Prestashop Upgrade Issue - Products Page not showing anything - upgrade

I just upgraded a prestashop from 1.2.x to 1.5.4.1
everything seems to work but products page is not showing anything at all
every other page under catalog and the rest of the back office work fine
I just cant seem to figure it out
BTW I am new to prestashop, so it may be a stupid mistake

You must be getting errors on product page but the display_errors are disabled go to /config/defines.inc.php and replace off with on for else
else
{
#ini_set('display_errors', 'off');
it will display all errors

I had same issue after moving to the new Server. I couldn't open any Product page in my Prestashop. Regenerating the .htaccess and many other tricks didn't help me. To my surprise the final solution was so simple... Changed Preferences->SEO&URLs->Shop domain from www.mydomain.com to mydomain.com.

Facebook is Fetching Weird URL of my laravel based website

I am having this link:
http://www.myqourse.com/offer/557/en/Certificate+Business+Professional+-+CBP+Leading+through+change
when I post it on WhatsApp, the link renders perfectly. However, Facebook tries to fetch http://www.myqourse.com/www.myqourse.com/offer/557/en/Certificate+Business+Professional+-+CBP+Leading+through+change
Any thoughts why is this is happening?
Solved it! I had a pretender.io middleware, that, was not compatible to my new htaccess. I updated the htaccess and removed pretender.io and forgot to do that to my middleware!
Hi guys I appreciate your support.
While investigating the issue, i figured out that i used to use prerender.io before, though i removed the code from my project, it appears i forgot to upload updated Kernel.php (and remove prerender.io from global middleware), now things works perfectly!

Joomla: post redirects to profile page or give 404 error

I know Joomla 1.6 is old, the site isn't mine.
The problem: after logging in as normal site user using a menu link, a redirect to a special info page should be performed. But, the post itself (apparently) redirects to the user's profile page, which is not desired.
When I try to call the post directly it's the same. If not logged in, 404 not found error pops up.
Any ideas?
Edit: the 404 says "Category not found". The post has the category "Uncategorised", like most of the other posts.
Using Joomla 3.8.10, and I recently hand the same problem. Log into Joomla, member sees 404 page. Clearing the Joomla cache solved the problem (at least for now). Thank you so much to Robert K. for posting his solution.
Update #1 -- Shree, good info. My primary purpose was to show that the solution of clearing the cache would still work for Joomla 3.8.10, which is many years newer that Joomla 1.6. Almost no one uses Joomla 1.6 anymore.
Update #2 - Clearing the Joomla cache was only a temporary solution, because the problem came back again. I had to disable the new Joomla extension of CJBlog, which I had just installed. And, then clearing Joomla cache cured my login-shows-404 problem.
Guess no one's interested in the answer, but I'll post it anyway.
The problem was the caching system (it used to work for like 15 min and break after that time). I deactivated it and everything works fine now.

Facebook showing page not found when sharing link

I'm sharing content from a website and every time I paste the link into Facebook it says 'page not found'.
Sometimes it works when I manually add the 'www.' in front of the URL in the address bar.
EXAMPLE
Shows page not found:
http://roundreviews.co.uk/reviews/speakers/native-union-monocle-speaker/
Works when you manually place www. in front:
www.roundreviews.co.uk/reviews/speakers/native-union-monocle-speaker/
I honestly have no I idea why it's doing this, any thoughts on how it can be fixed on the web side?
Also...
I have tried with the link below with both the www. and without yet it doesn't work with either of them, this is all very strange. This is the only link I have tried and it doesn't work with both:
www.roundreviews.co.uk/microphones/spark-digital-microphone/
Any help is much appreciated, thanks.
For me what it worked was to access the Facebook Debugger, as Goose said.
I saw that the scrape was about 12 hours ago, looks like it fetches the first time and saves it as caché or whatsoever...
What it worked for me is to debug the url, then click "fetch new scrape information" after the previous information has been shown.
Hope it works!
For those running across this today, you might find that you also need to verify your domain and link it to your page.
To do this you need to
Set up a Facebook Business Account
Add your page to the business account
Verify your domain (using DNS TXT or adding a page facebook gives you)
Under domains, connect your page as an asset of that domain

Manadev SEO Layered Navigation Plus issue in magento 1.7

I am using SEO Layered Navigation Plus < http://www.manadev.com/seo-layered-navigation-plus > in Magento 1.7. Few days age, I have put some demo products and it was working fine but when my site goes to live server and I have deleted all the products then it is not working.
Suppose, I have a attribute "Color" with two option White, block etc. Now I click on white then the products are not filtering but the url is changing. Now the strange thing is - After that, if I am refreshing the page then it will redirect to 404 error page.
Please, help me out.
I think you should check the following:
Make sure you unsecure, secure base URL is pointing correctly to your live website and try to flush your Magento cache storage.
Are you using the latest version of the extension ?, maybe you should check for any new updates, the last version was 3.10.

Facebook Lint/Debugger 403 and 503 Response code. (Wordpress site.)

Humbly asking for any assistance people have time to give me on this one. Let me start by saying that I am aware there are previous questions about this on this site and elsewhere on the web; I have read a lot of them, and they are either unanswered/resolved, had a particular cause that doesn't apply to me, or suggests things I have already done.
Over the past few days, Facebook has suddenly stopped scraping my website posts successfully, so when I paste a link into Facebook it pulls nothing through - no thumb or description. I run the links through the FB lint/debugger, and it alternates between 403 and 503 response codes, but mainly 403. Previous links that Facebook has cached/successfully scraped still display with thumbs and desc, but still present as a 403 or 503 response.
My site is http://21stcenturyburlesque.com
One of the new URLs I have been testing is : http://21stcenturyburlesque.com/the-burlesque-top-50-2013/
I have checked with the server/host people. Nothing has changed, everything fine.
I have tried with the default wordpress theme. No change.
I have read threads about Bullet Proof Security causing issues, although why it suddenly would I don't know. It was deactivated on my site anyway, but I went through the removal process to remove the htaccess file with the BPS code in it. I have then run debug without an htaccess file present, and with a very basic htaccess present. No change.
Hotlinking protection is disabled in my cpanel.
I have experimented with adding/removing www. and / when I paste the link into lint as someone suggested. No change.
I use Facebook OGP Wordpress plugin. I spoke to the creator and he says the plugin is working as it should and to contact my host/server. See bullet one.
I tried creating a new FB App and using the new App Id number with the OGP plugin. No change.
Checked the cpanel error log. This came up three times tonight:
[Fri Nov 01 21:47:53 2013] [error] [client 193.242.149.35] File does not exist: /home/**/public_html/403.shtml
There are a few other things I ruled out but I've been at this for so long I can't remember all of them, so if someone suggests something else I've tried then I apologise for not mentioning it here in advance.
If anyone can suggest anything else, I would really appreciate it. I manage to fix most technical problems I come up against, but this has stumped me and my much more experienced colleague and it is really affecting my clickthrough rates and site traffic. If it comes down to adding things to my htaccess file, I would appreciate guidance on what to add/remove. Many thanks in advance.
I had the same problem. Drove me crazy for hours (maybe days). In your FB app settings make sure that the top Facebook url has http://
