It is used to auto complete code generation as is is shown in movie (for example to create local variable after clicking key combination ad the end of line).
It would make my life easier :)
I'm currently using flash builder 4.6 on windows 7 x64. Plugins that I have installed are: SourceMate and CodeFormatter
Maybe this isn't a plugin after all, maybe I must install eclipse and flash builder as a plugin. Help me with this one please.
As I mention in comment to my question I found out that application that was used in this video is FDT5. I hope that someday these features will be build into Flash Builder.

I've been working on developing some audio plugins recently using the JUCE framework. I'm having an issue regarding naming the plugin. I've created separate projects for entirely different plugins. However when I load the plugin by starting Logic Pro X, I seem to only get the most recent plugin that I built, however, the plugin is always title as the very first plugin that I made. That is to say, It seems that when I make a new plugin, it takes on the name of my previous plugin and replaces it.
I've tried renaming the Plugin Code, but the AU validation tool recognizes the plugin as having the Plugin Code of the previous plugin.
Has anyone come across this problem or have any suggesting as to what might be causing it?
Additionally, I was using the WDL framework before using JUCE and had the same problem. This of course makes me think that the problem is not specific to JUCE or WDL.

Open the Introjucer with one of your projects and select the "Config" tab in the left panel. Then select your project at the top of the tree view.
In the right panel, you should see 2 fields called "Plugin Manufacturer Code" and "Plugin Code".
Your other project should have the same Plugin Manufacturer code, but a different Plugin Code to uniquely identify each plugin.
I have created a eclipse product using product configuration (.product) file. I want to display a dialog before the eclipse splash screen(the product screen) appears for some validation.Since am launching the product from the configuration(.product) file,i dont have an IApplication implementation to do the same.
Usage of startup extension is not useful as the control is given to startup extension only after loading the workbench.How this usecase can be supported ? Any help is appreciated.

The startup extension is the earliest place you could get control because, for performance reasons, your plugin won't be started until the user explicitly requests some action that requires your plugin. If you have to run some validation earlier, your two choices are to modify the base Eclipse code and deliver a modified Eclipse platform with your product or perform the validation when you install your plugin.
For completeness, I'll also note that some repackagers of the Eclipse platform (IBM Rational comes to mind. Others have done this, too) have at times included a licensing component that you might be able to plug in to.

I need to create a plug-in for Eclipse CDT that sends a "snapshot" of the source code of the currently opened editor each time the code is "built".
I am already capable of doing it each time the user presses a custom button created by me, but it would be great if it could be done when the "standard" "build" action is performed.
Do i need no create a plug-in of the type "builder"?
I am using Eclipse 4.4.0...

One solution would be to create your own custom "Builder". Instead of actually building the code, it would invoke the functionality you already have.

As a side note, this works with any kind of eclipse project (JDT and CDT). The build described there is common to all flavours.

I want to use Eclipse to develop code I will be uploading to my Atmega 2560 microcontroller. I could easily use the Arduino IDE to do this, but in my opinion, developing on Eclipse is a whole lot easier.
So, I followed this guide.
I get to the step where I have to add a programmer, but when I click on the Add button, nothing happens.
Does anyone have an idea as to what might be the problem?
The issue here is that 6.0.x series of avrdude uses a different configuration file which the avr-eclipse plugin is not able to parse. There is a ticket filed for this in the bug tracker in SourceForge.
A temporary solution would be to downgrade to avrdude 5.11.x.

I tried to use Eclipse for Arduino development and I followed this tutorial too but it didn't work for me. Also I couldn't find normal description of how I have to use it. From the other side so called Arduino IDE in my opinion isn't IDE it's very primitive buggy editor(looks like amateur product).
To upload my program to Atmega controller I decided to use avrdude direct from the console, where I specify programmer type and hex file that I want to upload. In this case I write program in c and use avrgcc toolchain for compiling and linking. However the question about IDE is still opened for me(the main problem for me that I don't know how to debug my code without IDE).
Also exist Atmel IDE AVrStudio. I didn'y try to use it, my I will mention it like a variant that you can try if you want.
Getting AVRDude (used by the AVR-ecplipse plugin) running on Windows with USB connected AVR programmers can be a real pain, often involving very specific driver uninstall/install sequences, such as those described at the bottom of this forum topic. I used to use Eclipse for my AVR programming, but have since moved to the new iteration of Atmel Studio. Version 6 is now available, and its relatively straight forward to get everything working well. There are a few things odd about it, but it has improved a lot since AS4.
I'm a beginner trying to learn my way through making my first real Android app. I actually started an app using Eclipse and have gotten pretty far with it. I'd like to be able to continue its development using B4A. Is it possible to bring my work from Eclipse into B4A?
What you can do, is to wrap your existing code as a library and then reference it from Basic4android. See this video tutorial.
B4A is a language on its own and it has its own editor.
While, in theory, you can edit project files of a B4A application with any editor, I would assume that you used JAVA as your main programming language.
As B4A uses a language that close resembles (Visual) Basic that, in turns gets converted into JAVA while compiling, you have actually 2 choices in front of you if you want to use B4A:
1) the first is to port your project to B4A but this means that you will need to rewrite the code according to the B4A language specifications;
2) the second option would be to integrate your JAVA code running it inline : see this forum post on the topic
