How to run BlackBerry application in Background - eclipse

I am working on a BlackBerry Application which requires the application be running once its sent to the background also.
I would really appreciate it if someone could guide me to any tutorials related to running background services in BlackBerry.

Background Application is a kind of process so you should extend Application instead of extending Uiapplication . In your main class implement all your code. You can also see this StackOverflow question for an example: Blackberry - Running Background Application

RIM has posted an article about running applications in background on their support forum:
Make a running UI application go to the background and resume in the foreground

You can use Alternate Entry Points to make your application run in the background. Check the link below for assistance

Flutter application restart instead of resuming after some time when switch to other applications

Hi i am developing a flutter application and i am using getx statemanagment. The problem is when i put application in background and use some other applications like whatsapp, youtube, play a game or listen music, after some time when i resume my application from recents it restarts and all progress is lost.
I have already tried different solutions like moveTaskToback(true) with native android function call
Please help, I have almost finished my important application.
I'm not sure on why this happens, but some manufacturers have their own restrictions on apps running in the background. Nothing you can really do from a flutter perspective, the app lifecycle is the same on all devices.
Here is a link where they share some tips how to deal with this on Xiaomi from the users perspective.

From the developers perspective, as you can read on the bottom of the article, the are no common workarounds known yet.

Flutter, Detecting that other apps are launched

I'm trying to develop an app that prevents a user from starting other application when my app is running. The scenario:
my app starts the timer
app detects launch of another app (could be anything other than my app)
if it detects, it cancels some achievements
Can anyone help? I saw some solutions on this topic, but could not find anything in Flutter.
Any ideas would help.
Thank you.
There is a few ways to do that but easy one to observe your app situation, you can use WidgetsBindingObserver to detect your app is background or not.
But if the case is not being background it is just depending to launch an app so there is a few ways which suggest in this answer you can try them.

Location Background Service

I want to make tracking run when the application exits or runs on the background service does the plugin already support?
I have read this tutorial and I am still confused whether there are examples of projects here or is there a plugin for this?

How to display a our popup before other installed application startup?

Currently, I am working on one security application. In this application, user can select applications for which he/she want to have additional security.
So, before this selected application start, one 'popup/screen with question' will be displayed. and if user answers it right, popup will be dismissed.
So my question is, is it possible to display our popup/screen before other installed application startup?
And if yes, then how to do it?
I searched on google, but didn't find any useful.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
in iOS, Application run in its own sandbox environment. You cannot control other application's startup and hence this is not feasible using any apple documented APIs.
this is not possible. In iOS, Application run in its own sandbox environment so you cannot get any application information. this is only done in jailbreak programming. In witch you hook app startup method method and show your popup first.

Calling another program

I'm working on monotouch framework, I'm writing an application for iPhone device, I want to call another program running on the iPhone from my own code...
Anyone can help me with this, usually in C# we just create a process for that exe file.
Is there anyway to do that with monotouch?????

You could of course use URL Schemes, but those suck. I have a blog post on super-duper-easy-peasy local cross-application communication using background tasks in iOS.
It's basically the same way that PhoneGap and Appcelerator Titanium work to communicate back to native platform specific APIs:
Code: https://github.com/anujb/MultitaskingHttp
Blog Post: http://blog.devnos.com/remember-when-apps-didnt-talk-to-each-other
In Objective C code you can go with URL Schemes, using that you can launch another application from your application.
The short answer is that this can only be done of a URL scheme catches it. The long answer has, well---already been answered :)
