormGroup):
onValueChanged(data : any) {
let appVIP1 = this.vip1TabForm.get('option1');
let appVIP2 = this.vip2TabForm.get('option2');
let appVIP3 = this.vip3TabForm.get('option3');
//Set required validation if data is 'option3'
if(data != 'option3') {
//Due to initialization errors in UI, need to start with the case
//That there are validations, check to remove them
appVIP1.setValidators([]);
appVIP2.setValidators([]);
appVIP3.setValidators([]);
}
else {
appVIP1.setValidators([Validators.required]);
appVIP2.setValidators([Validators.required]);
appVIP3.setValidators([Validators.required]);
}
}
And I bind that function call to a click event on radio buttons (I initially used the guide from this answer, but the onChange function didn't bind correctly).
This works great, and if the user selects option 1 or 2, the validations are empty, and won't be triggered. If they select option 3, the validations are shown and submission is stopped. However, I run into the problem where the user submits, sees the error, and goes back to change to option 1 or 2. While the validator is cleared, my form still reads as invalid. I have multiple input fields I am validating, so I can't just set the form to valid if the validator is removed this way. How would I go about doing this? Can I remove the has-error for one particular field in the formgroup?
If the correct validators are in place, you can manually call AbstractControl#updateValueAndValidity after they select an option:
this.formBuilder.updateValueAndValidity();
(Where, of course, this.formBuilder is your FormBuilder instance.)
You can also call it on FormElements directly.
This is commonly used to trigger validation after a form element's value has been programmatically changed.
Instead of removing and adding validations. It is more simple to enable and disable fields. You need to add the Validators.required for all required fields. And disable the fields which are not required.
onValueChanged(data : any) {
let appVIP1 = this.vip1TabForm.get('option1');
let appVIP2 = this.vip2TabForm.get('option2');
let appVIP3 = this.vip3TabForm.get('option3');
if(data != 'option3') {
appVIP1.disable();
appVIP2.disable();
appVIP3.disable();
}
else {
appVIP1.enable();
appVIP2.enable();
appVIP3.enable();
}
}
The CQ.tagging.TagInputField provided two configuration parameter which won't work in combination:
tagsBasePath
namespaces
Using the OOTB facebook tags as example, I want to restric the dialog to only display the Favorite Teams. The Structure is this:
So I set tagBasePath to /etc/tags/facebook and namespaces to [favorite_teams]. This does what it is supposed to do and only shows the two teams in the dialog. But when you click on it, a JavaScript exceptions is thrown. The problem lies in the following method defined in /libs/cq/tagging/widgets/source/CQ.tagging.js
CQ.tagging.parseTag = function(tag, isPath) {
var tagInfo = {
namespace: null,
local: tag,
getTagID: function() {
return this.namespace + ":" + this.local;
}
};
// parse tag pattern: namespace:local
var colonPos = tag.indexOf(isPath ? '/' : ':');
if (colonPos > 0) {
// the first colon ":" delimits a namespace
// don't forget to trim the strings (in case of title paths)
tagInfo.namespace = tag.substring(0, colonPos).trim();
tagInfo.local = tag.substring(colonPos + 1).trim();
}
return tagInfo;
};
It does not respect the configurations set on the widget and returns a tagInfo where the namespace is null. I then overlayed the method in my authoring JavaScripts, but this is of course not working in the SiteAdmin as my custom JS are not included.
So, do I really have to overwrite the CQ.tagging.js below libs or can I somehow inject my overlay into the SiteAdmin so the PageProperties Dialog opened from there works as well?
UPDATE: I had a chat with Adobe support regarding this and it was pointed out that if you use tagsBasePath you need to place it somewhere else than below /etc/tags. But this won't work as well as the TagListServlet will return no tags as /etc/tags is also fixed in the TagManager as the tagsBasePath. I now overwrite the above mentioned js at its location, being well aware that I need to check it if we install a hotfix or an update. Is someone has a more elegant solution I'd be still thankful.
I have following code to find if row is selected, which is selected and which text is in row of GtkTreeView. Code is in key-release event handler.
char *ntext;
if (gtk_tree_selection_get_selected(treeselen, &modelen ,&iteren))
{
gtk_tree_model_get(modelen, &iteren, cEng, &ntext, -1);
... etc...
This works ok when my view is not empty. But when list is empty I get "segmentation fault".
I think that before this is needed to check if GtkTreeView is empty.
How to do that?
Actually, later I find if list is partially filled with clicking on unfilled area segfault happens too. So I need solution for that too.
From your description, it appears when you say GtkTreeView is empty you mean in model (GtkTreeModel which is implemented by GtkListStore or GtkTreeStore associated with your GtkTreeView) the data rows are added but are empty i.e. data is not set. In that case you need to check the value returned by gtk_tree_model_get (assuming cEng is valid otherwise you will get a warning message while running the program). Problem mostly is in ...etc.... Just add a NULL check to ntext before operating on it.
char *ntext;
if (gtk_tree_selection_get_selected(treeselen, &modelen ,&iteren))
{
gtk_tree_model_get(modelen, &iteren, cEng, &ntext, -1);
if( ntext == NULL )
{
printf("Data is NULL!\n");
/* Handle this case */
}
else
{
.... etc ....
}
}
This could also be the case in you button-press or release callback as well.
Hope this helps!
