Prestashop - Header links - content-management-system

I have a Prestashop installation and am trying to add pages to it. I want the pages to show up with the HOME and CONTACT links and not in the information block. I take it I need to edit code, but where? Do I hard code the pages? Or can I create the page with the CMS in tools and just add a link in the headerlinks for that page?

AH, I found it. For any who may also be looking for this, you can edit this directly like this:
Find the 'modules/blockpermanantlinks/ directory and edit the blockpermanentlinks-header.tpl file. You will need to set up target pages manually too. I just pointed to information CMS pages I made earlier.

#Stefan, in PS 1.4, you need to let Smarty Force a Compile in order to see changes you make while testing or changing the elements/appearance of a page.
Go to Preferences > Performance, and change to Force Compile: Yes, w/ Cache: No, while you are testing changes. When you are done, change those two settings back to Force Compile: No and Cache: Yes.

change website from old.mysite.com to new.mysite.com typo3 webserver

First: i am kind of a beginner in web administration. Please be patient ;)
I got a cloned VM from a server with a typo3 website on. i want to make it a test server to test updates and stuff before trying it on the real site.
I want the typo3 website to use staging.mywebsite.com instead of its normal url, but i am not sure where i need to change stuff in order for typo3 to work correctly.
what i did so far:
renamed the folder under /var/www/old.mywebsite.com to staging.mywebsite.com
change entries in /etc/hosts
But i am quite sure i need to change some config files too. Typo3 Version is 9.5
I found this:
TYPO3 How to change the name of a TYPO3 website
But i think thats not what i need?
Thank you in advance.
The URL for the website is defined in the site configuration, see here.
You should modify the entry point as shown in the second image of the documentation (2) or just use the slash "/".
In your example you should use "https://staging.mywebsite.com/". Please keep in mind not forget the slash "/" after the domain.

Sulu: Is it possible to limit the available page templates per webspace?

I have a sulu 1.6 installation with multiple webspaces. I have multiple page template definitions in app/Resources/templates/pages, like default.xml, homepage.xml, blog.xml, center.xml.
Is it possible to make for example the center.xml only available for the content of one webspace and not all the others?
UPDATDE:
Where can I change this behaviour in the code, that per webspace only the ones are showing up, that are defined in the webspace.xml? This is really blocking and a super bad user experience, since the template is directly linked together with the configured webspace, but the others do not fit.
Thx a lot!
Andreas
The template is only shown in the dropdown if its .html.twig file exists. So if you use the SuluThemeBundle and only a specific theme implements its .html.twig file the template will not be shown on the other theme aslong as the .html.twig does not exists there.
This feature has not yet been implemented, because not too many people have asked for it...
Since Sulu 2.0 you can limit the template on the webspace using the exclude-templates inside your webspace configuration:
<excluded-templates>
<excluded-template>overview</excluded-template>
</excluded-templates>
Before the only way to limit page templates was to work with themes.

Looking for an Extension of an extensive link list

For the construction of an extensive list of links, since the source page is a thematic portal, I am looking for a suitable EXT., Which also runs under TYPO3 7.6 LTS.
it if the list of links to a permits the use of categories and multiple categorization of links is possible would be nice. should Weiterrhin the links are described not only the destination address and an alias but here should still an outline of the target page (possibly with photo) be possible.
Additional functions such as proposing links by users, reporting broken links or even a User Voting would nice additional features.
There were times the Modern Linklist, but they were no longer being developed for TYPO3 <6.x.
Is there perhaps somewhere an alternative or as one might like to vorhnandenen solutions might realize? It would be nice of course, without any programming knowledge, since I'm not a programmer.
P.S .: It is not about building a spam list but high quality links with topics relating to the original page.
As this seems to be a straight forward usage you could try to build that extension by yourself with the ExtensionBuilder.
just build up the records neccessary for your data. and let the EB generate all usefull actions: list & show, even create, edit, delete in FE would be possible.
Afterwards you just need to edit the generated fluid templates.
these links may help:
Overview
EB manual
small remark: if you want the newest code state, use the EB from git instead of TER
I`m not aware of an existing extension for it but it could be a good project to learn extbase / fluid.
You should also take a look at
typo3/sysext/fluid_styled_content/Resources/Private/Partials/Menu
and
typo3/sysext/fluid_styled_content/Classes/ViewHelpers/Menu
Fluid Content contains everything you need to create a list like that, you "just" have to combine the necessary bits and pieces.
You can do a lot with TYPO3 core functionality: there is a page type "external URL", pages can have categories by default, there are plenty of menu options (TypoScript HMENU, menu content elements, Fluid menu Viewhelpers). The Linkvalidator can periodically check all links and report broken links.
For suggestions you could add a form. Powermail for example can also store submitted info in database records, so your visitors could prepare page records (they are hidden until you make them visible).

How to add Typo3 Extensions to a page?

I googled for quite some time now and i cannot find a solution for such an easy beginner-problem.
I used the Typo3 Extension Builder to build a test-extension in Extbase. Now i want to use this and include it into one of my pages in the page tree structure to actually see if it works. When browsing the folder structure i can clearly see that the Domain model, the Controllers and all the views have properly been generated. But... How can i tell my page to include it and execute it?
I tried things like including the auto generated typescript into the templates of the pages but nothing works.
Thanks!
In Extension Builder make sure that you added "Frontend plugin" on the left pane. If you'll do it properly you will be able to add this plugin via CE "General Plugin" and then via field "Select plugin"
Sounds like you struggle on a more general level here.
In order to get the output of your Extension in the Frontend you have to assure the following steps:
Set up general Configuration, so that you can see the output of standard content elements in the frontend.
Install your extension and include its TypoScript.
Make sure you have a Plugin configured in your ext_localconf.php and registered in your ext_tables.php.
In the backend, create a new content element and choose "plugin" as its type.
Choose your registered plugin and save.
You should now see output of your extension in the frontend.

TYPO3 does not resolve url correctly

I'm pretty new to TYPO3 and currently stuck with the following issue:
I copied the templates from another webpage that is currently in business.
When I'm on the startpage of my homepage (www.domain.com) and click on one of the links it contains I always get an error 404. The link that is generated looks like this.
http://www.domain.com/testpage.440.0.html
So I guess something like RealUrl was in use on the webpage that I copied from? Do I understand this right? I don't see that RealUrl is installed though.
However If i manually change this link to
http://www.domain.com/?id=440.0.html
the site is being created.
How does Typo3 know to generate a page when it receives the first version of these two links?
Does not really look like a standard out-of-the-box REAL URL url. That would rather have been /testpage-404.html . So maybe the problem is somewhere else, could be:
simulate static (check if that extension is running). A common mistake is to run real url an simulate static at the same time. If you do not need speaking urls for the moment, just uninstall simulate static.
make sure you add a domain to your shortcut. Use the the list modul and select the root shortcut. Then click create new record, select domain. and enter your domain there. Flush all the caches and try again.
If you'd post your TS Code (of the root shortcut page) here, I could probably tell what's going wrong.
real url configuration typically use .htaccess files.. maybe that file still contains information from the original destination.
check if the root ts contains some baseUrl statement
Which version of TYPO3 are you using?
HTH, but feel free to post more infos.
If your typoscript template is expecting to find realurl and its not installed as a plugin, that could be the cause. You'll need to either install it, or find the settings in the TS template and remove them.
Try the template object browser to look for it (use the template tool, click to the site root, then use the drop down menu in the r/h pane to choose the Template Obect Browser.)
How does Typo3 know to generate a page when
it receives the first version of these two links?
Any page request that it doesn't understand will give a 404 error.
