Can't find any usable display type - mit-scheme

I have just installed mit-scheme in Centos running in VirtualBox. But whenever I was trying to start Edwin editor by calling the procedure (edit) or (edwin), an error message like "Can't find any usable display type" returned. Can any one walk me through this?

Register `Distant` nvim plugin with Packer

In my vim plugins I added use { 'chipsenkbeil/distant.nvim' } and it appears to have installed because when I run :DistantLaunch it recognizes it as a command but asks me to include a host.
But when I run
:DistantLaunch <the-remote-host
I get the error:
ck/packer/start/impatient.nvim/lua/impatient/profile.lua:247: attempt to index a nil value
Which is interestingly printed out twice.
I'm wondering if I'm not understanding the installation process correctly or trying to do something that doesn't actually make sense. (I also installed the binary directly on my computer)
Distant repo.

Connect PostgreSQL to HammerDB

As the title says, I want to connect PostgreSQL (I'm using the 9.6 x86 version) to HammerDB, an open source database load testing and benchmarking tool (I'm interested in the TPC-C Benchmark).
The thing is that I can do this connection by using MS SQL Server (2014), because it is relatively easy. However, I'm not used to use PostgreSQL. When I try to create Virtual Users on HammerDB (that's the 1st step to do, then you should be able to perform the transactions) I get the following error:
Error in Virtual User 1: Failed to load Pgtcl - Postgres Library Error
I did some research about this, and I found that, and I quote "PostgreSQL is VERY particular about the libraries in its PATH - they have to be the right ones and ONLY the right ones any other configuration will cause errors".
The problem is that HammerDB couldn't load library libpgtcl.dll. There they mention that to fix the problem, one should check that the PostgreSQL bin directory has been added to the path during install, but at this point I'm totally lost and I don't know what to do. I simply canĀ“t get what they mean and how to do it.
I hope at least one of you could help me. I would appreciate it a lot.
Sorry in advance for my mistakes in English, I'm a Spanish speaker.
Well, I have solved the problem, and it is very simple.
Everything is about Setting Windows PATH for PostgreSQL, and I found that here.
Open my Computer ==>
right click inside my computer and select properties ==>
Click on Advanced System Settings ==>
Environment Variables ==>
from the System Variables box select "PATH" ==>
Edit... ==>
Then add this at the end of whatever you find their
;C:\PostgreSQL\9.2\bin; C:\PostgreSQL\9.2\lib
after that continue to click OK
That's all. So this is what you should do if you are having trouble when trying to connect PostgreSQL to HammerDB, and in general, when trying to use PostgreSQL tools.

import matlab.engine hangs (R2016a)

I'm trying to use the Matlab Engine API for Python and I installed using standard procedure on Matlab's site.
However, it takes forever and doesn't show any prompts.
Until I manually break and exit.
Any installation issues that I'm missing here?
I don't get an error message either.
The "unknown error" that is displayed is after I provide a keyboard interrupt.

Netbeans IDE trouble

I have just installed Netbeans on a Windows 8 computer and it seems to work (mostly) correct. When I try to run a C program I have created in the IDE (to debug), it compiles without error but during the run phase returns the message ... "Cannot find /tmp, please create". I thought this might be a permissions problem but couldn't see anything out of joint there. Any advice? Anyone run into this problem?

Runtime Error in Visual Simulation Environment - Microsoft Robotics Studio

I am using Microsoft Robotics Studio for a school project and I am getting a strange error when I try to run the Visual Simulation Environment. It was working fine until yesterday and then suddenly it gave me a runtime error saying "Illegal command line arguments... do not use VPLHost directly, use dsshost instead to run a manifest" But I am only clicking on Run in VPL/DSS Manifest editor.
I am running MRDS as administrator and I even tried re-installing MRDS but it is still showing the same MS VPL Runtime error. I tried to search online, but cannot find any suitable solution.
I already tried running the existing samples, I.e. Urban Environment, Multiple Simulated Robots etc. but it still gives me the same error. The strange thing is that it was working perfectly one minute, and then started giving me this error message the next minute, when I had not changed anything in between. In fact, I had wanted to change something in my manifest, so I closed the running VPL application, closed VPL and opened DSS manifest editor, and ran my manifest and that is when I got this error.
What is going wrong? Is some MRDS script using vplhost32.exe instead of dsshost? If so, then where and how do I change it?
I tried running the urban envrionment manifest from the command prompt and Using DSSHost32 directly. This time, it didn't give me a runtime error but an intiialization error. I tried changing port numbers but it still doesn't work. I have deleted many files from my computer to free space (JIC) and it still doesn't work. The window just doesn't open even when I hover over it in Windows 7.
The error message looks like this: Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted."
This was even after I checked netstat for free ports and tried but I get this error message. Its either this one or the "Don't use VPLHost directly" if I run it through VPL or DSS Manifest Editor.
Could it be that some external services are interfering with DSSHost/VPLHost? Are there any such services which I could try killing? ANY help/suggestion would help right now as my project is due Thursday and this is a really unfortunate time for it to be acting up like this.
Does the problem reproduce after logging off & logging back on? It's likely that you had a process hanging around that you weren't aware of. Logging off should shut down any processes you personally started.
I don't know the solution of your problem, but it would be better that you post your question on the link below:
http://p2p.wrox.com/book-professional-microsoft-robotics-studio-isbn-978-0-470-14107-6-410/
[official forum for the book : Professional Microsoft Robotics Studio], i hope you will shortly get reply there,
The other option is to post your question on the msdn forum,

hope this would help....
