When using the Facebook Registration social plugin, the user is presented with an undo dialog after pressing the "Register" button. I've observed several sites that also use the Registration plugin that do not display this dialog, i.e. Car and Driver and Friend.ly.
Has anyone encountered this, and found the right box to check to disable the undo dialog behavior?
When looking at the returned files from Facebook, this parameter in registration.html seems to control this behavior:
FB.Registration.mustConfirm = false
I've tried the XML and older APIs, and have observed the same results. I'm looking for an official/supported solution to this problem, ideally, and not a JavaScript hack.
This feature is not currently available to all developers. We may make it available more broadly, but right now it is limited to a few partners.

Is it possible to set starting options in facebook messenger for pages like example bellow:
example of expected result
I figured that similar could be achieved by using messenger BOT with 'start button', multiple BOT replies with 'quick reply' buttons and passing conversation to live chat in required cases.
The problem with this is that after user clicks 'get started' button BOT publish text replay 'Get started' which is not desired.
I wonder if there is an build-in setting to achieve this? If not, how would one solve it?
EDIT: It seems to me, it is not possible to build something like that neither with facebook quick reply neither with templates/buttons
EDIT 2: I also tried doing this in Facebook's page settings with no result. It seems it doesn't have anything to do with Facebook's 'quick replies'
First of all there is no way to set those options from facebook platform itself. Those questions are generated by facebook to give user a head start to a conversation and those are generated based on the type of page you are created. To see the option go to
Your Page's Settings-> Messaging -> General Settings
It is ideal that you will configure the 'Get Started' to initiate conversation with your bot and then show users a bunch of options using various templates like quick replies, carousel, list etc. By this way you have full control over your templates and expected answers.
But then again if you want to use those generated options from facebook then you can look for those option's text in the delivered json to your configured web hook. Here is a sample json:
{"object":"page","entry":[{"id":"","time":1519980744192,"messaging":[{"sender":{"id":""},"recipient":{"id":""},"timestamp":1519980743903,"message":{"mid":"","seq":1,"text":"Could you give me a call? I'd like to speak to someone."}}]}]}
Look at the 'text' attribute. The text is from after clicking one of those options. But again this is not ideal as the options can get changed anytime by facebook's algorithm.
My suggestion is to use 'Get Started' button and then send a list to the user.
The screenshot you posted shows a features that is currently being tested for Pages, so it is not available to every Page. There is no built-in way to do this, other than sending quick replies in response to the get started postback, messaging_optins or messaging_referrals events.
You can create a persistent menu to achieve this.

I have the same problem like asked here: Facebook messenger checkbox plugin is hidden
I tried the implementation of the Facebook Checkbox Plugin according to Facebooks documentation but it won't show on my VM in my Company.
The Facebook SDK Implementation works fine, I tried the "Share" and "Like"-Button, which show up correct.
I have a Facbook Page which has public access and a Messenger APP in DEV-mode. The "Send-API" from Facebook works correct too: I am able to send message to myself as administrator from my Webpage on my development VM.
Following Steps are done: use a random user_ref on every request, set my page on the whitelist, use "https", visit my page FB-loggedIN and FB-loggedOut
But the result ends in Markup and Log-Infos like this screen:
See FF DeveloperTools Markup Screenshot for current state
According to this I visited a page given as origin where the Plugin should work (see first link in my question) - but there the plugins' HTML is the same like mine.
So is there a general problem on Facebooks' site or is there quite more necessary, to get this plugin running? Could it be a problem with self-signed certificate on my VM?
At the moment I don't want to notify or login any user. All I want is that the checkbox is shown.
Pherhaps anyone has an idea or the same experiences :)
Additional Info: the console shows following message
fb:messenger_checkbox failed to resize in 45s
after some fiddling we found out that a registered webhook is required (even if you dont consume the events) to make the messenger checkbox plugin render properly.
Here in Germany privacy rules (Datenschutz) are really strict. Chances are high to get a cease and desist letter (Abmahnung) from a competitor when I put the regular facebook like button on my webpage. Since the facebook like button tracks the individual visitor, even when he doesn't use the Like Button.
"Two click solutions" got invented to overcome that situation.
However, they don't show the like count of the URL to be liked when disabled. (See screenshot: "21" only shows up in activated state) I know that it is possible to retrieve this like count through open graph api.
Is there already a solution that features a "two click like button" including count in disabled state? Maybe a wordpress plugin?
Following plugin does the job. However its still beta and it comes without any icons (because of trademark issues) So, only powerusers will recognize it as facebook like button.
http://www.selbstaendig-im-netz.de/2013/02/14/social-web/sin-socialshare-plugin-3-betaversion/ (only German, there is a download of the plugin zip file)
The plugin is not yet in wordpress org plugindirectory
On the facebook documentation page if you click the "Send" button in the default example, it pops open a new window that looks to be just the like/send button repeated.
I take it this is because it's broken in some way, either that or my browser (and that of my colleagues is severely broken)
Does anyone else suffer from the same fate? Does anyone have a fix?
Side note - on our website this was working fine yesterday, it appears to be a new issue.
There's a bug report about that: Send button opens new tab.
Also, looks like there are a few issues with the button as you can see in the bugs tagged with Send Button
I haven't voted you down (I rarely do), and I have no idea what were the reasons for that, but it is better to first research before asking a question here, as you can see it was easy to locate the bug(s) in the official facebook bugging report system, also if you search here you'll find more questions regarding this issue (and a few from today).
Yes, I have found that the code issued by Facebook for combination Send/Button is not working as of Sept. 27 2013. The Send button throws up a blank screen, instead of the Facebook email dialog box. This code from here https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/ did not work. Note this applies to JavaScript code, not old IFRAME code which is being deprecated.

Using the Facebook enhanced auth dialog, the dialog itself shows a blue button to confirm the app at the user side. The text of this button could be:
Add to Facebook
Log in with Facebook
Go to App
Play Game
Is there any way to choose the displayed? For example I would like to use Log in with, but I always get Go to App.
Yes, you have to configure your application correctly per the blog article you got that info from ;)
http://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/2012/03/02/enhanced-auth-dialog-and-updates-to-permissions/
New button text
In the enhanced auth dialog, the button text will be one of four
cases: "Add to Facebook", "Log in with Facebook", “Go to App”, or
"Play Game". Each of these were extensively tested and showed that
more specific calls to action help users better understand the auth
process. As the first point of contact for an app, it’s important for
the auth dialog to exhibit a great user experience.
See our Open Graph documentation to learn more about permissions and
configuring the enhanced auth dialog.
And most importantly a quote from Lu's, the blog author, response to that same question from Sven Gali (oh svengali!):
the four cases are context-sensitive and currently, there is no
control for you to pick a particular button text. We show different
button text in different situations, as we've found that users are
more likely to install your application if the call-to-action text
aligns with their expectations. Thus, the logic currently is something
like*:
if the user has already installed the app and you are requesting additional permissions that includes "publish_actions", we use "Add to
Facebook"
if you're a game app, we use "Play Game"
if your auth dialog is shown in display=popup (e.g. after user clicks a "Log In with Facebook" fb:login button), we use "Log In with
Facebook"
in other situations, we use "Go to App"
*Obligatory Disclaimer: We may adjust the logic tree in the future without notice, as we're constantly testing variations to improve the
user-auth experience. But hopefully this is helpful so you can at
least understand how it is currently functioning under the hood :)
Note that Facebook appear to be adding more variants to this set of 4 now. I've noticed that newspaper apps generally have the text 'Read this article' as the button text.
