How can I update Calendar on my iPhone through my Xcode app - iphone

I am trying to update iCal from within my iPhone app, I believe I need to use the EventKit framework but cannot find any examples. I've found a snippet of code which uses
EKEvenStore *thisEvent = [EKEventStore eventWithEventStore:eventstore];
but it wont compile, so I am missing something. If anyone can provide an example that would really help

I managed to find a site which had a tutorial which did the job for me, The site is http://mobileorchard.com/ios-advanced-programming-event-kit-framework/

How do I properly implement Urban Airship in Xcode 4.2 for iOS 5?

I am new to iOS Development and am now venturing into adding different features into my Apps and now would like to be able to implement Push Notifications into iOS5 apps with Xcode 4.2.
I have tried my hardest to understand the iPhone Developer instructions regarding Push Notifications, but found that the easiest method (according to many sources around the internet) would be to use Urban Airship!
I have gone over this for quite a number of days now and tried and tried my hardest to be able to complete the steps required in the Set Up A New Application part of the document.
It states:
The core library requires your application to link against the following Frameworks (sample UIs have additional linking requirements):
libUAirship-.a
CFNetwork.framework
CoreGraphics.framework
etc, etc, etc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwqM4wfaYNU
The link just above is a YouTube video of what steps I took to follow these instructions and it's really starting to get to me. I would like someone to be able to provide me with some assistance and explain what I am doing wrong, and how to better understand the way you link against the following Frameworks because I have tried my hardest, and never managed to understand it.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated from anyone.
You are trying to #import a static library in your code. The .a file is a library, not an include file. You just need to add them to your project and then include the .h file in your project.
Search Google for adding static library to xcode, or similar. For example, A quick Google search found this

Salesforce Api implementation on iPhone

I am implementing salesforce api in my project. I downloaded code from the below link
https://github.com/developerforce/Force.com-Toolkit-for-iOS
But the problem is that i want this api on iPhone not on iPad.
When i am going to convert it on iPhone. I am fail. It is typical to convert it because of difference of code like split view etc.
I dont want split view just simple api. If you guys source code of it then share. Thanks.
(Note: I am using xcode not phonegap)
I think you're confusing yourself by looking at the sample app, the actual api library itself doesn't use splitviews as far as i know. Concentrate on what's in the ZKSforce directory, and not the sample SVNTest app.
There is a document link
:
http://forcedotcom.github.com/MobileContainer-iOS/Documentation/SalesforceSDK/Classes/SFRestAPI.html
here is the code:

EverNote Api for iphone

Hi I am using Evernote Api for iphone. I downloaded Api from developers site of evernote. But I dont know how to use it...Any one know about this or have any links or examples to understand this?
Adding iOS sample code is a top priority. In the meantime, please have a look at http://digitalpericope.net/?p=27, which might help you get started.

iPhone - where can i find a sample of GKVoiceChatClient?

I want to be able to let users of my iPhone app communicate using the GKVoiceChatClient classes. The documentation for the 3.0 SDK is very vague and I don't see any good samples in the Sample Code either.
Can someone please tell me where I can find some working example of in-game voice using which I can learn how to use it!
Thanks.
You'll need an account on the Apple Developer forums, but I stumbled across this a little while ago. I don't know if its functional but comments further along in the thread lead me to believe it is.
Example in the Apple Developer forums

Using the Twitter API within iPhone application

I want to integrate Twitter API into my iphone application. I have read about JSON framework with iPhone SDK 2.2. But I am new to this type of application. Can anybody please explain how to integrate this Twitter's APIs with my application and how to use it. Also tell me how to open "svn checkout http://json-framework.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ json-framework-read-only" I have downloaded this code, but I'm not sure where to go from here. Please help me in this issue. Thanks in advance.
Try MGTwitterEngine.
You might consider looking at the Stanford iPhone programming course for some basic "how to use an API" type information.
Their in-class sample app is a low-end Twitter app that uses the JSON library, you might find that a useful example.
