SSRS 2008 rendering of HTML markup (does not allow .xml links) - ssrs-2008

I am trying to create links to infopath forms stored in sharepoint. This is MOSS 3 so they are not web based forms. If I create a link through HTML markup within a placeholder it renders fine until I make it a .xml extension. I'm using HTML markup because they need to display in Outlook 2007 too. Am I missing some way to make this work?
=" test "
^works fine
=" test "
^doesn't appear

The solution is:
Drop the space between ...Form and &...

I've copied your xml url and in SSRS 2008R2 works fine (Can't test it in SSRS 2008).
Maybe you should try to use Action->Go To Url instead of HTML murkup?

Just to update my issue here as it was more complicated then I thought. Here's a reference to the issue. It has nothing to with xml links or spacing. It's actually working links that it fails to render, incorrect links to error pages work fine. (confusing? I know, right?) The javascript solution didn't work for me b/c I need it to work with Outlook 2007. What finally worked was reversing the slashes e.g.
http:\\sharepoint

Template-based PDF renderer for flutter web

I am writing a Flutter web application that needs to have a customizable template for printing reports: inside the template there will be some placeholders that must be replaced with data at the moment of printing. The "printing" itself will be done by having the user download and open a PDF file, then print it through the browser, the OS or anything else, but that's beyond the scope, at the moment.
The default template would be something like this, where <BUYER_DATA> and <TRANSACTION_DATA> will be replaced with the data of the transaction the user is printing, along with some other "technical" tags (i.e., the page number and the pages count):
Header with site name
727 Chester Rd New Trafford, Stretford
Manchester
<BUYER_DATA>
01-12-2022 14:40
<TRANSACTION_DATA>
AppName - TM 2022
Page <PAGE_NO> of <PAGES_COUNT>
The user is allowed to edit this template in any aspect (boldness, size, colors, etc), provided that the tags related to the data are not removed from it.
So, to achieve this, I added a WYSIWYG html editor inside a page in order to save the template as an HTML-formatted string. And this works fine: only then I realized that the well-known flutter printing library doesn't support conversion from HTML directly to PDF on web, and all my plans began to crumble.
I then tried to discover if there's some other way to achieve the same by replacing the HTML template with something else, like markdown, but it seems that there's nothing that could help me.
The question is: anybody knows of a package capable of converting from HTML, markdown or such, directly into PDF?
I just need to know so I can stop googling around and decide to write my own parser for the HTML and convert it into a series of Widgets of the before-mentioned printing package.

How can I "drill down" into a website using Perl's WWW::Mechanize

I have used the WWW::Mechanize Perl module on a number of projects and it's helped me out a lot.
I am trying to use it on a different site and I can't "drill down" into the content of the site.
The site is https://customer.bookingbug.com/?client=hantsrecyclingcentres#/services
I have tried figure out what the URL would be to get content shown in the resulting HTML, such as bb.d570283b87c834518ba9.css, bb.d570283b87c834518ba9.js and version.js
I tried to copy the resulting HTML into this posting, but used all sorts of quote and code sample combinations and it wouldn't display properly.
Does anyone have any idea how I "navigate" this site using this Perl module please?
WWW::Mechanize is a web client with some HTML parsing capabilities. But as you clearly noticed, the information you want is not in the HTML document you requested. Either download the correct document (whatever that might be), or do what the browser does and execute the JavaScript. This would require a JavaScript engine. The simplest way to achieve that is to remote-control a web browser (e.g. using Selenium::Chrome).

TinyMCE converting ampersand in querystring to HTML entity

Edit: My assumptions about encoding were incorrect. I'm leaving the question as originally asked in case others come here with the same misunderstanding.
When I include a link in some text in the editor that includes a querystring, then view the source code, I can see that it's converted any & characters in the href to &, which breaks the links.
A link
becomes
A link
and if I change it back to just & in the source, click Ok on the view source dialog, then immediately view source again, it's already worked its charms and encoded the & once again.
Is there a way to cue the editor to go ahead and convert those outside tag attributes, but not mess with those in attributes?
Using an older version (4.0.12), but I see the behavior on the current live sample right on tinymce.com, so if it's a bug it looks like it hasn't been fixed. But I am wondering if it's just a setting I'm missing.
Relevant questions:
Do I encode ampersands in <a href...>?
Do ampersands still need to be encoded in URLs in HTML5?
The HTML spec actually states that ampersands in HTML attributes have to be encoded so TinyMCE is working 100% as it should. If your server side code is not handling that correctly that is an issue with the server side code.

Can birt support reading html tables from database and displaying them dynamically to a pdf report file?

I have come across a scenario where I have to read html data from database and display it in pdf reports. This html data also contains table structure <table></table> tags and other html element inside it. Previously we used jasper reports for our reporting needs but recently as we came to know that the above functionality is not supported in jasper, I wanted to know which reporting tool can be used so that it can be incorporated with servoy. Does birt provide this functionality?
AFAIK none of the well-known reporting tools does support this, although in BIRT it works "somehow" - but not good enough to be usable.
The reason for this is simple, I think: A reporting tool would have to incorporate a complete browser engine like WebKit or others to achieve this, because it would have to "understand" the structure for its page-breaking algorithm.
Yes, BIRT has a text element where we can set the display type to HTML. If the html table is in a dataset field you will just have to include it in the expression of the text using "value-of" tag, something like this:
<VALUE-OF format="HTML">row["htmlTableField"]</VALUE-OF>
PDF format is taking such html elements into account, including most of simple style settings such background color, text-align, borders etc.
Usually the reports render just fine with html.
There are some tricks to displaying html correctly in BIRT.
You may use a Dynamic Text element and set to html or auto.
Here are some tricks to handling free form text..
Make sure your xml is valid, I recommend replacing line breaks or you may catch a scenario where the rptdocument will not export.
Also, if possible keep these in auto layout, when using run + render. The page breaks may actually be calculated once on run and again on render. You might experience breaking issues with fixed. The page may attempt to display all the html prior to breaking a page when using the RUN() phase, in web viewer or the rptdocument. Then when rendering to pdf the the breaks are applied differently, with fixed layout.

How to edit content more easily?

i add content to my confluence page like a html
inside {html} tags. This page will be changed in future every week. It very difficult to understand html so quick for people who never don't work with html.
Is there any way in confluence to add a simple user interface form which helps to edit information inside html?
I know that confluence have embedded jQuery can anybody give advice how to do it better?
Thanks
Use the scaffolding plugin to Show only some special text fields for editing. Then you can hide the HTML code. But scaffolding is not ready for Confluence 4
http://wiki.customware.net/repository/display/AtlassianPlugins/Scaffolding+Plugin
You could download the page with Atlassian CLI, and parse out the section of html you want to modify, put that in your wysiwyg, and then inject it back into the downloaded html and post it back.
Of course it is as fun as it sounds.
An example of the content would help to answer this question.
One option is to put your content in a word .doc file, save it, upload it to the page. Use the office connector macro to display the content of the .doc on the page. The office connector plugin is free.
Note that Confluence V5 editor now has a basic set of editing features found in Microsoft Word.
