I am trying everything I can for the last 3 days and I didnt find a way to make this version of their SDK work with the latest unity version (4.3.1).
FB SDK version 4.2.4 works fine on every Unity version I tried, but, 4.3.6 doesnt work with any of them (4.0, 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3).
Always gives me that weird message about java building:
Error building Player: Win32Exception: ApplicationName='C:Program
Files (x86)Javajre7binjavac.exe', CommandLine='-bootclasspath
"E:/adt-bundle-windows/sdk/platforms/android-14android.jar" -d
"E:Unity Projects[project name]TempStagingAreabinclasses" -source 1.6
-target 1.6 -encoding ascii "comfacebookandroidR.java" "comwinterbigbangR.java"', CurrentDirectory='E:Unity Projects[project
name]TempStagingAreagen
Another weird thing, I setup my app to android 2.3.3 (API-10) why the hell it is trying to use android14?
With the combination of Unity 4.3.1 and FB SDK 4.2.4, I finally made it work flawless, but, I think that Ill be missing some good stuff from 4.3.6...
After almost a week long I think I found the problem.
I uninstalled all Java from my computer and installed Java 6 32bits. Now everything works as intended.

So I got an demo ios project from different company but I can't launch it
Basically i get two errors:
Sometimes I also go an unsupported swift architecure error
I work on M2 processor and use XCode 14.2
Project does not have pods, all packages are managed via spm (that's what I was told)
For now i tried:
opening xcode via rosetta (nothing changed)
changing version of xcode to 14.0 (nothing changed)
using other swift version via toolchain (Swift 5.7), screen below ( get different erorrs but i dont think its a good way)
UPDATE
I downloaded version 14.0 of xcode and toolchain 5.7.2
When i use that version of xcode i get an error about missing classes from that sdk in scope and also some weird error from SentrySamplingProvider ( screens below)
Some time after upgrading to Xcode 9, I discovered that I was no longer able to build a Kitura-based project with the Swift 3.1.1 snapshot (which I have installed via swiftenv).
When I ran swift build, some time into the build I would get:
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.13.sdk/System/Library/Frameworks/Foundation.framework/Headers/Foundation.apinotes:8:28: error: unknown key 'SwiftImportAsNonGeneric'
SwiftImportAsNonGeneric: true
^
<unknown>:0: error: could not build Objective-C module 'Foundation'
It seems that there is a dependency between Swift and Xcode, and Xcode 9 is no longer fully compatible with Swift 3.1.1 (or earlier) snapshots. I believe it may be because my project uses Foundation, and Foundation on Mac is provided as part of Xcode, whereas on Linux it is part of the Swift snapshot (via swift-corelibs-foundation).
I did find a solution to this problem: If I keep a copy of Xcode 8.3.3 around (eg. in /Applications/Xcode8.3.3.app) then I can use sudo xcode-select -s /Applications/Xcode<version>.app/Contents/Developer to select the appropriate one prior to building with SPM, and I can then build both Swift 3.1.1 and 4.0 projects on the same system.
However, this feels a bit clunky. Each time I build a project with the 'other' Swift version, I have to make sure I run xcode-select, or the build will fail. Is having multiple versions of Xcode the right solution in this case, or am I missing a trick with Xcode 9?
note that if, like me, you upgraded Xcode via the App Store, previous versions of Xcode are still available from https://developer.apple.com/download/more/
The plugin had been working beautifully up until last night. Getting the following errors on iOS only after updating to latest Ionic/Cordova (android is fine).
Updated to:
xcode version 7.2.1
ionic version 1.7.14
I have also tested the same app with another mac running previous version of ionic 1.7.13 and cordova 6, and all is good.
After testing with the older version, i built a new mac (fresh wives laptop) with the latest ionic setup and again same error.
Here's the plugin in question https://ionicthemes.com/tutorials/about/native-facebook-login-with-ionic-framework

After banging my head against a wall for a few days, I found that others were having the same issue though it was labeled as a "cordova 6" problem.
Original github issue:
https://github.com/Wizcorp/phonegap-facebook-plugin/issues/1227
Eventually whilst scrolling through known bugs under github for "phonegap-facebook-plugin" i noticed that similar errors had occurred on a previous release, then super Jeduan re-wrote the plugin and released it under the following:
Plugin fix:
https://github.com/jeduan/cordova-plugin-facebook4
The above appears to be working find under cordova 6, xcode version 7.2.1 and ionic version 1.7.14
I had Facebook Unity SDK working in my game prototype until I updated to Unity 4.3. After the update build fails on dSYM generation in xCode. Error message:
Command /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/dsymutil failed with exit code 11
Most notably before the final error message above I get this warning:
ld: warning: instance method 'application:openURL:sourceApplication:annotation:' in category from /Users//Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/Unity-iPhone-duxgtdhujpdgtjbanfxzqinkvybw/Build/Intermediates/Unity-iPhone.build/Debug-iphoneos/Unity-iPhone.build/Objects-normal/armv7/FbUnityInterface.o overrides method from class in /Users//Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/Unity-iPhone-duxgtdhujpdgtjbanfxzqinkvybw/Build/Intermediates/Unity-iPhone.build/Debug-iphoneos/Unity-iPhone.build/Objects-normal/armv7/UnityAppController.o
I investigated this a bit and yes, it seems that both UnityAppController.mm and FbUnityInterface.mm define "openURL" method and that's what xCode doesn't like. I also checked the iOS build that I had worked with on earlier (4.2.x) Unity version and in that build Unity did not define openURL-method in any of its .mm files.
Version Info:
Facebook Unity SDK Version 4.3.4
Unity Editor Version 4.3 (Pro)
Xcode 5.0.2
Changes vs Unity xCode project default configuration:
Added the frameworks that AdMob requires
Added linker flag "-ObjC" that AdMob requires (Build Settings -> Other Linker Flags)
I tested linking without the "-ObjC" flag also. Result is the same. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I ran into the same problem but only building with debugging enabled in Build Options. Turn off debugging and you get past it. Or, BuildOptions.None in your build pipeline.
Of course, no debugging ...
We just released version 4.3.6 of the sdk that fixes login with unity version 4.3. It's available at https://developers.facebook.com/
I need a torch on my phonegap project (Cordova 2.7.0, xcode 4.6.2), but I cannot activate it on iPhone. I've tested 2 solutions:
The shazron plugin, but it refuses to compile with a lot of errors, even using it's javacript upgrade (include in next solution)
Tom Schreck's upgrade. It did't throw any error, but it fails too. I've tested it on older versions of phonegap, such 2.2.0 with same results.
Any suggestion??
Thanks!
The Tom's solution has erros in the demo file. At least, to toggle the torch you can use window.plugins.torch.toggle(); but it only works in Cordova 2.2.0. ¿Any update for Cordova 2.7.0?
