I have a trigger on a user object that is triggered on user updating and updates the contact fields (user linked to this contact), such as first name, last name and email. First and last name are updated correctly, but email field is not updated. I think, this is due to the fact that changing a user's email to be confirmed through a link that comes in the letter. But when I confirm the change by email, contacts still not updated:(
Is there any way to solve this problem?
Add some shade field update on user when email change by workflow rule, and it will be execute trigger.

Good morning.
I have a client who has a very specific notification that they want sent out.
There is a custom multi-value control on their Feature WIT that allows the user to select one or more values (that correspond with internal team names). They want a notification to be sent to a custom email address of the team that has been selected. See screenshots below.
The problem is that when creating the notification subscription, the only filter option available for that field is "changes" and I'm unable to get the value that has been selected.
Essentially I'd like to be able to do something like: "If 'ContributingTeam' = [ABC] then [send email to custom address]" but I can only do "If 'ContributingTeam' changes then [send email to custom address] but this doesn't help because I need to send the notification to a different email address depending on which team is selected.
I'm not able to reproduce your issue on my side, the drop down seems normal for the field used for Multivalue control:
Please check whether you choose the correct field, and check what type you used for the field. Also, try to create a new field and try again.
I am using Microsoft Dynamic CRM Online and have a workflow issue. When the status of a case is modified, there is a workflow that kicks off to send members of the case team an e-mail. The problem is, it is sending the message to members of the team that have been recently disabled.
Example: User Jack Bauer is added to Case FOX24. One month later, Jack's account is marked as disabled. The following week, the status of the case is updated and a workflow is triggered to send team members an e-mail.
Is there a way inside a workflow to prevent the email from being sent if the user is disabled?
So far, I haven't found anyway to stop the email.
I solved my problem by creating a child workflow to remove any disabled users from the case specific attributes before the email is sent. The new process contains the nine checks for disabled users as well as an Update Record action for each check to {clear} the value of the associated attribute. It is marked as "Run on demand" so users can clean the Case record anytime they desire.
The child workflow will be called once per email in the parent workflow because they are sent using different timeout periods. Even if a user is disabled in the week or so between the first and second message, they shouldn't receive the messages.
Add a condition into the workflow which checks the status of the record in the 'To' field of the email.
I have generated the codes with app script in order to send emails automatically if users changed some values in google spreadsheet, which is working fine.
Now I am sharing my google spreadsheet with the app script to two more person (e.g: PersonA, PersonB). Thus, I want whoever changes anything on google spreadsheet will be sending an email under his/her own account. E.g: [All of us needs to edit within the google spreadsheet itself, without going to the "current web app url", (thanks Cameron Roberts for the clarification] if PersonA changes anything, then an email will be sent out under PersonA's account, and an email will be sent out under PersonB's account if PersonB changes anything.
I did something based on the advice from user2970721 and Cameron Roberts. I adjusted "Deploy web App" as "User accessing the web app". e.g:
I also asked PersonA & PersonB to do the same under their accounts and made sure they have triggered the script at least once. e.g:
My issue is that after I have done all these mentioned above, no matter who changes anything on google spreadsheet, emails were always sent out from PersonB's account (my best guess is that I messed up something and PersonB was the last one who triggered the script).
Does the "Project version" need to be different for me, PersonA, and PersonB, or anything else I need to change? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
First, Your project versions do not need to be different for each user.
I'm assuming you are using the On Change event, rather than a web-app. If that's the case, you should disable the WebApp entirely, as it's not needed.
When PersonA creates an On Change trigger, that will be triggered anytime any user (eg PersonA or PersonB) edits the spreadsheet. When it is triggered the code will execute as PersonA , because PersonA created the trigger. As a result, the email will be sent from PersonA's account.
For the scenario you describe, where both PersonA and PersonB have created OnChange triggers and authorised the script. I would expect emails to be sent from both accounts that have created triggers.
To send only one email, from the account that did the edit, I think you would need to do a check to determine if the user who did the edit matches the user under who's authority the script is running. I've never done this before and the docs don't really make it clear if it's possible.
Try checking the User object (Eg e.user) included with the Change event, and see if that email address is reflecting the different users making the edits.
If it is, you can compare it with the effective user and send the email if they match.

https://developers.google.com/apps-script/reference/base/session#getEffectiveUser()
Finally, it might be simpler to just include the address of the person making the edit in your email subject, and just have all the emails send from one account. That way you know who made the edit, but don't need to have every user create a trigger and do all the extra checking.
Using ?$search="foo#bar.com" in the URL query I am attempting to get full contact info for a contact matching that email address and am instead getting every contact for the logged in user. The following query returns every contact for the logged in user including the one I want.
https://outlook.office.com/api/v2.0/me/contacts/?search="ChristopherTEllingson#dayrep.com"
How do I get just the one contact?
There's a slight typo in your URL. You're missing a $ in front of the search parameter, so it gets ignored. Try this:
https://outlook.office.com/api/v2.0/me/contacts/?$search="ChristopherTEllingson#dayrep.com"
I'm having trouble to achieve this. What I would like to do is be able to edit the content (description) of an email entity for a qucik campaign before it's sent (or after it's created).
I've tried many different plugins registration without much luck.
Prevalidate Create Email : this one fires ok but only when a user creates and save the email. when the email is created by the quick campaign it is not triggered.
Prevalidate Send Email : this one fires only for when a single email is sent by a user action and does not allow to modify the description anywa
Prevalidate BackgroundSend Email: this one is correctly triggered when the emails created by a quick campaign are sent, but it does not let me modify the description.
Anyone has done that before ?
I'm using CRM 2011 online.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Found the solution which is to simply use the plugin on Create Email Pre-Operation instead of Pre-Validation like I was doing.
For some reasons, the Pre-Validation doesn't trigger when emails are created in the background.
