Is there a way to get a facebook app id and secret without verifying your account (for neither do I want to provide FB with credit card information nor do they list my mobile phone service provider for the country I live in) - or is there a way to run an FQL query on PHP without having and app id and secret?
For all I wanna do is to check whether the currently logged-in user likes my page.
Thanks in advance!

No you can't. You need a valid FB App ID and Secret.

The answer is still no. You need to be a verified user to create an application on facbook.

Just curious,
In case I want to make application using API for login(i.e Facebook of Google+)
What user's unique key do I stored in my database? Do my apps have same user's unique key as them(Facebook or google+), or they generate a new unique key for my user when sign in my apps? And what type of data is it?
Do I duplicate user's information into my database or keep accessing user's information from Facebook or Google+? Like do I have to create table for user's name, gender, birthday,etc and register user's information once user login to my apps or straight access it from Facebook or Google+ every time my apps needs it?
Is it really safe for user to using login with API? Can someone using API to get user's email and password, or make post in user's Facebook or Google+ that user don't want to post, or hijack user's account?
This might be common case, but I have no experience in using API so I have no idea about that.

When you use Google or Facbook signin you really only need to store the information that they return to you.

User Id is the users id from my user table. Where i store there user information my system needs ProviderKey is the users Id on the login providers system.

You can duplicate some of it when the user creates or links their account to your system but i wouldn't automatically update it without informing the user you are doing so. Some users dont realize how much information you have access to via linking to social media accounts.

I think you are confusing identity for Authentication. Using Oauth2 you request a user to grant you access to see there data though an api this is authorization. If you are using Google+ or facebook signin you are using an identity server and signing in as the user. You should be using signin if you want them to login to your system using their social media accounts. By singing in you are that user. No I dont think they can be hijacked using signin.
I'm getting the app scoped user id for my Facebook app using the graph api but I need the real user id to send notifications. Or is there a way to send notification using the app scoped user id?
Note: I've seen several similar questions asked but no answer has been given.
No you can not get the real user id. Yes, you can send notifications with the app-scoped id if your application is on the Facebook canvas. I do it in my apps.
I have a facebook app, with 35000 users. How can I get each age_range(it's basic permissions) not during authorization(after a while)? If I don't have access_tokens of users, but all users install and approve my app?
I try
http://graph.facebook.com/{USER-ID}/?access_token=***
but it does not show me age_range
The age_range field needs to be requested specifically:
http://graph.facebook.com/{USER-ID}?fields=id,age_range&access_token={user_access_token}
should work in your case.
If your app was made to run on Canvas or is a Page Tab app, you can get the range age even if the user hasn't authorized yet by reading the signed_request parameter.

A while back I created an app ID on facebook and added the appropriate meta data to a website. I now want to continue adding facebook-related features to the site, but it seems the app is not related to my account afterall.
I must have created it under a different account or something, but how can I find who the owner is based on an App ID? I have existing likes, so I don't really want to change the App ID. I don't see any way in the UI, and I do not see the app when I go to the Developer app. Is there a way to do it using the Graph API?
If you have access to the app id and the app secret but no access to the app within Facebook it is possible to discover the creator_uid and from there the email address of the app owner using the graph api.
First get an app access token:
https://graph.facebook.com/oauth/access_token?client_id={APP_ID}&client_secret={APP_SECRET}&grant_type=client_credentials
With this you can get the creator_uid:
https://graph.facebook.com/{APP_ID}?access_token={APP_ACCESS_TOKEN}&fields=creator_uid
Using the app token you will then get the email address when looking up the creator_uid in the graph api:
https://graph.facebook.com/{creator_uid}?access_token={APP_ACCESS_TOKEN}
EDIT (Jan 2013)
Looks like Facebook have removed app profile pages so that method no longer works.
Option 1
You could return the app object, which stores all the populated information about the app by requesting:
https://graph.facebook.com/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Option 2 (This method no longer works)
Or, you could visit the app's profile page and contact the developer directly using the 'contact developer' link:
http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
(you'll need to replace xxxxxxxxxxx with your app id)
I got this working. If you have both app id and app secret then you can try below steps to get the owner details.
Get the access token using id and secret of the facebook app.
https://graph.facebook.com/oauth/access_token?client_id={APP_ID}&client_secret={APP_SECRET}&grant_type=client_credentials
Using the access token you can call the below API to get a list of administrators of the app.
https://graph.facebook.com/{APP_ID}?fields=id,name,roles&access_token={ACCESS_TOKEN}
Retrieve the owner profile details by,
https://www.facebook.com/{USER_ID}
I have a similar problem, in that I have the id and the secret but no access to the app within facebook.
I haven't found a way to see who owns does have access to the app. But I have found a way to contact a dev
First get the app access token.
https://graph.facebook.com/oauth/access_token?client_id={APP_ID}&client_secret={APP_SECRET}&grant_type=client_credentials
Then get the address:
https://graph.facebook.com/{APP_ID}?access_token={APP_ACCESS_TOKEN}
Is there any way to get the Facebook User Id of visitors in my website by using the FB API, but without need to ask them to authenticate my Facebook app?
All I need is some facebook-related-identifier, it does not even have to be the User Id, but any kind of identifier that can relate the user to a facebook profile.
Ideas?
If the user does not explicitly authorize you to get some private data from his Facebook account (included his Facebook ID), you can not get them.
I cannot think of a way to get the Facebook ID without the authorization of the user.
Hope that helps.
