I've started working with MailChimp's api.
I've tried connecting to their servers using a rest call
based on a sample code I've found somewhere:
http://api.mailchimp.com/1.3/?output=json&method=campaignTemplateContent&apikey=MyKey-us2&cid=myId
Unfortounatly I keep getting this error:
{"error":"Invalid Mailchimp API Key: **MyKey**-us2 . You are accessing the wrong datacenter - your client library may not properly support our datacenter mapping scheme.","code":104}
I can't find any other code samples working on MailChimp's rest api.
What am I doing wrong here? Where are the code samples?

Your URL is incorrect. You should be hitting http://us2.api.mailchimp.com instead of the one you're using.

Why is that working but mine not working?
I would highly suggest using Postman, which you can use to quickly test requests. I ran your request, with api-key, through Postman and was able to get a 200 response with data. See this screenshot.
Please note I blanked out the api key value. I suggest you do the same in your post unless its fake.

Trying to use Northwind oData Service but not data is returned, previously this was working.
when I check the connection I get the following message:
Connection to "Northwind" established. Response returned: "301: Moved
Permanently"

I just faced a similar situation right now.
Most likely you are using the link without the secure protocol.
Try using https://services.odata.org instead of http://services.odata.org.
I saw old configurations pointing to the wrong URL, but after changing to the secure protocol the problem was solved.

I have just installed openchain (http://openchain.org)
I can check it on http://nossl.wallet.openchain.org/ but I would like to check API using Postman Rest client tool on my PC.
I'm using postman rest client and I have tried URI many times but response is empty : https://docs.openchain.org/en/latest/api/method-calls.html

You should want it to look like something like this picture. Check your headers also, when I use the URL https://www.openchain.org/endpoint/query/recordversion?key=FFFF I get nothing and then when I check the headers I see there is a 404 status which means I was able to communicate with the server but it couldn't find my key. Which makes sense since I am just passing a random key. So see if you are getting a 404 error in your headers and if so then make sure your key is correct.

Is it problem with my request or api isn't working correctly?
It seems that the frontend API of OpenRouteService receives the GET requests correctly, but after it builds the request in xml and relays it to the backend server the server fails to validate the request correctly. It should be a problem with the backend server.
The frontend php code is here for reference.
The web frontend, which POSTs the xml directly to another backend server, seems to work correctly with via points.
Was after some help on getting started with calling the Rally REST webservice from a .NET MVC webclient.
I've been given the web service info here:

So I can see that I can use a URL to access information from Rally - Similar to:

However what I'm not clear on is how to authenticate before making my request?
I'm new to REST web services (have done the SOAP/WSDL awhile back) - so it doesn't seem like with REST you're supposed to add a reference to something to get client classes created? Is this correct? That you just create a HTTPRequest using a URI - and make the call, getting back a HTTPResponse (which I can hopefully do something with).
A lot of examples seem to have specific service/api classes that they're calling methods on or accessing properties - so I'm not sure if that's because they're using SOAP rather than REST - or that they created them themselves.
Maybe I'm looking at the wrong documentation as it seems assumed you know how to be authenticated. Or I'm missing a reference?
I know the question is old, but this might help someone else. You need to pass a Basic Authentication header with your base64-encoded username and password as part of your get() request. I found this information on an Atlassian documentation page and successfully applied it with Rally API 3.0 (should also work with 2.0). So in your get() request, include a header similar to the following:
auth_header = 'Authorization : Basic ' + base64_encode('username:password')
