How can I fix directory detection in GWT's nocache.js? - gwt

My GWT/forplay project has stopped working. The project/project.nocache.js file makes the browser request md5hash.cache.html, rather than project/md5hash.cache.html. (It tries to load from one directory too high.) This results in a 404, of course. I have seen this across browsers, and even across servers.
Can anybody with nocache.js knowledge take a guess at why it now fails to point the browser to the right place for the cache.html file?
Thank you!

How to deploy using Hostinger?

I got an assignment to create a simple app and to deploy it in a website.
During development I was using xampp and never had an issue.
I do not know how to format folder directories but here I go. I have index and libs (folder) at same hierarchy, inside libs I have 3 folders, for css, js and php.
One file inside css, jQuery and scripts inside js and 3 files calling different apis inside php.
My first time hosting a website so I youtubed how to do it. however, I cannot get it to work properly.
I get the following error:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()
and it points to my jQuery and js file.
I have tried every "solution" available but nothing has been improved.
If anyone knows what is causing this can you please let me know or point towards some documentation so that I can fix it.
Thank you
I have found the issue.
The folder inside were in upper case and it causes an issue because the path was case sensitive.
By changing the path to JS instead of js and PHP opose to php, it was able to find the file

How to find out the source of a request (in chrome dev tools)?

I have a weird network request in my page, which refers to JavaScript files, which I removed from every html file earlier. Cache is cleared and there is no single reference to be found in the source html and the JavaScript files. For fixing that and also out of general curiosity I would like to know if there is a simple way to find out where a request was triggered, preferably using the chrome-devtools.
Update:
Thanks to jaredwilli I found the initator column under the network-tab. However this only shows Other. What I would like to know, is the (html or javascript) file where those Requests have been triggered.
On the Network panel, you can determine what the initiator of a request was by viewing the Initiator column. It gives you the file, line number and type of resource it was, either Script or something else.

Which is the best method to get a local file URI and save it online?

I'm working on a web project but the scenario has some restrictions for a specific user case. We have been investigating a web-only solution and a dropbox-like native way to solve this.
The main restriction is that we shouldn't upload local files to a cloud. We can only track local URI's.
The use cases are:
As a developer, I should be able to link the URI of a local file to a webapp. Thus, I can click on a webapp element and the local file should be opened.
As a user, I should be able to add a directory and view the same structure on the webapp (clicking opens the file). The files are not uploaded.
Possible solutions:
We started trying the FileSystem API but when the specs. were fully defined, we figured out that a local sandbox was not enough, and we can't access to the local URI due to security issues.
We are considering a Dropbox-like native app. The Invision Sync App is closer to what we want.
The less optimal solution would be a complete native application.
The question:
Which is the more efficient way to achieve this? Any idea on some native libraries for doing this faster? Any web-only workaround?
Thanks in advance.

How to present static file results that are generated at different time to client in play 2?

I am writing a web service using play 2.0 in scala.
After getting client's configuration parameters, then the web service will take a while to generate some files. (Note: some files can be short, some other files can take long).
I figured out how to get client's configurations and trigger my computation,
now I need to present the generated files to client side at the end of the session.
So questions are:
How to present the files to client?
I'm thinking about returning a static folder link to client, so that they can go into the folder to
see further what files are there, and so when clicking on the files, the details of the files can be shown, either jpg or text.
But how?
How to not to block client during the generation of the files?
For example, client can still click on the files that are available at that moment.
Then here comes the third question:
How to let the client side know that the long-time computation file is available and listed in the folder?
I'm pretty new to web application, thanks for any suggestion, advice, or little examples are greatly appreciated too!
I would create a web interface to show the created files to your clients and create a background job to for the long computation process. You can create a wait page where a javascript check if the file is created.

problem with connection of facebook in my app for iPhone

I have complete code of facebook connection. But When i dragged the complete code into my application then 112 errors will occurs. wherever i have use use that code "FBConnect/FBConnectGlobal.h"Then error will arises "FBConnect/FBConnectionGlobal.h" No such file or directory. Even i have given all the path in project setting/project active setting.
So please tell me some solution how to rectify some solution. and also tell me exact place where i have set the path and what to give in that path
Thanks
I think Ayaz is right, you checked of the "copy items.." box. However, try and start over, deleting the FBConnect folder and do it without copying it. If you start changing the headers you will probably have to do it for all the classes and if there is an update to the FBConnect library you need to start all over again.
