When I add any contact to AddressBook, birthday and anniversary date get change when timezone is changed. But anniversary date getting change !!! not a good sign :).
I checked some third party apps they also have same problem.
But when I checked with FB its working fine.
installed FB app on device with version ios6.
In settings enabled contacts for FB to sync.
When I change timezone the date's in contacts that are synced form FB do not change but what I add from my app will get change.
What format should be used to write date, so that it should not change based on timezone. As I see with Facebook app now.
Any contact synced from FB to local AB can not be edited. Is this is the reason that dates are not getting changed for contacts that are added from FB.
Thanks in Advance.

My app is in ready for sale state on 13th apr. 2016 but still not reflecting on app store. it's 48 hours complete. In itunes connect it showing Ready for sale and I've not set any Available date for release this version.
One of the reason for this can be you are in a country where your app is not available. Go to iTunes Connect :
My Apps -> Select Your App -> Pricing and Availability -> Availability -> Edit
Check if your countries check box is selected. If not and you want app to be available in your country then select the check box and save the changes.
By default your app should be available world-wide, but it's still a valid point.
Another issue could be that you still have to sign/agree to the distribution agreement (if it's a paid app).
It would certainly help us to answer your question, if we could get a link to your app. Is it a brand new app or an update? Also what happens, if you click on the link direct in iTunes Connect? (Under App Store Information / App Information)
Finally i resolve this by make simple text change in what's new text and save it after 1-2 hours it reflect on app store.
The default link I got for my iOS app from iTunes Connect looks like this:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/name/id1234566789?ls=1&mt=8
Does the /us/ part mean that link will always show the US AppStore or will it automatically redirect to the AppStore of the users country? Should I remove that part from the link?
Yes.
This will bring up the US store every time, ignoring the user's location.
What you can do is to delete us/. That will always show the app store with user-location-based region.
Hope that helps :)
I developed iOS app, and I uploaded binary of my app on 19th August 2013.
Today(23rd August 2013) I got mail from Apple saying that "your app is Ready for sale" with Green dot in my iTunes Connect. but it doesnot show any links to my app in in App Store in my iTunes Connect account
This is my first version of app,
Here is screenshot of my rights and pricing section from my iTunes Connect account.
How should I live my app in app store or it will be automatically live in the store ?
:
Thanks in advance.
Just happened to me too.
Go back into app description, and make a simple
edit. Save it.
Two minutes later it will be ready for sale.
I might be wrong, can't remember connect that well, been a few months since I last published an app.
Check the following:
Price Tier Selected
That you have selected some countries stores where you would like the app to be sold (distributed)
Lastly it might take about 24 hours for the app to propagate to all app stores.
Check again tomorrow on the store. Your release date does look in order since it is a historic date.
From Apple's FAQ:
My app status is Ready for Sale but I cannot see my app on the App
Store. Why? The following factors could prevent your app from showing
up on the App Store:
Make sure to check the status of your agreements. If the agreement
status is Pending Contract, you may have to agree to the PLA or Paid
Applications agreement or complete the associated bank and tax
information for that agreement.
Make sure the availability date
provided in the Rights and Pricing section is prior to today's date.
If the date provided in the Rights and Pricing section is in the past,
make sure you made your app available in at least one App Store
territory.
If your app was scheduled to go live within the last 24
hours, the app may still be updating in the App Store cache. Once the
24-hour caching window has passed, close and open iTunes and search
for your app again. You can also click View in the App Store from the
More tab on your app's page in My Apps.
If you have checked the factors above and the app is still not on the
App Store, contact us.
As "Apfelsaft" says, any pending contractual conditions can block the availability of the app in the store. This is my case.
I faced the same issue.
No need to wait, just go to the App Description, make a small update.
Then in less than 5 minutes, the app is available.
I have uploaded a new app to iTunes connect and set the release date to 20th January, as content for the app is retrieved from a webserver and I didn't think the website would be complete until this date.
However I'm ready to release the application to the app store now but cant find a way of doing so, I have gone into 'Rights and Pricing' and changed the availability date to today but my app status is still 'Ready for Sale' and nothing else has changed.
How can I release my app before my scheduled release date?
This can be done. and I was correct in the way I did it above, however Apple don't give you any message to say it will be released early or that your changes have been saved or anything.
It was live this morning in the app store!
Is there an easy way to recover the app purchase date? Or must I save it myself the first time an app is opened?
You'll need to save it yourself the first time the app opens.
The date in the iTunesMetaData.plist changes whenever the user downloads an update and I don't think Apple would let you access file this anyway.
