I am quite a beginner with Windows 8 apps. Does anyone know how to make any element dragable in Windows 8 apps?
I added draggable="true" to the HTML elements that I want to be dragable. But still I'm unable to drag them.
Setting draggable=true does not make everything work. You must hook into the element and write code to handle the manipulation. I want to be able to duplicate a window at the compositor/window manager level.
That is, when the user open a weston-terminal, I want to display it as 2 windows, and be able to apply movement/rotation to those windows.
To emphasize, I don't want to have 2 weston-terminal open, I really need to duplicate the window's content on screen.
Is that possible with weston and where should I look in the code?
I already compiled it and learned to rotate/move windows using weston-shell.c but don't know where to look after.
This isn't possible with the Weston implementation, in the manner you've described. You'd have to hack your own Weston implementation to do this, such that one client can bind to multiple surfaces.
An alternative to consider is to have a surface and subsurface, and have you client render to both the main surface and the subsurface.
I searched alot about this topic but couldnt find any answer. I am ionic to build a android app. I used roundslider component from www.roundsliderui.com. Though whole roundslider fully works but the text input right in middle of roundslider does not work in ionic. I figured out that ionic.bundles.js script in ionic app is causing problem. If I remove this script, roundslider works fine.
Any advice why this script causing problem?

I had the same issue. You have to disable the tap functionality.

The problem is that the modal is not fully loaded at the time the circular-slider is rendered. This article states correctly that the offsetPosition is null if the document (in this case, the modal) is not finished loading
I've seen that this question has been asked a few times, but no one seems to have an answer. I am trying to create an autocorrect feature on a custom keyboard, but I am completely lost as to how to do so. Apple gives some documentation, but it's not very detailed. I know it has something to do with UILexicon data, but I'm not sure what to do with it and how to use it to correct strings of text the user is typing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are asking a very difficult question. In short, there is no built in access to autocorrect on iOS8; there is also no access to the APIs on iOS that allow the system to do things like show the red 'possible error' underline effect, or to other aspects of the system autocorrect behaviour, such as the in-place suggestion dialog (on iOS 7, or if you do not have the suggestions bar visible) or the 'will correct' blue background (on iOS 8).

what you can do is write your own autocorrect engine, from scratch, including both your own text processing and analysis and your own user-interface idioms. This has to all be done with the limitation that you are not able to draw outside of your keyboard's bounds, and you cannot modify anything else on screen. A number of third-party keyboards do this, such as minuum and swiftkey (disclaimer: I work on minuum) but it is a non-incidental amount of work. If you're interested in playing around with this, a good place to start might be the built in UITextChecker class, although auto-correction is ultimately a problem distinct from spell-checking.
UILexicon is only useful once you've already implemented things; all that it really offers you is a list of words that you can use to supplement whatever dictionary you're using, as well as to implement any text shortcuts your user might have added in their system settings. It is not, on its own, enough to build an auto-correction system from.

How to Write a Spelling Corrector is a great little essay / tutorial by Peter Norvig that you might find interesting, and that I would recommend even if you're not trying to write auto-correct.
I'd like to create a twitter like stream out of a sap.m.list, hence when I get more data with a pulltorefresh control, I'd like to update the list with the additional rows, but should not move the list at all, and be hidden until the user scrolls the list down.
Any standard ways of doing this, or alternatively, custom CSS/JS recommended ways of doing this?

There's no need to drop down to jQuery here as OpenUI5 already contains the awesome iScroll library.
I've just setup a test app for you to have a look at here: https://github.com/js1972/ui5_pull_to_refresh.
Clone this; check the readme; then just run grunt serve to open the app in your default browser. You can use Chrome dev tools to emulate an iphone or android, etc.
I think this does what you're after - it works just like the GMail mobile app. You pull down to refresh items and at the end of the refresh your still looking at the same items but can now scroll up to see the new ones.
Will be interesting to see the performance if you have a thousand items... iScroll gives you allot of settings to play that may help (which aren't discussed in the UI5 SDK).
One thing to be careful of with browser scrolling is paint times. If the browser is not 100% done painting then iScroll can't calculate all the element dimensions it needs and you get strange results - typically just no scrolling. Sometimes you've just got to give a little time back to the browser by wrapping things in setTimeout(scroll_stuff, 0).

While not quite the answer I was after, looked into doing it another way, and provided you can work with automatically generated Id's that you'll need to calculate based on the row number, the following is one brute force way of doing it (I've borrowed it from another SO question and kept the animation for fun - Referenced SO Link):

I'm trying to use the printing stuff in iOS 4.2 to print from my iPhone app, but I'm having real trouble getting multi-page content to display nicely. As you can see in the attached screenshots of PDFs generated through the iOS printing API, UIMarkupTextPrintFormatter really likes to use a painfully small top-margin when rendering.
Additionally, it doesn't seem to try to split block-elements too nicely either ... it's tough to see in the screenshot but the page break actually occurs halfway through a table row, rather than on a border between rows.
I've tried using the CSS #page directives to specify page boundaries, however iOS Webkit doesn't seem to support these at all.
Does anyone know of any techniques, either in HTML or through the iOS SDK to make these top-margins bigger?
I really don't want to write a custom UIPrintPageRenderer class because I'm trying to give my users the ability to customize their printouts through HTML templates ... going with a custom renderer would almost certainly make this impossible (or really difficult).
Any help is much appreciated!
You're on the right track with UIPrintPageRenderer, but fortunately you don't need to write a custom subclass to do this. All you need to do is instantiate a vanilla UIPrintPageRenderer, set the headerHeight and footerHeight properties, and add your HTML formatter to the renderer using addPrintFormatter:startingAtPage:.
