mongoDb shows data by find in wrong order - mongodb

i have table in mongoDB and I want to fetch data with followed order:
I have collection that has array of elements: _id, address, locname, loctype, id_double,
I want to get all array but with different element order like:
id_double, address, loctype, locname
So I wrote query:
db.coll.find({},{"_id":0, "id_double":1, "address":1, "loctype":1, "locname":1})
But got wrong order:
{ "loctype" : "Hospital", "locname" : "Alex", "address" : "Alrad", "id_double" : 21 }
{ "address" : "Bukit", "id_double" : 1, "locname" : "KKH", "loctype" : "Clinic/Hospital" }
{ "address" : "Thirdenue", "id_double" : 2, "locname" : "Singae", "loctype" : "Clinic/Hospital" }
{ "address" : "Avenue", "id_double" : 3, "locname" : "Nation", "loctype" : "Clinic/Hospital" }
{ "address" : "tal Drive", "id_double" : 4, "locname" : "SGH", "loctype" : "Clinic/Hospital" }
[Edit]
I used mySql -> mongodb converter
And seems that above mentioned syntax valid and must return data in the same order
Did I miss something?
Thanks,

Seems you missed the call to sort, e.g. like so:
db.coll.find().sort({id_double: 1, address: 1, loctype: 1, locname: 1})

mongodb lookup giving empty array

BED_MAST this is my one collection bed_mast contains WARD_ID and want to perform join to my other collection with is WARD_MAST given below.

"BED_TYPE" : "single Non AC"
}
WARD_MAST this is my WARD_MAST having ward_id. but while I am putting lookup I am not getting any data.
{
"_id" : ObjectId("5e53c95b26b0e5ad0fb46544"),
"patient_id" : null,
"ward_id" : 1,
"total_beds" : 55,
"ward_name" : "Ward 1"
}

"patient_id" : null,
"ward_id" : 2,
"total_beds" : 63,
"ward_name" : "Ward 2"
}
MY query is
db.BED_MAST.aggregate([{$lookup:{'from':"WARD_MAST",'localField':"WARD_ID",'foreignField':"ward_id",'as':"lookup_value"}}]).pretty()
output: I have confirmed the data by running this query to MySQL there it is working fine
{
"_id" : ObjectId("5e53c95b26b0e5ad0fb46388"),
"Bed_id" : "bd-28",
"WARD_ID" : "6",
"OCCUPIED" : "0",
"BED_TYPE" : "NICU",
"lookup_value" : [ ]
}
SAMPLE VALUES DATA IS GIVEN ALL DATA IS NOT POSSIBLE TO GIVE. I know it was asked 1000 times but not able to resolve this question. tried to solve with lookup. but it showing blank space. Is anything I am missing.
The problem is BED_MAST collection's WARD_ID has string values and WARD_MAST collection's ward_id has Number values.

Mongodb put Documents array as the same level

I have this array of documents, I would like to put "table" on the same level like mastil_antenas and other variables. how Can I do that with aggregate?
I'm trying with the aggregate $project but I can't get the result.

Starting from MongoDB version 3.4 you could use $addFields to do this.
//replace products with what makes sense in your database
db.getCollection('products').aggregate(
[
{ //1 add the properties from subdocument table to documents
$addFields: {
"documents.tecmast" : "documents.0.table.tecmast",
"documents.frecmast" : "documents.0.table.frecmast",
"documents.secmast" : "documents.0.table.secmast",
"documents.untitled440" : "documents.0.table.untitled440"
}
},
{
//(optional) 2 remove the table property from the documents
$project: {"documents.table" : 0}
}
]
)
Step 1: use $addFields to grab properties from table inside documents.table and put them on documents
Step 2: (optional) remove property "table" from documents.
I hope this helps!!!

Mongodb + Mongoose: trying to add a sub-sub-item

Does this makes any sense when trying to add a sub-sub-item? (I'm new to mongo - be merciful :-))
question = db.questions.findOne({_id: ObjectId("529c5d44211c9a8c11000006")})
question.answers[0].votes.insert(...)
When I run this from the mongo console the result is an error saying [object object] does not have the method insert.
I have the following mongoDB Question Schema.
{

I'm trying, given a questionId and an answerId to add a vote to the votes array (which is inside the answer). I can't seem to do it. Help?
insert is for adding whole new documents; when you just want to add a new element to an array field of an existing document, you can use update along with an operator like $push.
So, in the shell you would use something like this:
db.questions.update(
{_id: ObjectId("529c5d44211c9a8c11000006")},
{'answers.0.votes': {$push: voteToPush}})

Errors while creating a collection in MongoDB

I am new to MongoDB. I am not able to create a collection. It gives a sentence in the mongo shell - Display all 169 possibilities? (y or n). The code is -
db.Lead.insert(
{ LeadID: 1,
MasterAccountID: 100,
LeadName: 'Sarah',
LeadEmailID : 'sarah#hmail.com',
LeadPhoneNumber : '2132155445',
Details : [{ StateID: 1,
TaskID : 1,
Assigned By : 1001,
TimeStamp : '10:00:00',
StatusID : 1 }
]
}
)
Not sure what the issue is. Please help me out with the same.
Regards.
Apart from the fact there is a space in Assigned By everything looks good.
I am able to insert it properly.
> db.Lead.find().pretty()
{
"_id" : ObjectId("517ebe75278e0557fd167eb7"),
"LeadID" : 1,
"MasterAccountID" : 100,
"LeadName" : "Sarah",
"LeadEmailID" : "sarah#hmail.com",
"LeadPhoneNumber" : "2132155445",
"Details" : [
{
"StateID" : 1,
"TaskID" : 1,
"AssignedBy" : 1001,
"TimeStamp" : "10:00:00",
"StatusID" : 1
}
]
}

MongoDB - how to query for a nested item inside a collection?

I have some data that looks like this:
[
{
"_id" : ObjectId("4e2f2af16f1e7e4c2000000a"),
"advertisers" : [
{
"created_at" : ISODate("2011-07-26T21:02:19Z"),
"category" : "Infinity Pro Spin Air Brush",
"updated_at" : ISODate("2011-07-26T21:02:19Z"),
"lowered_name" : "conair",
"twitter_name" : "",
"facebook_page_url" : "",
"website_url" : "",
"user_ids" : [ ],
"blog_url" : "",
},
and I was thinking that a query like this would give the id of the advertiser:
var start = new Date(2011, 1, 1);
> var end = new Date(2011, 12, 12);
> db.agencies.find( { "created_at" : {$gte : start , $lt : end} } , { _id : 1 , program_ids : 1 , advertisers { name : 1 } } ).limit(1).toArray();
But my query didn't work. Any idea how I can add the fields inside the nested elements to my list of fields I want to get?
Thanks!
Use dot notation (e.g. advertisers.name) to query and retrieve fields from nested objects:
db.agencies.find({
"advertisers.created_at": {
$gte: start,
$lt: end
}
},
{
_id: 1,
program_ids: 1,
"advertisers.name": 1
}
}).limit(1).toArray();
Reference: Retrieving a Subset of Fields
and Dot Notation
db.agencies.find(
{ "advertisers.created_at" : {$gte : start , $lt : end} } ,
{ program_ids : 1 , advertisers.name : 1 }
).limit(1).pretty();
There is one thing called dot notation that MongoDB provides that allows you to look inside arrays of elements. Using it is as simple as adding a dot for each array you want to enter.
In your case
"_id" : ObjectId("4e2f2af16f1e7e4c2000000a"),
"advertisers" : [
{
"created_at" : ISODate("2011-07-26T21:02:19Z"),
"category" : "Infinity Pro Spin Air Brush",
"updated_at" : ISODate("2011-07-26T21:02:19Z"),
"lowered_name" : "conair",
"twitter_name" : "",
"facebook_page_url" : "",
"website_url" : "",
"user_ids" : [ ],
"blog_url" : "",
},
{ ... }
If you want to go inside the array of advertisers to look for the property created_at inside each one of them, you can simply write the query with the property {'advertisers.created_at': query} like follows
db.agencies.find( { 'advertisers.created_at' : { {$gte : start , $lt : end} ... }
