Lightbox fancy box not working in WordPress 3.4 - fancybox

I am using Fancybox for WordPress plugin on my site CoffeeDesignBlog
But as i have upgraded to WordPress 3.4.1, my facnybox is not working at all, i have tested a lot of lightbox plugins and all of them are even not working on my other blog too...Both of the blog are using wp_head anf wp_footer function calls, also the js files for the plugins are also loading.......
Please check any post of my blog and let me know your thoughts about it....

Not sure what the problems are with your websites but had exactly the same thing happen to a pre-production site I'm working on at the mo... Tried a good few solutions but nothing seemed to work...
Finally came across WP jQuery Lightbox (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-jquery-lightbox/)... It's not the prettiest looking lightbox but can be tweaked (it works well with responsive design too which is a bonus)...
Working pretty solid on my WordPress install at the mo (3.4.1)...
Hope that helps...

For Light box i use this plugin in WP 3.4.1, try this its working on my end...

Wordpress Disuqs plugin not working properly

Hi I am new to working with Disqus plugin and I have a strange behavior.
After I installed the plugin and configured it it show comments without andy styling and without even the add comment textarea just showing the comment and comment author name only
It doesn't even include any scripts related to Disqus plugin .
here is the code I used in single.php
<?php comments_template(); ?>
here is the result I get
I have tried to disable the plugin and re-enable it then I try using the twentyfifteen theme and every thing worked fine with it but with my theme I get the issue
Any help will be appreciated , Thanks in advance
The fix for me was to uncheck External Javascript Files option in the plugin settings panel.
It says "Disable this if are not seeing Disqus appear on pages that normally have comments. This will fix the issue if your theme does not support the 'wp_enqueue_script' function, are caching your site on a CDN."
it works like a charm now!
That's happening because the function comments_template() is associated/overridden with the template you're seeing now.
Go through your theme files and you shall find a template that's showing up to you right now.

create app from WordPress website

I have a personal website which built on WordPress. Now, I'm going to create a simple iOS app for it which enables my readers to read and comment on the posts, view the archive, ... usual stuff.
Since I'm using WordPress and my website is something very common, I was wondering if there are any free out of the box toolbox or something for this purpose?
Are you using WPTouch already?
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wptouch/
Did you find :
http://ios.wordpress.org
and the whole project:

I hope it will save you a lot of work ;-)

To JFK: and concerning an url: going back to base is more then often a good starting point :) so at the fancybox-homepage the iframe-example is not fully functional and more: I've downloaded the fancybox plugin and also there de iframe link (and ajax-example) is not really functional.. (btw I'm using FF7).. Greetings

Wordpress/Facebook Comments are displayed overlayed on Wordpress blog

I need help with a problem I'm facing, basically I'm utilizing the new "Facebook Comment Box" feature and the issue is it is overlaying with standard Wordpress comments. It is best described by showing you the following screenshot:
Because I'm new here I couldn't post a screenshot because I don't have enough rep so a link to the screenshot of the problem is here - http://www.wdbc.org.au/comment_screenshot.jpg
The true URL for the above screenshot is here
So I did some investigating around, I couldn't find anyone else who came across this problem, but I also found that it is a combination of factors which makes encountering it more rare. Below are some specifics on what I'm using, and factors I believe are contributing to this problem:
Wordpress 3.1
Wordpress Theme Genesis1.5
Wordpress Plugin Facebook Comments for WordPress 3.1
Wordpress Plugin The Events Calendar 1.6.5
Google Chrome Browser 10.0.648.204
Some important notes on this problem:
It does not happen for the same URL in Explorer or Firefox, only in Chrome
It only happens in Wordpress posts tagged as Events so the events calendar plugin is definitely part of the issue here (for example I don't see the overlap issue on a non-event post which does not utilize the Events Calendar plugin)
My thoughts:
The plugin "The Events Calendar" has something to do with this. The plugin adds some information at the top of the post such as Date, Address, Cost, etc, and the height this information takes up seems to be about exactly the height the wordpress comment is encroaching on the space of the facebook comment section.
I don't have enough Wordpress expertise to dig deeper in to this and determine what is wrong with either the Events plugin or the Chrome browser and I'm not really sure where to start. I would really appreciate if anyone can help provide some tips or guidance on how I could progress with this issue. If you need any further details just ask and I would be happy to share, thank you.
Edit: Same problem observed in Safari (on iPhone) so impacts Chrome/Safari not Firefox/Explorer.
Edit2: On further testing it looks like this is only impacting retrospectively. I created a new Event post and it works fine, but older Event posts are affected. I guess this makes the issue not as impacting as I first thought so I might be able to live with this.
It might have something to do with the like button. I use a plugin for wordpress that also includes the like button. I chose to hide it, and all is good. I will enable the like button using another plugin.

Using Joomla 1.5 based site, I am experiencing a problem while making JAPopup plugin work with Template 29042 from template-help.com

JAPopup is a handy plugin for Joomla to render Youtube videos in a Modal Window so user cannot click on multiple Youtube videos at the same time. The website URL is www.multicorewareinc.com/29042 (hast not gone live yet!). If I use a standard Joomla template such as JA_Parity or rhuk_mllkyway, JAPopup plugin works fine. But instead if I use Template 29042 from template-help.com, JAPopup hangs up. I compared the index.php files of a working template (such as rhuk_milkyway) and Template 29042 and as far as I can tell, 29042 uses Javascript extensively and there appears to be an issue when it comes to launching JAPopup (which too is based on Javascript). I put print statements in all the JAPopup modules and verified that the code was getting executed in either templates. So I am at a loss as to why JAPopup won't execute. If anyone has a suggestion, I would be grateful. Once I fix this, I plan on publishing the problem and the fix on my web-site, www.sreeiyer.com.
What does Firebug say? It's obviously a jscript conflict so start narrowing down the options - does the template use jQuery or another library? Does JAPopup use a library? You can also remove the scripting from the template and start adding it back until the error comes back, then you know what needs to be rewritten.
