Any sample on making EntryElement align to the right?
I can't figure out how to inherit/override the EntryElement.
Thanks,
Mojo

I'm just switch from basic bootstrap 5 select to tom select, but I'm not able to match the colors of the buttons.
This is what it looks like, on the left side is the old bootstrap 5 drop, on the right side is tom select. Color for the select is "btn-outline-secondary".
Example image
Any help would be appreciated!
Was expecting the buttons to have the same border and text color
I found that if you remove the "form-select" class from the tom-select element it should render bootstrap css correctly:
document.getElementById("your_tom_element").classList.remove('form-select');
however, this is a fairly dirty solution in case you need something quick.
I would investigate whether this solution solves your problem, and then see whether some of the bootstrap classes collide with the tom-select classes.
Maybe try to provide also a bit more information regarding your block of code that is problematic.

Before I start making custom widgets I wanted to see if anyone knew a way to fix this with vanilla Flutter. It seems to be something related to the TextEditingController but I'm not entirely sure.
When the TextField is set to centre or right align it seems to work just fine, but when on left / start / justify it always seems to have that slight jitter.
Thanks in advance! ~ I may post this to the Github repository as well
Edit: You can see that the cursor jitters only when it moves to the left of the textfield. When it is moving within the string it does not jitter at all. I was testing this on a simulated iPhone 11
This problem has two parts to it. First, the cursorOffset of the text_field.dart for whatever reason has a negative x value.
This causes the cursor to be jammed into it's container making the width look weird. Second, the TextStyle.height property causes the cursor to jump.
I figured out how to fix this thanks to Pavel!

Fix Cursor Offset
The cursorOffset value is stored within the text_field.dart file. In
order to edit it, you should probably create a duplicate of the
text_field.dart file to customize. Here's how to do that,
although you might find better answers with a Google
Once you have the file ready to edit navigate to cursorOffset
within TargetPlatform.iOS. It should be around line 924-ish if
your file is unmodified.
Change the values of Offset(...) to 0 & 0 (x, y) respectively or
whatever you think is appropriate.
If you duplicated the text_field.dart file correctly then it should
be working right away!
Fix Cursor Jump
This fix is a lot less work. Simply add in a TextStyle widget to the
style: property of a TextField widget.
Then, just fill in the height property of your TextStyle widget
with whatever you think! I found 1.3 was a good median but pick the
best height for your fontSize. Here's some information on
height:

I've got a long text field which wraps to another page, the problem is that the border on first page does not matches end of page...
I guess I coul've fixed it by adding some Frame element, but I couldn't achive it by now.
thanks!
I guess the cause of this problem was "Strech type: relative to tallest object"
my solution was to put all the fields in an outlined frame
and disable fields bottom border
I've been bumping my head against this all morning.

I cannot seem to set the lineTension (also tried tension) property on the line chart,I always get the bezier default lines.I basically need spiked lines.
Thanks
Silly me,needed this
$scope.datasetOverride = [{lineTension: 0.001}];
I am trying to create a new widget for Orange 3. I see that it provides some default areas (controlArea and mainArea) to which I can add my components. As far as I can tell, widget.py places both of these inside 'self.leftWidgetPart' which uses vertical orientation for its layout. From widget.py:
self.leftWidgetPart = gui.widgetBox(self.topWidgetPart,
orientation="vertical", margin=0)
if self.want_main_area:
...
self.mainArea = gui.widgetBox(self.topWidgetPart,
orientation="vertical",
sizePolicy=QSizePolicy(QSizePolicy.Expanding,
QSizePolicy.Expanding),
margin=0)
I would like to layout controlArea and mainArea horizontally instead. I believe this is possible because the OWBoxPlot widget appears to do it, but I can't work out what/where the relevant code snippet is (I guess my Python is weak).
Any help appreciated,
David
In PyQt in general, you can change the orientation by removing the existing layout and replacing it with another (hopefully before you populate it).
For self.controlArea in Orange, you can do something like this.
from PyQt4.QtGui import QHBoxLayout
import sip
sip.delete(self.controlArea.layout())
self.controlArea.setLayout(QHBoxLayout())
