Can track belong to the application and not individual users? - soundcloud

My application isn't going to be revolved around soundcloud users, I will be using it for its nice api that is provided to stream audio. I also want to use the javascript upload feature but that seems to be out of the question too.
The record widget should be able to upload the audio to your server so that you can upload the audio not as an individual user.
I still haven't been able to get my app to work without using their authentication window.
Any help would be appreciated.

Nearly everything you do with the SoundCloud API must be done on behalf of a SoundCloud account. You can only use the SoundCloud API to stream content from or upload content to a SoundCloud account.
If you'd like to have SoundCloud functionality in your app, I'd recommend allowing users to connect their SoundCloud accounts.

"Authenticating without the SoundCloud Connect Screen", from the API docs: http://developers.soundcloud.com/docs/api/guide#user-credentials
With this method you can log in as a user in the code. Since every app must be registered to a user anyway, you can make a new username to register the app, and log in with that one.

Embed Live Streaming From Facebook Page When They Start Streaming

I am trying to know how get just the live video stream from a facebook page. In my case, I want to build an app to my church and I need just their live stream. On their facebook page are a lot of videos that was streamed, but I'm not interested that, I want just their live stream.
Problem: I don't know when they start streaming and I don't know how get it, I'd like to have just the streaming video that they start streaming.
Someon can help me with that?
IIRC you also asked this question in the FB Dev group and added the info that you do not have access to those pages. W/o access to them or having admin users granting your app access to them you cannot retrieve notifications/callbacks whenever a broadcast starts. Even when just polling them (using the endpoint CBroe mentioned) you need a page access token to do so.

How to use Google Api to upload to a single Youtube channel on a User-less app

I'm building an app that will allow users to upload videos to my Youtube channel. I have checked online about using Google Api to access the data/upload videos, but all references and examples seem to assume videos will be uploaded to the user's youtube channel, hence the process always involves using OAuth to gain approval from the user.
However, in my case the only youtube channel all users will access is mine. And I'm not even asking them to create an account on my app to upload the videos. Is there a way to do this directly from the app.
My app is an iOS app, but if you have a solution in any other language, I welcome your suggestion.
Thanks in advance
I had the same problem not so long ago. Youtube Documentation doesnt make it easy. Even though you getting access to your own Youtube channel, You still need to be authenticated using OAuth. Google makes hard for you to be vulnerable to attacks.
My solution is using a server side(API) application. What you can then do is make your iOS app hit the API.
So the tricky thing is getting the refresh token. Its hardly documented anywhere. What you can then do is follow documentation of your preferred language for the API.
The documentation can be found here https://developers.google.com/youtube/v3/guides/auth/server-side-web-apps
Get the Refresh token:
Step 1 : Hit this url in the browser https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/auth?client_id=ClientID_Here&redirect_uri=urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob&scope=https://gdata.youtube.com&response_type=code&access_type=offline
It will make you log in using your youtube credential which is your google account.
You will then have to agree for google to access your account by clicking allow.
At the end it will give you a code.
Step 2 : You should then authenticate using a clientless platform.
(eg instead of browser) Use curl instead. (There plenty of 3 minute tutorials on how to use curl)
Hit this url endpoint :
curl https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/token -d "code=CodeFromGoogleOAuth&client_id=ClientIDHere&client_secret=ClientSecretHere&redirect_uri=urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob&grant_type=authorization_code"
You should then get a refresh token in the response.
There are alot of examples of how to upload from then on like
https://developers.google.com/youtube/v3/code_samples/dotnet
In the example above you have to avoid using the GoogleWebAuthorizationBroker use Googles one instead. Look for RefreshToken Field
It is not possible to allow third parties to upload videos to a single YouTube account with the YouTube Data API, and that is by design. See this Google Blog, explaining "It’s tempting to design a system in which all videos are uploaded to a single “master” YouTube account, but this is always the wrong approach."
A potential workaround is to use YouTube Direct Lite, which allows you to easily build and moderate a playlist on your YouTube account comprised of videos uploaded by your users on their accounts.

facebook, twitter, youtube app creation and api integration help required... just a small answer required

I am working on PHP application which will be shipped to many users for their own.
App needs to integrate
Facebook api for auto post their web articles to their fb profile/page.
Twitter api for same purpose as above and to search for tweets/users.
Youtube api to upload videos to their user account.
I already have completed the software, Right now software has api settings menu for each of them. Where user create their own app on respective platform and setup app id/secrets etc... IT works fine...
But I am looking for a way where, we use our own app codes, and user only has to click on button which redirect them to their platform and they can allow access to our app. So they dont have to go through their own app creation.
Just like how login with social media things work...
I know thats possible and my question is not about how to do this...
My question is about IF I do that, will that create any App usage limitation issues for users ? For example, if I create my own Youtube app settings from http://console.developers.google.com/ and all users just authorise my app to their account, will it create any issues if all users (may be 2000 users) uploads upto 5 videos per day ? Will the usage limit counted per application or per user access assigned ?
I need the answer for facebook/twitter and youtube. I know some one how has already done this can answer this quickly and easily...
Thanks for reading my question...

Is there a way to display a google maps with a route from a Facebook app without needing a backend?

So I've got a mobile app that tracks a user's route. (cycling app.) I'd like to create a Facebook app that I can use to display their route on Facebook. Is this possible to do without requiring a backend server of my own? I've heard it's possible, but given that I'm uploading 500-700k worth of route data at times, I'm not exactly sure how that could possibly work. Any pointers?
Thanks!

Post video to wall from IOS, through server

I've done a fair bit of searching for this, but can't seem to find an answer for this specific problem. I'm fairly new to web development as well, so forgive me if the answer is right in front of my eyes.
I have an IOS app which needs to allow a user to post a video to his FB wall, which is created from content the user creates from within the app.
However, the rendering of the video is too processor-instensive for the device itself, so I'm hoping to do something like the following:
Allow the user to authenticate the post, using the IOS login.
When this happens, ipload an xml file to a remote server which has all the data needed to render the video.
This server is running a custom app which will render the video and then complete the post operation, uploading the video with the user's credentials and posting it to their wall.
Is this possible? If not, can anyone suggest alternatives? Maybe I could host the file somewhere else and then simply post a link to it on the wall directly from the app?
Thanks in advance.
Sounds like this tutorial is what you want:
How-To: Use the Graph API to Upload a Video (iOS)
You'll obviously have to tweak it since you're doing the upload server side, but should be able to figure that out. The basics you'll needto do:
have the iOS app log the user in and grant the correct permissions
after login, keep track of the user's facebook access token
When submitting the video-generation request to your server, include the user's access token
When the server is ready to post, it uses that access token to post on the user's behalf.
