How do i build an iphone app that installs on a jailbreaked Iphone? - iphone

I am a registered apple developer, and I want to install my application on a jailbreaked iphone.
My question is If i register the device for development and create the provisioning report and app built following the normal steps will i be able to install the application on the jaibreaked divice. If not please tell me how to install my app on a jailbreaked Iphone.

You can also install on a jailbreak iOS Device using XCode or iTunes (the normal way).
The jailbreak won't break your Xcode installation/deployment possibilities.

Registering a jailbroken development device

The few posts I've found regarding this issue are quite old or not concluding about it... is there any problem in registering a jailbroken iPhone/iPad for development, and then proceeding normally creating the provisioning profiles and so on? May this depend on the Xcode version or iOS version used?
There is no problem with registering a jailbroken device for development. I've used many with my iTunes Connect account \ Member center etc'. Got nothing to do with the Xcode version \ iOS version.
A small edit, Having a JailBroken Device is not all good though. I've experienced a lot of weird behavior when using a Jailbroken device with installed tweaks and Xcode, for example, if you'll install the tweak PhotoAlbums+ from Cydia you won't be able to run your apps on the device while it's connected to Xcode.

Installing a TestFlight app on iOS iPhone Simulator - Registration Failed

I'm attempting to install a TestFlight app on XCode's iOS simulator using the iPhone simulator. The link to the TestFlight app takes me to a page that says "This device will need to be registered before it can install betas."
There is a friendly Register button. When I click the register button, it says "Registering Device" and then it takes me to the iPhone's General settings page. If I navigate back to the TestFlight page, it says "Registration Failed."
Does anyone know of a way to install a TestFlight app on the iPhone Simulator? Thanks.
The app you are trying to install is an app compiled for arm architecture, which is different from the simulator (the simulator is not an emulator). The simulator only runs x86 apps compiled for it. You will need to contact the developer of the application to send you the x86 binaries, and add them directly to the application directory of the iOS simulator. The directory (on Xcode 4.5 beta 4) is /Applications/Xcode45-DP4.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator5.1.sdk/Applications. Note that the simulator's sdk version has to match the version of iOS you are trying to use the simulator with.
If you need test your Release application
you can run your on a release build go to
->Product->Scheme -> Edit scheme-> in Run change debug to Release
in this you can check your release build in simulator
If I had to guess, I would presume that since the Simulator is not a valid device, it is not able to install the TestFlight Profiles onto the device, and therefore failing registration process (when you are directed to the iPhone's Settings, it tries to install a profile on your device).
May I ask why you are trying to install the app via the iPhone Simulator? If the app's code exists on GitHub, you can use the GitHub for Mac app to checkout the code, and XCode to compile the project and build it to the iOS Simulator. There should not really be any reason to have to install TestFlight on the iOS Simulator.

No.

XCode is free. It's in the AppStore. The $99 is to give you the ability to distribute applications in the AppStore and run it on a device. You will still be able to develop and run applications in an emulator for free.
I you don't want to install the dev environment, you can use their cloud service to build native apps written in HTML+CSS+Javascript. It's free and allows you to target all the supported platforms.

You only have to upload your finished app and get a compiled, native app.

How to install project ipa file on iPhone query?

I have created Map application for iPhone using xcode 3.2 and sdk 4.3.2. I have created
ipa file and send it to my client. But he is unable to run my project on his iPod. What are
the steps to follow for my client to run an project ipa file. Do my client need to jailbroke his device????
Open iTunes, drag the ipa to the library and then sync the device. Make sure the app is selected to be installed on the device.
The only other thing I can think of, is that his device is not provisioned to run the application. Have him give you the UDID, add him to the provisioning profile and then make another build if the first solution does not work.
And no he doesn't need to jail break his device.
don't jailbreak!
use testflightapp.com :)
follow their directions, and make sure you register your client's device and update your provisioning profiles when building your app.
good luck!
if you have a developper licence, you should try TestFlightApp.com.

how to run project in iphone mobile

hi i am new to iPhone application development. i developed a simple project on xcode now i check it in mobile. how can i done this ,means need to create exe file or any thing else
pls help me
The first step is to join the iPhone development program. Once you that and follow the instructions of createing a developer certificate you can run your code on a physical device. If you're using the latest version if Xcode just connect your device - choose device in the build settings and build & run. It will install the app on your device and run it.

Obtaining your iPhone Development Certificate - Requires login to apple dev center
