How to get my iPhone app listed in iPhone's native Photos app share menu? - iphone

Is it possible to list my iPhone app in iPhone's native photos app's share/send menu?
Some links says not possible. But then how facebook, twitter apps are allowed as those too are native apps not developed by apple.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Sayali

Apple has made a special exception for Facebook and Twitter because of their integration with iOS. Any other apps cannot do that.
UPDATE:
Share extensions were introduced in iOS 8, which allow developers to add their apps to the list of sharing options in the system menu.

Facebook share kit ios

I have implemented Facebook share kit to my app and it works as intended, but if the user installed Facebook official iPhone app it messes up my app because it logins through Facebook iPhone app instead of share kit default login. Is there way to make share kit ignore Facebook official iPhone app?
No, there is no such method. You just have to use the latest Facebook API provided by the Apple. That may solve your problem of not detecting the login from app.

My web app not showing on facebook native app

My app is showing on facebook desktop, m.facebook.com, but not on the native app?
I meant not showing on bookmark or favorite. When I search for it within the native app I can find it.
According to the documentation it should also appear on the native Facebook app bookmark?
Can anyone please advise what did I do wrong? I have set the mobile web setting already.
Thanks
If your app has a native app, the it will show up in the Facebook app bookmark list. If you app is a desktop or canvas app, it shows up on desktop. If your app is a mobile site, then it shows up on m.facebook.com. You need to specify the type of app or apps you support/have/exist in the developer dashboard for the app.

Will mobile web apps ever gain bookmark distribution inside of the Facebook native iOS app?

I think bookmark distribution inside the Facebook native iOS app is a great opportunity. However, based on the table at http://developers.facebook.com/docs/mobile/support/, it appears that option is only available to native iOS apps. Does anyone know if there are future plans to make web app bookmarks available inside the native app?
It's possible that the bookmark feature within the native iOS Facebook app violates Apple's policies regarding content on their platform, i.e. a web app bookmarked within the Facebook native app would represent a different user experience from the one that was cleared by Apple when they let the Facebook app onto the App Store.
If this is the case, there will be no bookmarks available in the native app unless Apple changes their policy, or grants Facebook a waiver.

How do you get your app to appear on the Facebook Mobile Application? (specifically iPhone)

We have a popular Facebook Application and a version of our App for the iPhone. I was wondering how we can make our Application appear in the "Apps" Section on the new Facebook iPhone app. On my iPhone I currently see links to the App store for Pixable, Badoo, Airbnb, Foursquare and WhoisNear iPhone Application.
I have filled out the Native iOS App settings in the Developer section on Facebook (including adding the Bundle ID and the iPhone app store ID) several weeks ago thinking it took a while to update, but still nothing shows up on my iPhone app.
Any help would be appreciated.
Best,
M
Screenshot of where we want our app to show up:
Edit your Application Settings and on the Basic Settings specify a Mobile Web URL for your Mobile Web integration. You should be able to set the URL to your app's iTunes URL.
Fill out the iOS information within the admin settings of your application, which also means they are using the same application id. You also have to have granted at least the basic permissions via connect on the app, and have the app installed on the phone.

Mobile phones that can support facebook apps

Does anyone know of a good website that I can check to find out what are the mobile phones (smartphones) that support facebook apps (Facebook API calls and all that)?
I am pretty sure that all smartphones have facebook support except for blackberries, but I would still like to find a full list.
Blackberry currently has it in their AppWorld http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/680?lang=en
Nokia currently has it in their Ovi Store http://store.ovi.com/search?q=facebook
Saying that I don't believe there is a current "smart" phone that doesn't have a facebook app. I didn't link it, but Palm/HP WebOS also has a facebook app.
To also answer the API question I saw 3rd party apps on all platforms as well so I don't believe there is a current app market/platform that doesn't support the FB API.
It would be based more on OS. iOS, Android, and Windows 7 all support the calls. According to this SO Question, Blackberry works too.
There is also the Facebook Blackberry SDK
