I am using TinyMCE editor for my application.
I want to have my body and the presentation toolbar on screen with "readonly".
readonly:true
makes the presentation bar disable which is not acceptable by client (needs both content area and toolbar).
I successully made the:
body.contentEditable = false;
which works good but when i click any of the presentation icon or button it gives the effect like when i click bold it makes the document text bold which should not.
You may add the following to undo the changes in the editor and execute it onchange_callback.
//undo all the changes in the editor
tinyMCE.activeEditor.undoManager.undo();
//remove all undo levels so there will no possibility of redoing last action
tinyMCE.activeEditor.undoManager.clear();
Here is a DEMO
Hope it helps!!

Is it possible to add icons to the left or right side for Content Elements? I would like to move some of the functionality from the contextMenu to the icon bar, is that possible? Perhaps by TSConfig ? See attachment.
Several options exist for multiple TYPO3 versions and depending on where you would prefer to add the copy/cut icon, or indeed, any other icon you might wish:
Before 10.3 and without fluid-based page layout module:
$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['SC_OPTIONS']['GLOBAL']['recStatInfoHooks']
$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['SC_OPTIONS']['cms/layout/class.tx_cms_layout.php']['tt_content_drawFooter']
$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['SC_OPTIONS']['cms/layout/class.tx_cms_layout.php']['tt_content_drawItem'] through $outHeader variable.
After 10.3 with fluid-based page layout module:
All of the above, plus
Overlay of template EXT:backend/Resources/Private/Partials/PageLayout/Record/Header.html, or
Overlay of template EXT:backend/Resources/Private/Partials/PageLayout/Record/Footer.html, or
Overlay of template EXT:backend/Resources/Private/Partials/PageLayout/Record.html depending on where you want the icon to be placed
These should provide you with every conceivable option for adding the icon precisely where you wish it to be added. TYPO3 10.3 with fluid based page module enabled provides you with the createst flexibility. Earlier versions or with fluid based page module disabled should probably use $GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['SC_OPTIONS']['GLOBAL']['recStatInfoHooks'].
I personaly wouldn't add too many button visible by default on the top right of each content, because it will unnecessarily overloads the amount of information on the page module with action buttons that are not the most often used.
In particular, the "paste" button should only appears when there is something in the clipboard, and it now appears everywhere you can paste (you can see one above the content in your screenshot).

Normally I can select the layer I want then select the text tool and edit it but for some reason, after putting in some key frames so the texts fades in and out I can't seem to select the text to edit.
I've locked all the other layers so only the text layer I want to edit is editable but I can't change it. All I can do is move it about.
I know this question is old but for future searchers - I think this is a bug so I don't have a "solution", but a workaround.
To make a change to your text:
Switch to 'Code View',
Search (ctrl + F) for your text
Change your text
Switch back to design view
This is a hack, but its the best option - especially if you've already invested lots of time into this and now find yourself stuck.
Okay, I figured out the actual bug causing this and have a solution that is less of a hack. The reason you can't select text is because there are visible layers above your text layer blocking your click. You would assume that if those visible layers are locked, you can click through but that isn't how Google Web Designer works (right now).
So, make all layers invisible, then make just your text layer visible and then you can click to edit it.
I have encounter this problem when editing a template. I could only edit the text of first layer... In order to edit the second layer text and so on you must hide the fist layer.
I have just found out there is another way: Try to copy all layers to a new document with the same preferences. sometimes it`s rather easier than change the code
The JavaFX 2 colour picker has a button that pops up a colour chooser pane like so:
I'd like to do something similar, in that I'd like a custom pane to pop up when the button is clicked on and disappear when something else is clicked (in my case, a few image thumbnails). What would be the best way of achieving this? Should I use a ContextMenu and add a pane to a MenuItem somehow, or is there something else I should look at?
It's kind of difficult to do well with the current JavaFX 2.2 API.
Here are some options.
Use a MenuButton with a graphic set in it's MenuItem
This is the approach taken in Button with popup showed below's executable sample code.
Use a PopupControl
Take a look at how the ColorPicker does this in it's code.
ColorPicker extends PopupControl. You could do this, but not all of the API required to build your own PopupControl is currently public. So, for JavaFX 2.2, you would have to rely on internal com.sun classes which are deprecated and will be replaced by public javafx.scene.control classes in JDK8.
Use a ContextMenu
So, I think your idea to "use a ContextMenu and add a pane to a MenuItem" is probably the best approach for now. You should be able to do this by using a CustomMenuItem or setting a graphic on a normal MenuItem. The ContextMenu has nice relative positioning logic. A ContextMenu can also be triggered by a MenuButton.
Use a Custom Dialog
To do this, display a transparent stage at a location relative to the node.
There is some sample code to get you started which I have temporarily linked here.
The sample code does relative positioning to the sides of the main window, but you could update it to perform positioning relative to the sides of a given node (like the ContextMenu's show method).
Use a Glass Pane
To do this, create a StackPane as your root of your main window. Place your main content pane as the first node in the StackPane and then create a Group as the second node in the stackpane, so that it will layer over the top of the main content. Normally, the top group contains nothing, but when you want to show your popup, place it in the top group and translate it to a location relative to the appropriate node in your main content.
You could look at how the anchor nodes in this demo are used to see how this might be adaptable to your context.
Is there a relevant update for this for JavaFX8?
There is not much difference of relevance for Java 8, in general the options are as outlined in this post based on Java 2.2 functionality. Java 8 does add Dialog and Alert functionality, but those are more targeted at use of dialogs with borders, titles and buttons rather than the kind of functionality desired in the question. Perhaps you might be able to start from the Dialog class and heavily customize it to get something close to what is needed, but you are probably better off starting from a blank stage or PopupControl instead.
I'm creating a popup panel whit same text, i would like to disable the background and make it grey. I read about setGlassEnabled but it doesn't work, can someone help? ps. the popup is correctly visualized.
PopupPanel popup = new PopupPanel(infoType);
popup.center();
popup.setGlassEnabled(true);
popup.show();
The glass panel has no default style, so it's transparent by default. If you want the background to be grayed out, you need to add some CSS styling to the glass panel.
Also, setGlassEnabled only enables the glass panel for the next time the popup is shown, and in your case, the popup is already showing when you call show (because of the previous call to center), so it's a no-op and the glass panel actually isn't used. Move your call to center to after the call to setGlassEnabled and/or call hide before setGlassEnabled.
Putting the following code at the top of your dialog constructor appears to fix the issue for me.
setGlassEnabled(true);
Style glassStyle = getGlassElement().getStyle();
glassStyle.setProperty("width", "100%");
glassStyle.setProperty("height", "100%");
glassStyle.setProperty("backgroundColor", "#000");
glassStyle.setProperty("opacity", "0.45");
glassStyle.setProperty("mozOpacity", "0.45");
glassStyle.setProperty("filter", " alpha(opacity=45)");
The javadoc for setGlassEnabled() is a bit misleading by saying that "the background will be blocked with a semi-transparent pane". In fact all it will do is apply a full-screen div with a default style name of 'gwt-PopupPanelGlass' (as of GWT 2.4, at least). If, say, your project <inherits> a theme such as com.google.gwt.user.theme.clean.Clean, then clean.css supplies the semi-transparent pane you were expecting:
.gwt-PopupPanelGlass {
background-color: #000;
opacity: 0.3;
filter: alpha(opacity=30);
}
Otherwise, as previously described, you'll have to roll your own.
I am making a vertical Menu using GWT MenuBar and selection of particular MenuItem shows content on the right, I am trying to make something similar to TabPanel, but with Tabs on left instead of being on top. Now, since I've got the Menu items and actions in place, I want to remove the effect of hovering over and changing color, and keep that menu item selected which was clicked last and whose content is loaded on the right.
I am open to any comments, if you have a better solution to implement this, using some other components(with-in) GWT, please drop in a comment with your suggestions, I'll really appreciate that.
Or if you can just tell me how can I disable this effect, of hovering and sticking to only that selection, That would be awesome too..
Thanks to everyone, taking time to read this and suggesting a solution.
It's all defined in the CSS of your GWT's theme (probably the default one), so it's a matter of overriding those styles - make sure it's not the other way around :) Inspect the code with a tool like Firebug to see what's exactly being set and change that.
