EXT.Net custom search combo box trigger on user hit ENTER - autocomplete

Is there any sample way to tell Ext.NET combo box to show auto-complete available values on user hit enter.
I really like advanced search sample of Ext.net combo box sample . In my customization I do data store from SQL and query for searching is pretty heavy ill love to try avoid auto triggering of result set.
My idea is to allow user to type in query string and hit enter or any hot-key and then to do logic of getting data from sql and allowing user to select available items in showed grid?
My environment is .net4, ASP.NET, WebForms, Ext.Net V2

Our colleges from Ext.Net helped me to solve problem

TriggerAction="Query">

<Listeners>
<SpecialKey Handler="
if (e.getKey() == e.ENTER) {
this.doQuery(this.getValue(), true);
}"></SpecialKey>
</Listeners>

vscode extension how to display a form

I wish to create a VSCode extension with an entry form on it - some way of input. So far I have only seen document processing or output for an extension.
How can you display a form of input fields in a vscode extension?
How much data do they need to enter? If it's not much, you should be able to handle it with a series of InputBoxes
From https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/extensionAPI/vscode-api
showInputBox(options?: InputBoxOptions): Thenable<string>
Opens an input box to ask the user for input.
The returned value will be undefined if the input box was canceled (e.g. pressing ESC). Otherwise the returned value will be the string typed by the user or an empty string if the user did not type anything but dismissed the input box with OK.
Parameter Description
options?: InputBoxOptions
Configures the behavior of the input box.
Returns Description
Thenable<string>
A promise that resolves to a string the user provided or to undefined in case of dismissal.
The Visual Studio Code API does not have any native methods to display forms to collect input. You can however, chain together Input Boxes, Quick Picks, etc... You can find all these methods under vscode.window.(...).
If these do not satisfy your needs you can implement a webview which allows you to render integrated HTML in Visual Studio Code and trade messages with the extension.
The most simple aproach would be to simple send all collected data from the form to the extension once you hit the submit button or something similar.
You have a nice little tutorial on how to do that here.
Another approach is to see how far you can go with editing JSON objects in settings.json. I thought I would need a form for 8-10 fields, but it turns out that I can create a settings template that has a series of labels and and entry fields (with type validation).

Setting the controlsource value of a listbox using Properties Window

I am new to VBA and am currently still studying the most basic ideas of the language. I haven't gotten that far in my VBA Code studies to write the code I need by hand, so, in the mean time, I have been using the VBA Editor to enter Property Values via the Properties Window. This has been proving far more difficult than I anticipated. My Goal is to create a drop down list for a VBA Form. I understand one of my options is to reference a range of cells in my excel worksheet by inputting it into the value field located right of the ControlSource Property. My attempts to input the desired range always comes up with the same error:
Could not set the ControlSource Property. Invalid Property Value.
I have tried looking in the VBA Help files and even searched online. I haven't had any luck finding the proper syntax to enter into this field.
I am assuming I may run into similar issues as I try to set other property values through the Property Window. Thus, I am diligently studying my VBA courses so I can simply write the raw code. But that takes time and I need this form to work as soon as possible.
Is there anyone out there that wouldn't mind lending me their brain for a moment? I would be most grateful. Having this working would bring a lot of stress off of me.
Thanks for reading!
What tigeravatar mentioned, works fine for me, for the ComboBox as well for the ListBox.
If I enter =a1:b5 into the ComboBox' RowSource, I see the values of the cells if I open the form and the Combobox. Tigeravatar's notation with $ and sheet! may be more reliable for the productive version.
The RowSource is where the boxes get their displayed items from. The ControlSource is where the chosen value finally is linked to. So if I write just A10 to the ControlSource, then open the form, then pick a value, close the form, I see the chosen value filled to the Excelsheet field A10.
Sometimes it helps to start a fresh UserForm and to add some simple fresh controls. If you seek around, you will probably alter property values that influence the behaviour in an unexpected way, and then you get lost. I have tested with Office 2010. If you have another version, it may be important to forum readers to know.

Alter input of form before it is submitted

I'm creating a multilingual Drupal site and trying to implement a search function, that only displays results in the current language, that the user is viewing the site through.
Using Drupals own searchfunction at /search/node it is possible to select which language to search for through the "Advanced search" options, and it works perfectly. However, I dont want to expose these language selectboxes, I just want it to only search in the current language automatically.
What's the best option to do this?
I have one solution where I create a hook_form_alter function, that sets the #default_value in the language selectboxes to the current language, and then I hide the whole "advanced options" with in css. This doesnt seem very right though.
I think the most clean solution would be to hook into Drupals form-processing process and append ex "language:en" to the input text, but I cannot get this to work.
Does anyone know if it is possible via one of the Drupal form related alter functions, to get a hold of the input text and alter it before drupal does its final processing of it?
To answer your question specifically, while using 'hook_form_alter', you have a referenced variable called '$form_state'. This stores the values in the form, and any change there will be passed further.
Also,
I think setting a default value and hiding the field is a good solution as any, only, if you are hiding it you should do it server side, while altering the form. The same field you are setting the default value to. like this:
$fieldname['#type'] = 'hidden'.

Salesforce: Auto-complete for Lookup field

I have a custom object known as "Companies".I have created a lookup field in a Visual Force page which gives me the list of companies name from the custom object " Companies".I have written a code which makes this lookup field auto-complete like what you have seen in the image attached.(First pic)
The problem: I don't know how to make the lookup field (which takes the list of companies name from custom object" Companies" in "Opportunities" standard object) auto-complete as done in the visual force page. Basically want the field highlighted in yellow in the second picture to auto-complete or give relevant suggestion when I type the first few characters.
Any help on this matter would be appreciated. Thank you
Have you tied enabling Auto Complete for your custom object the search page?
Click Your Name | Setup | Customize | Search | Search Settings.
Check the Lookup Auto-completion check box for your object.
This will give you auto-complete options for recently used items.
http://help.salesforce.com/help/doc/en/search_lookupdialog.htm#auto_complete
You will not be able to embed this customization into a standard page layout like you're using for the Opportunity object in your second screenshot. If that auto-complete is a must-have, then you really only have two options:
Replace the entire Opportunity page layout with a custom VF page
Write a VF component with just the Company lookup field in it and embed it into your Opportunity page layout (this will have to be in its own section, which probably won't look as nice)
This is what you want - http://tapp.ly/autocomplete/
Autocomplete Lookups for Salesforce enables any Salesforce Lookup field to support autocomplete suggestions. Autocomplete Lookups helps your users enter lookup fields reducing data entry tasks and error rates.
Salesforce records suggested as you start typing
Search All fields (Standard Salesforce Lookups only let you search by the Name field)
Results can show any field (E.g. Case Subject rather than Case Number)

Selenium IDE: Problem to record input value with dynamic security prefix

I want to use selenium to record and click at item in a page with the following code:
<input type="checkbox" onclick="HighlightRow(1, this, 3,"");" value="916242540932034325|628149" name="AID">
in Selenium IDE, recorded script:
click
//input[#name='AID' and #value='916242540932034325|628149']
However, the value 916242540932034325|628149
having security prefix "916242540932034325" which will change dynamically every time the page load.
Problems: My Recorded Script not able to RUN after page load due to the dynamic security prefix.
Help: Anyone have any suggestion for the problems I face above?
Try click //input[#name='AID' and contains(#value, '|628149')]. As long as that's a unique combination of NAME and VALUE, you'll get what you want.
