Using the JRE 1.6 instead of the last one (1.7), you should solve this problem.

Issue uploading jar-files to Azure Web App

I've created a Web App with PostgreSQL and Tomcat 8.5 in Azure, and running java 8.
I'm using Eclipse, and have a local version of Tomcat. If I'm running the project locally, I'm able to contact the PostgreSQL. But when I push the project to Azure, I'm getting an error what it can't find the postgre driver.
Anyone have a step by step guide for uploading .jar-files to Azure web apps? I've tried with other projects that don't need postgres, but other .jar-files, and same problem.
you can try publish it using maven. Here are useful links:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/app-service/app-service-web-get-started-java
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/app-service/containers/quickstart-java
If the database is also on Azure, you'll need to enable trafic from azure to it: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/postgresql/concepts-firewall-rules

Deploy a Business Network Archive from online playground to IBM Cloud

Since I struggle to install the Hyperledger Fabric and Composer development environments locally on my Windows 10 machine I would like to know if it's possible to deploy a .bna file imported from the online Playground to the IBM Cloud or if I need the entire local installation.
I didn't find recent information about this but it appears that it was not possible on february 2017 but it may have changed.
If you have a IBM bluemix account, you can follow this instruction:
Deploying Hyperledger Composer Business Network to IBM Blockchain Platform Enterprise Plan on IBM Cloud. https://ibm-blockchain.github.io/platform-deployment/
a .bna file can only be deployed on a 'running' hyperledger-composer, may it be local or the online playground.
if you want to us it locally, here are the complete installation steps(with prerequisites).
after that, you can deploy your exported .bna file locally.
If you want to deploy it locally, then you have no option but to do all the above installations!
Hope this helps you!

Azure Deploy Web App Error with Eclipse

We've previously been able to deploy our Java web application through Eclipse to Azure with no issues, but recently today we kept receiving an error message that says
FTP client can't store the artifact, reply code: 550
Anybody know what Azure is trying to say here ? Why would it suddenly start giving a 550 error? Deploying to a different Azure web application works fine, just can't seem to deploy to the same one as before.
The 550 error code of FTP on IIS normally means deny access or no permission to do some operation. Please try these ways as below.
Restart your Azure WebApp on Azure portal.
Reconfigure the deployment credentials with new username and password on Azure portal.
Remote Administration of Windows Azure Websites using IIS Manager to check the configuration for FTP. For example, there is a similar thread from SuperUser https://superuser.com/questions/845357/iis-ftp-folder-access-issues-550 which you can refer to.
Hope it helps.
The issue can also be caused if there is no webapps folder. Assure that path exists:
/site/wwwroot/webapps/

Deploy asp.net web app on local or remote IIS using PowerShell DSC

I am unable to find any help on how to use PowerShell for DSC and deploy asp.net web app on local or remote on premises IIS.
Can you please help me with the steps or any resources?
What's your preferred method of deploying code prior to using DSC? xRobocopy was created with this scenario in mind, but if you are packaging your solution using NuGet, you could also use the PackageManagement resource.
I started working on a NuGet based config script recently but it isn't ready to publish in the gallery yet:

Cannot update repository Windows Azure

Connection timed out: connect
How to solve this, i very need it to deploy my first app on Windows Azure platform
Help me to solve this, please
Now i try to runnning azure project on Cloud Azure, but why when i try to upload cspkg file and cscfg file, the process always timeout, whereas connection is running normally when i look on ping -t
this is message when i try upload on azure hosting service :
Uploading the selected package has failed, please verify your network connection and try again.
How to solve this issue ?
it's very strange error. >-<
I think there is some problem with your network connection as I have just tested the same download location and it does work perfectly fine as below:
As you can see below I am using http://dl.windowsazure.com/eclipse URL to download the Java specific Azure components:
After that once I select "Next", the following two components are listed to be installed in my machine:
Microsoft JDBC Drive 3.0 for SQL Server (This will work with SQL Azure)
Windows Azure Plugin for Eclipse with Java
I am sure that the problem is specific to your network connection so please have it corrected.
Yes, it's foolish of me, i forget to shutting down my proxy server on My compute. After i disable it,everything gonna be alright :D
Thanks
surely I haven't meet this situation before , but just for your additional information..
Have you follow this step on installing azure #eclipse? like .net version must be >= 3.5
here are some source link for your help http://www.windowsazure4e.org/download/
I haven’t worked with Windows Azure Java SDK. But the error message is complaining the file C:\Users\workspace\AzureFirst\emulatorTools\ResetEmulator.cmd cannot be found. It would be better if you can check whether the file exists. In addition, the call stack points out you’re using Windows Azure SDK 1.4. Please try to upgrade it to 1.6 to see whether it works fine. You can find SDK 1.6 on http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=28045. Please install WindowsAzureEmulator and WindowsAzureSDK. The WindowsAzureLibsForNet is not needed if you don’t want to use .NET.
