I ran http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug on the 2 URL's below. Both debug test results returned identical results.
When you click the Share This Story button on the 1st link below, it increments and sticks fine.
When you click the Share This Video button on the 2nd link below, it increments but does not stick.
Code behind on both pages are identical.
Does anyone know why the 2nd like button will not retain its increment counter?
http://www.robertlanza.com/does-death-exist-new-theory-says-no-2/ (Like incrementing works)
http://www.robertlanzabiocentrism.com/video/wormhole/ (Like incrementing doesn't work)
Try to change the links creation from video/wormhole/ to video-wormhole/. I bet there is a path resolution issue with facebook looking for video/ on the server when there isn't one. I noticed all your other links don't follow this / convention so for the sake of consistency I would change the path to -.
What do you mean by "does not work"? Both seemed to function properly when I tested them.

I have 3 different GUI containers/sections, one for showing resources, one for building, and one for inventory. Clicking anything in the resource and building sections works completely fine, the mouse is where it needs to be and clicking/hovering over a button will actually click/hover over the button.
The problem is only in the inventory GUI. I'm not sure how it's any different, so I don't know what I need to provide here for anyone to help me out, so please ask me for any extra info if you need it in the comments. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the code or the UI elements, or whatever else it might be. I'm going to provide some examples of this happening, though.
Here is a gif of what it looks like in the inventory (ignore the items not doing what they are supposed to): https://s3.gifyu.com/images/ezgif.com-gif-maker-37b00e5b2a1c164b2.gif
Here is a gift of me just hovering/clicking around in the inventory: https://s3.gifyu.com/images/ezgif.com-gif-maker97b27b8783d784c6.gif
Here is a gif of this working in the "Building" section: https://s9.gifyu.com/images/ezgif.com-gif-maker-287d7a9723f9db2b1.gif

Here are some images that might be useful. Here is the layout:
There is no difference when I select, for example, Building and Inventory. Here is a comparison:
I have looked around on Google for about 30 minutes, but I couldn't find anything related to this.
I have found the issue. The issue was with the slot prefab that was in the inventory screen, as it had text that was way bigger than it was: https://prnt.sc/uDRXz2Kr4kQr
I initially hadn't noticed this as simply clicking on the prefab itself shows that it's the right size: https://prnt.sc/BXQqAzMD-kWX
Resizing the text seems to fix the issue.
I am facing issue with callbacks. I have 3 drop downs, one scattermap , one table and one slider on the screen and they all need to work in tandem and i have 5 call backs. When i execute the application all my callbacks associated with these controls execute in random order. After that when i click on scattermap it may or may not work. Say we assume it worked. Then i can navigate all around without any hassle. Then if i execute the application then click on the scattermap then as i mentioned it may or may not work. Say suppose it didn't work this time. If so is the case it will not work at all no matter what i do and simulaneously one specific dropdown also becomes dysfunctional. However if click any of the other two drop downs then evrything will start functioning as normal.
I have digged really deep into this and figured out that this has nothing to do with my code. The underlying issue is that when the click doesn't work the reason the reason behind that is the callback isn't getting triggered. I found out this by applying some debugging techniques and i am 100% sure the callback is not firing. Can anyone help me resolve/understand this please.
this is my very first entry here, may it not be the last....
I am having a bit of a struggle with some GUI stuff.
I really have an animation up front my eyes and it should look like the following: using c# with desktop application.
This Form looks like a login window with server address, username and pw textboxes and with a connect button as well, so nothing special. Size wise it can be small or at least same as size as the turned window. doesnt matter at the end.
once you entered your credentials and all turns out to be fine, connection is there and valid.
The main Form is suppost to flip then (doesnt matter horizontal or vertical),
and shows you your options you got then in this newly window. kind of an animated sign, that you are logged in and have now these options.
But the flip is suppost to stay on the same place. Like a card flip or a coin flip, but just the whole form and it ends then at the same place as before.
(sounds really wired to explain)
This can also be done with a new form poping up, just with a animated turn over, no problem with that.
And this is exactly where I am stuck.
I really cant find any information on how this would look like in code or even in animation.
I am using c# and the basic project started as a desktop application project, which it will be at the end.
Its been a while since my last coding, please be gentle.
i know there are plenty of entries in here also in google as well, but i didnt found anything which will do this for the main window as a total. images etc: yes, but for the whole form: no.
Any help out there?
May be tehr eis a trick i am not aware of? Its been a while since the last coding work, I need to admit that.#greyhairsarecomming
many thanks in advance! much appreciated
kind regards TG
The page I'm using watir-webdriver on will often not load completely for maybe like a minute because of the many external scripts I'm loading/using. This of course means that I have to wait needlessly for a minute when I could have performed the checks I wanted to in 10 seconds after the browser I'm controlling (Firefox) started loading the page.
I noticed that even though my target elements become immediately available in the page, the browser.div(:id => 'some_id').present? method hangs until the page is fully loaded. I noticed that if I press on the stop button in the browser window, watir will immediately continue successfully with my tests (the present? method un-hangs). Is there a way to avoid this behavior of the present? method and be able to tell that my target elements are present without having to wait for the page to fully load?
I've experienced this issue before as well. The method I employed, which rides on the idea you mentioned about hitting the stop button, is as follows:
begin
browser.wait_until{browser.div(:id => 'some_id').present?}
rescue
browser.send_keys :escape
end
expect(browser.div(:id=> 'some_id').present?).to be true
This, by default, gives that div 30 seconds to appear (you can insert a smaller value then 30 if you prefer), otherwise it causes watir to hit 'escape' which will stop any remaining background page loading and resume the test.
.present?
As I understand it checks to see if an element exists AND is visible.
What I would suggest you try, is
.exists?
This will simply check that the element exists, and doesnt care if its visible or not.
Just for reference, there is also a
.visible?
Which just makes sure the item is visible, though I dont ever use that one.
I'm trying to give animation like hardcover page turn effect for first and last page and simple page curl (default for UIPageViewController) to give an album type touch. Can anyone help me to do this using UIPageViewController? I need to display like this as in Mosaic photobook app:
For First page ,

For all pages except last hard cover

And Last page should close the Album
No one has helped yet. :(
There are actually many 3rd party libraries. You can try out and modified that according to your needs. Following are some of them.
