Selenium 2.0b3, deal with tinymce in IE9 - tinymce

I'm using selenium 2.0b3 and ruby to test send email function with tinymce and this is my problem: I can't type text into tinymce text area. Here is my code:
select_frame("message_content_ifr")
focus("tinymce")
type("tinymce", "test")
select_frame("relative=parent")
It still works fine with firefox 3.6.8 but not with IE9. As I see, select_frame() and focus() work but can't type any text into the area.
Anybody knows the reason?

I have found a solution using rspec/selenium for IE8. select_frame/focus/type.... works in Firefox and Chrome, but would not work in IE.
This line is calling javascript:
page.get_eval("selenium.browserbot.getCurrentWindow().tinyMCE.activeEditor.setContent('Replace with your text')")

try to use something else xpath ,
Ex: type("name=tinymce", "test")

How to stop tinymce convert an image url into img?

The queston is in the tittle. When I paste an image url into the textarea tinymce converts it into the image, How to force it leave only link?
Testing this on TinyMCE 4, on the full featured example given in the TinyMCE documentation, this does not seem to happen... When I paste an image URL there, the URL keeps there, no image replaces it.
What version of TinyMCE do you have? Do you have any custom plugin? Maybe this is being triggered by custom code?
You have to delete the plugin "paste"

Has the iOS9 update caused C# codes not work properly?

I have a piece of code which is not working after the iOS9 update on devices, specifically Safari browser (Both iphone and ipad). It works fine in Chrome on the device using iOS9 but Safari is having sme kind of issue which I'm unable to debug. There was no issues in both the browsers on the device till iOS8.
Basically the functionality is a person needs to select 2 images from a set of images and click the GO button. If the images match with the ones saved at backend(DB) then he gets navigated to the next screen, else it shows a Cross symbol and refreshed the page asking the User to select the images again.

I put an alert within fnGetOutputFromServer but that never showed up in the device Safari browser. Please help me as I feel totally confused as to why it is not working. Also, I'm okay if I have to change the whole line to put a work around to this or by directly calling the function or something.
Note : This works fine in Chrome on an iOS9 device but does not work in Safari and the same works fine while emulating as iphone/ipad on the PC

I had to get the latest AppleWebkit version for iOS9 and got it updated in the configuration file which resolved the issue

html-engine-mini for Unity HtmlGUI.Label()

i'm trying to create a Html label using html-engine-mini for Unity
but the HtmlGUI.Label() seems not working well (it displays nothing)
here is the code i wrote:

Jquery img preload not working in FireFox

I recently did a small jQuery snippet that allows me to show a loading img until the real image is loaded.
The snippet seems to work in Safari, Chrome but not FireFox.
FireFox only displays a loading alt and never switches to the loaded image.
Here is the snippet
var loading = $('<img src="/media/ajax-loader.gif" alt="loading" />');
$('.thumbnail').each(function(){
var loadIMG = loading.clone();
$(this).after(loadIMG).load(function(){
$(this).fadeIn('fast');

Any ideas why?
You haven't said what exactly is happing on FF but below can be one of the problem. From jquery documentation
It is possible that the load event
will not be triggered if the image is
loaded from the browser cache. To
account for this possibility, we can
use a special load event that fires
immediately if the image is ready.
event.special.load is currently
available as a plugin.

Of course, the plug-in seems to be doing same thing along with handling some other scenarios as well as.

Set textbox focus in mobile safari

Hey, I was wondering how to set the focus to a text box in Mobile Safari.
I've tried document.myForm.myTextArea.focus() which works in regular Safari, but it does not seem to work in Mobile Safari.
To clarify, I want to set focus to a text box as soon as the user loads a page, and have the iPhone keyboard pop up.
Just found this previous post stating this is a bug in webkit. Sorry for not doing a more thorough search.

I found a bug report with the iUI project relating to this.
It seems that a focus() call will not work if called from the onload event or if called via a timer.

Update: Although I have no source for this, I am told (by people who have tried it) that in iPhone OS 4 the problem with focus() and onload should be fixed.
Nothing to do with the timer, focus() doesnt work at all... im doing mine through an AJAX function. i guess my web application will have to suffer in mobile safari.
