We've been wrestling with the facebook comment box for a few months now. For some reason we aren't able to see comments without refreshing the page. I'd love to hear any suggestions. The site is http://yourquantumlife.com/livvideo/ if anyone could spare a few moments to see what we've got. We stream a video from livestream on each Tuesday evening; and we want our viewers to have the ability to 'chat', so to speak. We thought the facebook comment box would be the most logical (and simple) but we're open to ideas on how we can achieve having our members converse.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Using the FB-Share-Button posts a Message on FB which contains my Company-Name in the last line. Sadly I cant post the screenshot, because I havent enough reputations.
Is it possible to disable this? Or how can I hide this information?
Thank you for your support!
Martin
Apperently there is no way to hide the company-name. But there is a solution to change the information. It is taken from the html-meta-tag "author". So any changes in this tag have effect on the shown words.
Facebook caches this information for some circumstances, changes may not appear in time.

Can anyone spare a few minutes to walk me through the Facebook instructions for adding a Like button to my tumblr blog? Once I get to the Open Graph Tags section my lack of knowledge of HTML really hinders me. I would really love to get this done soon!
If you are currently unemployed and looking for help in preparing for interviews or a second pair of eyes on your resume, I can pay you in kind in return. If you are not I'd be willing to pay a small amount via paypal to someone who can spend time with me to fix this.
Thank you!
Justin
This tutorial looks recent and has very detailed instructions: http://eyedealab.com/add-facebook-likebutton-tumblr-posts-opengraph/ that look ok based on my development experience.
I hope I can find an answer to my question on this forum. We run a Joomla site (v1.5.23) and have integrated facebook comments, recommendations etc on the site.
A while ago a strange squared frame turned up on our site. If I check the frames code I can see that it is originated from Facebook (there are for example references to s-static.ak.fbcdn.net).
I can't find out why this is shown like this. I have tried to unpublish the facebook-plugins in Joomla, but it is still there.
Does someone have an idea what this can be and how I can get rid of it?
Here are a live page, search for "Det är förmiddag, lätt nattfrost, ett svagt ljus" - in that paragraph you will see the frame:

Or here is an image of it: http://my.jetscreenshot.com/5366/20120412-kw0j-300kb
With kind regards,

welcome to stackoverflow!
Add the following to your CSS stylesheet and it will go away. After you do it, just check that it doesn't hide anything that you don't want hidden.
iframe#fb_xdm_frame_http {display:none;}
iframe#fb_xdm_frame_https {display:none;}

I am new at designing websites. I would like to insert FB's "Like" Box into my website. I am using Dreamweaver CS4.
I am on the FB's Like Button/Box generator page.
I received the code.
I tried putting it into my index.dwt page where I want it to be, and it does not show up.
Any suggestions? Thanks so much!
Update: I am still getting nowhere with this!! I've been trying everything I read in help topics, and nothing is working! My head is about to explode... PLEASE if anyone knows how to help, let me know. Thanks in advance.
***I posted the codes I'm using in comments below... thanks
Heather I tried your generated code and generated code for my site too and both do not work.
Use this simple code: (replace the putyoursitehere and yourhomepage with your own)
You can change the properties to fit your own.
If the code doesn't come through, go to this page, view source and copy FB code.

Hope this helps,

Recently, at the Charlotte 2009 Code Camp someone was telling me about a project/product that would export the history of a XBox 360 Console and then create some kind of diary or journal for the XBox.
He didn't really know the details, but he thought it would take the Xbox Console history and then convert it into one of the social networking sites like FaceBook.
So it might look like this:
Chris played "Halo Wars" for 3 hours today... more specific details like score etc.
I didn't see Chris at all today. Hope he stops by soon.
Chris played "Galaxy Wars" for 2 hours today... again even more details.
I don't know for sure it would make it FaceBook content. It could have been a blog, or Twitter, or anything else.
I thought it was a great idea, and I was wanting to check it out, and hoping that it is open source because then I have some ideas of my own.
Either way first I need to find it. And so far all my searching has been for vain.
If you know any more details please share, because I'm sure there are others who are curious now too. :D
Something like what the 360 voice is doing?
