I'm looking for drop down component that can show images and will hopefully work on most browsers.
There are several extension libraries for wicket, such as wicketstuff-dojo and wiquery. Do any of these have such a component and how well does it integrate into wicket?
As far as I know, there is no ready-to-use wicket extension that does exactly what you want.
I'd recommend using wiquery and writing a custom plugin based on something like Image Dropdown.

There is one ionic component IonSelectable for angular and this is exactly what I need in react typescript as well.

I've been using the Select2 library in my web application to replace the default select elements, and I really like how the library looks and how easy it is to use. Now, I'm trying to implement an autocomplete feature for a text field on the same application and I want to use a library that looks similar to Select2. (To keep the UI consistent.) Are there any such libraries that you know of? (Google isn't helping.)
select2 is also an autocomplete library and can replace both select elements and input elements.

I use it on a lot of my websites. Easy to implement and simple plug and play with jquery. They are skinnable and with themeroller you can easily mix and match the colors etc to easily implement it within your existing website theme.

The demo behind your link looks like a demo of the http://cutesoft.net/ WYSIWYG editor. (Found the link in the HTML source) You can always mail cutesoft and ask them if they build their editor on top of dojo...
As far as I know all the editor stuff in dojo is documented behind the links you already found and you can of course always write your own plugin.
Does anyone know of a good selectable grid for gwt google web toolkit? I need this functionality ported over for my application. Just for example I would like it work similar to pfselect for the jquery library.

It is on the way in GWT2.1. Currently milestone version is available. Probably you can give a try. I would suggest not to use smartgwt or ext-gwt. Because at initial page load it downloads lots of javascript.
