URL with multiple anchor tag - tags

I have to build the URL that point directly to expedia review.
I think the best solution is to append to the URL multiple Anchor tag ID.
something like this:
http://www.expedia.it/Padova-Hotel-Hotel-M14.h4214808.Hotel-Information#reviews#BVRRDisplayContentReviewID_39211683
But it doesn't work, this url doesn't go directly to the user review.
Appending #reviews at the end of the URL the page tab is correct but i have to go directly to the user review using ID anchor Tag.
http://www.expedia.it/Padova-Hotel-Hotel-M14.h4214808.Hotel-Information#reviews
Reviews ID is BVRRDisplayContentReviewID_39211683
Does anybody knows how to hack this?

You can't actually 'double-anchor'..
Best place to start is to read the existing share links they provide and then hack with
that:
http://reviews.expedia.com/6510-<country/language site>/<hotel id>/review/<review id>/redirect.htm
e.g.
http://reviews.expedia.com/6510-it_it/4214808/review/39312750/redirect.htm

Is it possible to create a canonical URL for pages with just a pageid in confluence?

I need to groups each space in the Piwik web analytics software. The cleanest way to do it would be if all URL´s had the spacekey in it, to allow each space-owner to easily get a complete view of their space and retain all functionality like browsing the site with an analytics overlay.
Some URL´s are canonical, however some just have an URL like /pages/viewpage.action?pageId=199921170
Is there some way through the AJS API or other method to find force a working URL in the form: /display/spacekey/title-of-page
The most important part is to have the spacekey in the URL. If there´s no workaround I might just generate an invalid URL by inserting spacekey and let each space-owner fix their page-titles if they want working analytics :-)
We are running Confluence version 5.10.7
(There´s an unresolved open issue on https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-11285 concerning the broader issue of sometimes having ugly URLs in confluence)
Instead of adding an incorrect URL, you could use a custom variable to record the space key, e.g.
_paq.push(['setCustomVariable','1','Space Key', AJS.params.spaceKey]);

Share anchor links

I want to make a button that shares links in this form:
http://example.com/#anchor
but when i click it, it shares only
http://example.com
How could I make it share what I want?
This is very simple; your URL string you want to share should be like this: http://www.domain.com/hello.html%23myanchor
The %23 will be transformed by Facebook into a #.
Your question is not very detailed and it's not easy to understand exactly what it is you're asking for..
Since the share functionaliy was deprecated I assume that you are talking about the Like button.
As you can see in that page you can put what ever url you want into the "URL to Like" field, then click the "Get Code" button and use that code in your page.
You can put the code in any page, so if your page is: "example.com/#anchor" you can still have the button like "http://example.com" or the other way around.
If however you want the user to like "example.com/#anchor" but when someone clicks on the liked link he will get to "example.com" then it's not possible.
I just thought about this (because I have the same problem).
My idea is to share a php link with a variable, let's call it 'a' for anchor, which is the anchor without # so that facebook won't remore it.
Thus you share the link:
http://www.mywebpa.ge/?a=anchor1
Then you just have to recover the value of 'a' with php and add a little script which makes you go to the anchor.
I hope it will help you.

Facebook like button counting problem

I have installed facebook like button with javascript solution.
I left the href attribute empty so it will use the current url for counting. It seems that right now , even after changing the href attribute , facebook is counting the like on my entire website.
Example:
1. domain.com/fb_url
2. domain.com/fb_url2
If you will like the first url , you will be able to see the likes on the second url.
Why not putting into the href attribute the absolute URL of the page? I guess this will fix the issue. This can be easily achieved in whatever language you use. Please post the code you are using so that we can provide further help.
If you used og:url tag, you although have to change it on each page.

Facebook App Setup

I created FB application that use iframes, and it's working okay, as it should, BUT I need to check from what page is calling it.
I want different pages to pass different variables to that iframe location.
I already know how to set up it to three levels ( original page, application page, and on tab page, with different display content ), but I need to check from what page it's called.
I am thinking that it can be done in 2 ways:
1 way: Find way to pass specific variable based on page that is using this application as tab, and then redirect it to right location
2 way: Find way to create new application outside facebook ( maybe API or something ) and then enter all those values including: App name, app link that have this variable included, app tab link, using iframe and not FBML...
I will love to use 2. way...
I'm not asking you to show me code, I know that I need to do my job, I'm not asking you to do it for me, I'm just asking for help, for directions from someone who already create something like this, to point me to right direction where can I find way...
Also, please don't tell me to read bunch of stuffs, like FB Documentation or whole book that have all other "not-used-here" stuffs, I need specific part where there is a word about this...
If someone know anything about this, write it here...
Thank you!
The "page" parameter is passed along within the "new" signed_request parameter on (iframe) tabs. You get what you need for "free" ;)
page: A JSON object containing the page
id string, the liked boolean if the
user has liked the page, the admin
boolean if the user is an admin. Only
available if your app is an iframe
loaded in a Page tab.

Is it possible to bookmark an alternate URL

When a user tries to bookmark one of my pages, I really want it to bookmark a different URL (in my case a tel:// URL -- on the iPhone). Is there a meta tag or something I can use to specify that the browser bookmark an alternate URL?
Sure you can, here is how you can do it:
For exemple:
Click here to add my site to your bookmark.
Does this help you ?
