Modifying name of company of app after approval - iphone

Today my app is ready for sale on app store but unfortunately I made a mistake when providing my company name. Is there any way to modify the company name? If anyone has any idea then please share.
Thanks in Advance

The company name is set permanently when you submit your first app. You cannot change it once your app has been submitted. You should've been more careful. Read the docs which clearly state this. Your best bet now is to contact Apple and see what can be done.

At Last i came to know after calling apple developer support that it's one time setting for PERSONAL ACCOUNT and can not be changed only we can edit the company name to seller name .We can not make any other change So please be careful while submitting your first app.And if your account is COMPANY ACCOUNT in that case it's possible by following some tedious procedures. As my account was personal account so i left it as it was by taking a lesson. Thanks to all who guided me in the process.

Company name when submitting iPhone app to App Store

I have an individual membership with the Apple developer program. When I submit my app to the app store, will my name show up as the seller, or will I be able to put a different name, specifically, a company name?
If I remember correctly, the name of the individual is what appears as the seller through an individual account. If you had a business membership, then the name of the business would appear there. That's one of the perks of the business option, aside from team management.
This may have changed in the last year since I last submitted an app, but I'm fairly confident it has not. Please feel free to correct me if it has.
Yes, you can. The Seller info is what you put under itunes connect.

Changing Apple developer company/organization name

Say an independent US-based developer creates an Apple Developer account as an individual contributor. They choose a company/organization name "XYZ Apps". They never create an LLP or file any type of business paperwork other than reporting taxes.
Now the developer wishes to change the company/organization name. Apple requests "court/business" documentation verifying the new name. The developer doesn't have said docs because there hasn't been any official business name change or anything.
How can the independent developer update their company/organization name in this case?
Perhaps they can tell Apple it's just an aesthetic name change. Any feedback from people with experience is greatly appreciated!
Edit: after reading around the web it seems like creating another developer account might be the easiest route. This assumes you don't have apps with the original account where the exact name is important.
Apple does not appear to allow any "aesthetic" name changes, only a legal incorporation name or a legal corporate name change. So you may need to incorporate your business, and request Apple change your developer enrollment to a company enrollment, in order to change the name on your developer account.

Facebook Developer Account Verify

I created a new Facebook account and verified it with my cell phone. I even see "Your mobile phone has been successfully verified." in https://www.facebook.com/confirmphone.php address.
So, everything seems perfect.
Then, I became Facebook friends with my friend (he is also verified and already created an Application). We are trying to add ME as an ADMIN for this Facebook Application from HIS account.
Even though both are completely verified by phone, HE canNOT add me as ADMIN for that application. He is getting
Only verified developers can be added as listed developers of this application. Read http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=17580 for details.
message all the time.
We waited more than an hour just in case the Facebook system did not recognize my new verification.
In fact, I even tried removing the phone number and get verified again.
None of above did work and still getting the message which does not allow me to become an Admin of the application.
Could you help me?
Thanks in advance
I've heard of people having all kinds of problems with the developer section of Facebook.com
One resolution seems to be to log out of both accounts and log back in again.
It turns out that, facebook itself does not accept my account and thinks it is duplicate account. And in order to make them believe the Facebook team want me to provide these below:
Our systems indicated that your account may not be authentic based on
a variety of factors. If you believe you are being prevented from
creating apps by mistake, please reply to this email with a digital
image of your government-issued identification. Make sure the
identification you provide meets all of the following requirements:
Must be government-issued (e.g. passport, driver's license)
Must be in color
Must clearly show your full name, date of birth, and photo
If possible, please save this file in JPEG image format.
I dont know why they are making such a huge problem.
In my case, I used phone number to login my account and hadn't any email attached. after adding email as a primary contact I was able to verify my developer account.

Providing back doors for Apple app submission testing

I am getting ready to submit an educational app to Apple for review. The app is somewhat like a series of flash cards, and working through the entire app would require thousands of "flips".
In the hopes of shortening the review process and preserving some poor tester's sanity should s/he want to see the end state of the app, I am considering adding some way to fool the app into thinking that the user is done. My first thought is to add a check for a boolean in standardUserDefaults that would do such, and giving the name of the setting in the "provide us with login information" field on the app submission page.
So my question is, does anyone know if app reviewers are able to directly edit NSUserDefaults values?
Alternatively, does anyone have any other good ideas for accomplishing this?
(I would prefer to avoid "secret key press" type solutions if possible...)
As part of the submission process apple will ask if your app has any "demo" or "test" accounts. They are intended for just this purpose. So you may want to consider including a "secret code" and document it in this section. I know you said you don't want to go that route, but i highly doubt a tester is going to do anything outside of the standard process (such as edit NSUserDefaults)
Have the test account you give Apple for review (password protected) ask your server for permission to unlock all the data. You can disable this test account on your server after the app is approved; and/or after a certain date, by which time you expect the app to be in the App store.

iphone app approval question

I'm about to submit an app for approval and have a quick question:
it's a simple app for drink recipes and i was wondering if it's ok to use brand names in the app, like 'Stoli Vodka' ?
I've put the reg. trademark symbol next to the brand.
thanks in advance.
Generally it's not a good. Apple will almost certainly approve it though. They are not the copyright police and will not dig into your affairs to see if you have permission. They will hound you though if you use their trademarks.
You will need to get permission from the brand owners.
No it's not legal, however your app can pass successfully the Apple test , for instance it exists an App named iMario that use Nintendo brand name and this app was created by a man like you and me and his app has been approval ;-)
