I've seen many apps which link buttons to the SKStoreProductViewController to download a specific app or specific music. This is how it is built and looks like:
I already know that it is possible to gift you app through a link to the appstore application like HERE. Now I want to know: " Is it possible to gift your app through this controller?" I wondered because many apps use this SKStoreProductViewController to download specific apps through an ad or something similar.
I would be glad if someone know if it's possible and maybe how...
Thanks in advance.
As far as the documentation goes - you can't do that.

I am new to iPhone apps development, I want share and like button on google plus for my application, searched in web, but i got many links were pointing to developer.google.com etc. from there i downloaded SDK, but am not able to write code for that.
Please give some example code.
Thanks in advance.
there is a post here, which describes what you plan to do...
How can I integrate Google Plus with iPhone sdk?
I am looking for tools that I can attach to the app that would allow me to test the user interface. I was thinking about something like a click map to see where users are touching in the application, or any other visual tools that help improving the touch and feel of the app. I am not referring to analytics like Flurry or Localytics. I am looking for something more like crazyegg.com but for iphone apps.
I am using heatma.ps in my apps. It lets you test where people touch in you application, which buttons are used more then other. It's pretty good about showing you what gestures users make on your application screen, like if they are trying to scroll down.
You would be surprised how people use your interface. I know I was shocked the first time I found that people don't see the help button that I spend hours to implement with help snippets. Oh well, people are different :-)
i am developing a ebook reader app for iPad and i am facing a issue related to the design aspects of the bookshelf. I am posting a sample photo of my bookshelf here. I want the book shelf to have a horizontal navigation similar to that of the iBooks. Will this come under violation of Apple's HIG?? Will they consider this design to be a imitation of their iBooks design and reject it?? I'm worried...
Sadly they are not consistent about rejection. Good news they are more keen on their logos and device picture, so you can't use an iPhone/iPod in your app as picture for explain controls but sometimes you see apps like this. I am not developer myself but friends of mine and blogs about the topic says this. Thats why I didn't pay $99 for being a developer.
Your app resemble to Apple's app but in real life book shelves are resemble to each other, so we can call them the same. Bad thing: only by submitting it you will know they approve it or not...
Important thing, to kill all bug before this. If they approve it with the bug (that can happen), and then you want to update it, maybe they reject the updated version.
What I want to do is to make an iPhone application for my website similar to the photofunia. The users will be able to select an effect from a list, and then upload their own photo. Then the result will be shown in the browser where the user can save the image and/or publish to website like facebook, etc.
What software can I use to do that? Phonegap, appcelerator, etc? Can some of these help?
Thanks.
First of all, you may be able to make an iPhone app using Adobe Flash and the Adobe Packager for iPhone.
The other option is to get a Mac and Learn Objective-C.
There is no "easy" solution here.
Create a webservice for your website and try to use that in your iPhone Application
Of course I know there is no "easy" solution, but I'm almost sure there are other options for making iphone apps, instead of using Objective-C.
I only don't know the name of the tools.
Flash doesn't works. Adobe Air currently doesn't offer a way to access the camera roll on the ios.
Does anyone know of open source code available to implement a popup to the user after so many days or so many instances of the app to prompt the user to rate and review the app on the app store?
I've seen this already with a few apps I own.
Thanks in advance for your help.
This isn't ideal, i personally find it abit ugly, but it's easy to implement and reactivates when a new version is released and more importantly works.
