png shows up in browser but not email clients - email

This is a strange problem, one that I haven't encountered before. I've created a header img for an email template in AI and exported it as a RGB png-8. When I view the template in a browser, it and all other images in the email show up fine. But when I send the email to my outlook, the header that I created doesn't show up, even though all other images (also png-8s) do. I've checked the color profiles for the new image against the other images, and they are the same.
Has anyone else ever encountered this problem? Any experts on saving ping files for web from AI out there?

Problem resolved. Strange cache issue - images residing on different servers.

Make sure your image is in RGB not in CMYK.

TinyMCE 4.3 - how to get Image Tools to save edited images as files

I don't manage to get the Image Tools plugin to actually upload the images to the server. I upload images with the jbimages plugin with no problem. But when a picture is edited with the Image Tools, although there's the uploading bar, which gets to 100%, it seems that it's only uploaded as a blob. The page calls the tinymce.activeEditor.uploadImages() function when submitting the form data, but it doesn't work.
I use the 'postacceptor.php' file from the example (defined in 'images_upload_url') and the 'images_upload_base_path' is defined as well.
The files are not uploaded to the server, and the img src remains a blob.
What could the problem be?
Thanks!
What debugging have you done in your PHP code? Is the code being triggered? Does the file appear in the posted content? You need to narrow down where in the process things are failing.
Is the issue that TinyMCE is not posting the edited image or is the issue that the image is posted and the PHP code is not properly saving the image and returning valid JSON?
How did you configure TinyMCE?
Does an edited image get posted to your server code?
What is in that form post?
If you disable the jbImages plugin does that change anything?
Without more details it will be very difficult to help you figure this out.

Exporting, archiving, or saving ExactTarget mails

To preface this I'm not an ExactTarget expert.... We use ExactTarget and are interested in more archiving our email newsletters so that our subscribers can later use our articles as a reference. We have an archive folder set up in the exact target system, but that is not customer-facing and contains things like extra code.
As I understand it, the current process for archiving involves taking screenshots of the email that is sent out which is stitched together as a PDF. The PDF's are then stuck behind a password protected folder on a website.
Obviously, this is a hacky/low-tech way to do this.
Are there any ways to export these mails for archival purposes that people are using?
I am guessing from the above that you are using the premade templates and creating content using the Exact Target WYSIWYG editor. From there I am assuming also that these articles are in content boxes and HOPEFULLY each 'article' is in a single content box.
If so, then your best bet is to go to the HTML tab on this box and copy that code there and have this inserted onto your company blog (or website if you do not have a blog). Your network admin or website designer will likely know the best way to insert these snippets of code to fit the layout and navigation of the site.
If your message is not personalized, or if so you mdke a generic recipient in your list, you may be able to use the 'view as webpage' link to get the source code. Not sure if those links expire after X days or something though.I have never tried this or tested, but on most email sends there is a "view as webpage" link, maybe try taking one of these links and either hosting on your blog/site or using that link as a reference for your customers.
Using a PDF or screen shots is far from optimal as the content becomes an image and loses a lot of value.
Hope this helps.

Fancybox works locally but not when uploaded to server

Hi im hoping you guys can help me, I put together a fancybox gallery which works beautifully locally but when I uploaded it to server only 2 images work when clicked..Im at a loss as to why the others wont load, all images are in the same folder and paths are the same.
Any Ideas?
By using the browser debug tools, we can see that your server's returning "404 not found" errors for all the images. It looks like your image paths are img\thumb3.jpg; web servers use forward slashes as a path separator. If you change your gallery so the images are img/thumb3.jpg, it should all work fine.
The reason this works locally but not when uploaded is because you're working on Windows, and your web server probably isn't. :)

cannot find image of webite header in joomla

Am just beginning with joomla on a site that is already existing and was previously managed by someone else who is not available at the moment. I am trying to troubleshoot a problem why the website is displaying the header differently in different PCs but I am not being able to find the image of that header file. I tried to look for it under "site > media" but cannot find the image among the images in that area. I also tried to look for the path to the image through the template css and found this path ../images/logo.png which I believe must be the path to the header image but I honestly don't really know which path ../images/logo.png is but assuming it is the one under "media" then I still cannot find the image. Could you give me a clue on where the header image files could be found cause I've actually still failed? Or, could you make me understand this path ../images/logo.png or how to find an image on a joomla admin interface like say "logo.png". In fact I discover that on looking at the CSS for the template, the image paths found in it are not found in "Media"? Is there another path for the images in the template and how do I access them? I cannot FTP my host at the moment to view the physical files due to the long procedure needed so am hoping that there is a way to find it. I only have joomla admin access and nothing like Cpanel as yet. The joomla version of the site is 1.5.22 which I know is an old one but I plan to do first things first. Hope I've given enough infor.
Try using FireBug, or Chrome debugger - (press F12) and check "Click an element in the page to inspect" to see where the specific image is located exactly.

Dropzonejs issue with resolution of an image

I have an issue with dropezonejs.
Apparently, when an image has a resolution more than 72dpi, the thumbnail is not generated and everything stop here.
You can try by yourself in the dropzonejs website by uploading different kinds of images. (images <72dpi won't be displayed as thumbnails)
Any ideas to solve this problem?
Probably you're backend doesn't accept CMYK files. I've had the same issue with JAVA ImageIO, we are making an change in the backend to support the upload of a CMYK file
