I am wondering if it is possible to post through a Facebook app to an associated page as if the post was done on the page itself. I.e. if I am logged onto Facebook and I go to a page I am admin for, then when I post it will appear with the name of the page rather than my Facebook name. I would like to replicate this behaviour but coming from an external website connecting through a Facebook app. I have made all of the connections and I am able to post ok but it is coming through as my name. I am using the Javascript API with the following to login:

Then I publish the message with the following after logging in and accepting the permissions:

It's all about Authentication, you have a User Access Token but you need a Page Access Token to authenticate as a page.

I am stuck with access rights in trying to post on facebook company page.
I have created an application and gotten appId and secret.
I have linked the application to the existing facebook page.
I have retrieved an accessToken for the appId.
But get the response: "(#200) The user hasn't authorized the application to perform this action."
Which user does the error statement refer to? the AppId user? The administrators of the page (me)? And where can I grant these missing rights?
I am trying to achieve that the post functionality is not facebook-user-dependent, but is company (or appID) dependent.
I am really confused about this...
Off course we could create a bogus user (kept in the company files) and post as this user - but that goes against the Facebook policy, and that is not the road we want to go down...

In order to post to a Page "as Page", you need to do the following:
Authorize a Page Admin with publish_pages and manage_pages
Use the /me/accounts endpoint to get a Page Token for that Page
Use that Page Token with the /pageid/feed endpoint to post as Page

I am trying to post photo/video on facebook wall using me/photos and me/videos/ method, which requires publish_actions ,user_photos and user_videos extended permissions. I submitted my app for Facebook review for approving extended permissions. I got reply saying that "People must enter all content in the user message field. Your app can't auto-populate the message field with any content, including links and hashtags, even if you allow users to edit the content before sharing."
As per the review feedback I have to allow user to edit the p refilled messages, The method I am using not showing share pop up to edit. Please guide me how to open facebook share pop up to edit the content.. Thanks in advance !!

I'm developing a pure-html/js web application (actually I'm using AngularJS; with "pure" I mean: I'm not using any server side technology) which uses a Facebook-Connect button like this:

For narrow-purposes I just printed the contents of a controller. Assume such controller exists, requires the person is logged in Facebook, and the user is currently logged in.
My Issues are:
The Login button does not update the page when I login. This is because no onlogin= was put. Question: How can I assign such attribute in an Angular way? (i.e. the handler coming from the scope).
$scope.fetchData is successfully executed. However, $scope.fetchAccounts is not. I'm asking this because I included the ads_management permission in the button. Question: What am I missing? (error: code: 10

The first question, no idea. The second question, your app is not whitelisted for Ads API usage. Look into the Ads APi documentation on how to request access.

No. You need to explicitly login the user by following the Facebook Login Flow to request an access token

Yes and No. No, because it's not like you will have someone from Facebook Support Team going through your app to make sure your app ticks all the boxes. Yes, because you will need to register your app with Facebook. So, technically all you need to do is register with Facebook as a developer and register your app in order to get an app secret and API key. You can have your app in "Sandbox mode", create test users and test your integration with Facebook before you publish it live. There's few requirements you need to meet before publishing it, such as providing set of logos of a specific size, etc. Here's a blog explaining part of the process, but really, the process is very straight-forward and you should be able to get through easily by yourself.
Now, the error you are getting says it all. There's no user logged in to facebook. The endpoint you are trying to post to, requires a active valid access token, if it doesn't exist then there's no context, no user authenticated and you need to explicitly authenticate the user by invoking the login dialog...

I created an Android App with PhoneGap:Build and the FB Connect Plugin. The app works fine and the FB Plugin, too. Just one tiny thing isn't working yet. I won't to post something after submiting a button which works, too. At the first time the user has to login and grant permissions to the FB App and them the post is published. That's the way it should be. And the next time the user submits the post should be published without the whole permission thing but this isn't working!? FB shows a message like "You already granted permission ... to the app." and the user has to push the Ok-button before the post is published???
Because I still haven't found an answer for my question, maybe I just do something wrong in my FB Javascript call? Here is the current code:

I think the solution to this problem is to not include the login request every time you want to post something. You can check login status, and/or permissions, without performing a login. Then, if the user is not logged in, do the login first, and come back to the new post action.
