TinyMCE on Gadget of EPiServer - tinymce

I wanna add the TinyMCE on my gadget on EPiServer. It's means I need stance directly the control.
<tinyMCE:Editor ID="myEditor" Width="300" Height="200" theme="simple" runat="server" ></tinyMCE:Editor>
but this just created a Text Area. How I can add all necessaries scripts?

I think you need to add your own TinyMCE. That's the approach that's recommended for use in templates so this should be the same.

How to use t3:// TypoLinks in TYPO3 HTML Content Elements without disabling `parseFunc.htmlSanitize` globally?

Since the release of the security patches in August 2021 that prevents Cross-Site Scripting via Rich-Text Content I noticed that the output of HTML Content Elements suddenly changed in our projects. Some tag attributes and tags got removed by the newly introduced HTML Sanitizer (when the template is modified so that t3:// style TypoLinks get rendered).
So simply overriding the default Html.html Fluid Template, changing the <f:format.raw> to <f:format.html> and adding a html decoding like in the following example is no longer sufficient.
<f:section name="Main">
<f:comment> We use this to render links and other stuff in html elements </f:comment>
<f:format.htmlentitiesDecode>
<f:format.html parseFuncTSPath="lib.parseFunc">
{data.bodytext}
</f:format.html>
</f:format.htmlentitiesDecode>
</f:section>
The easiest way to prevent changes in your html codes output provided by HTML Content Elements is to disable the sanitizer globally by adding lib.parseFunc.htmlSanitize = 0 to your TypoScript config, what is not ideal.
How can I disable the parseFunc.htmlSanitize only for this purpose?
Or is there an other solution to render TypoLinks within HTML Content Elements?
Note: You don't need to disable the HTML Sanitizer if you do not override the Html.html template!
Simply make a copy of lib.parseFunc and disable the sanitizer in this copy.
lib.parseHtmlFunc < lib.parseFunc
lib.parseHtmlFunc.htmlSanitize = 0
Then use this lib in your Html.html template.
<f:section name="Main">
<f:comment> We use this to render links and other stuff in html elements </f:comment>
<f:format.htmlentitiesDecode>
<f:format.html parseFuncTSPath="lib.parseHtmlFunc">
{data.bodytext}
</f:format.html>
</f:format.htmlentitiesDecode>
</f:section>

Creating Custom Content Element in TYPO3

Cany anybody tell me how to render the following structure in
typo3 without developing a new extension.
<div class="sidebar-details">
<div class="sidebar-details-title">
<h4><span>MY TITLE</span></h4>
</div>
<div class="sidebar-details-body">
<p>
TEXT
</p>
</div>
</div>
What would be the best/recommended way to achieve this ?
Start using gridelements.
Gives you exactly what you want.
http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/gridelements
You can activate the RTE html mode and put it in its source or make use of HTML element, but that's depending on your needs.
If you want to keep RTE functions for editing the text what I mentioned first is the recommended way. Have done it several times myself.
If you are using Template mapping using Templavoila so, you can create FCE(Flexible content element) for it and you can map this part.
If you are using fluid template mapping so, you can create gridelement for it. and map all part.

How to display everyone of the label and the radio choices in its own line?

I'm using Struts2. By default, when using the struts form, the label and the choices are displayed in the same line. How can I do to make the label in a line, and every radio choice in its own line? Is there a way by CSS? I need your help guys. Here it is how my form looks like. Thank you!
<s:form action="resultAction" namespace="/">
<s:radio label="Gender" name="yourGender" list="genders" value="defaultGenderValue" />
<s:submit value="submit" name="submit" />
</s:form>
Which theme are you using as by default struts2 use xHtml theme and which generate certain set of Tables to render the view.
Struts2 use free-marker template to render the HTML for tags and you can customize theme as per your choice or can create you rown theme.
Try with simple theme which will not generate any table or div and will render plain HTML for you are you have all way to apply your custom CSS to change/customize the view.
You can set the theme per page basis on for the whole application for per page basis add the following line in the head section
<s:set name="theme" value="'simple'" scope="page" />
for whole application you can either set in struts.properties file or in struts.xml file though the second one is more preferable.
<constant name="struts.ui.theme" value="simple" />
If you want to play with theme here is the link for same

html email with background-image style not shown

I am creating an email template which has to display images from external website. I had placed some <img> tags for rendering the images and there are some <td> tags with background-image property set in inline css of the elements.
Now, when an email is received in outlook, the images are not displayed (this is expected as the images are not embedded). And I click the download images to see the images properly. The images in <IMG> tag are only shown and the background-image for the <TD> is not rendered.
Any views on solving this problem?
Thanks!
At last I found the answer.
Outlook 2007 does not use the Internet Explorer's rendering engine for loading HTML content. Instead it uses Word 2007 HTML and CSS capabilities.
Because of this CSS attributes such as background-image is not supported. And hence it's not possible to set a background image for HTML elements in outlook using standard CSS tags.
More info is available at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa338201(v=office.12).aspx
Background images are not supported in Outlook. As a best practice, you should never use background images in HTML emails. If you must have a background, you can use and image PLUS a solid color. Those with email clients that support background images will get the images, and those that don't support it will fall back to the solid color.
There is actually a method to use background images in HTML emails in Outlook.
As Chaitanya mentions it can't be done with CSS, but it can be done via VML.
The technique is a bit more involved than using background: url(....) and I don't use it as frequently as I would use the CSS technique (if it worked in Outlook). But it is very useful.
I've used it successfully on a number of campaigns.
Full instructions here: including a list of email clients that support this technique.

Also, here's a guide from Campaign Monitor: http://www.campaignmonitor.com/css/ which proved super helpful for me.
There is a way of displaying HTML images.
Right html emails rendered as MSWord document in outlook.
I got the solution from this https://stackoverflow.com/a/12693917/413032 post.
So we need an alternate.
In fact you may open your html email in MSWORD and finding what seems wrong and considering what can be an alternate gives idea.
Here is what I did ;
Added v namespace to html tag
< html xmlns:v="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml"
Added v's style to head block
< head >
<style type="”text/css”">
v\:* { behavior: url(#default#VML); display:inline-block}
</style>
In table or where you need add your MSWord alternate
<table style="background-image: url('https://e-telesaglik.com/images/email/canvas-bg.jpg');background-repeat:no-repeat;" cellpadding="0" width="960">
<!--[if gte vml 1]>
<v:shape
stroked='f'
style='position:absolute;margin-left:-90pt;margin-top:-1.55pt;
z-index:-503306481;
visibility:visible;
width:720pt;
height:475pt;
top:0;
left:0;
border:0;
'>
<v:imagedata src="https://e-telesaglik.com/images/email/canvas-bg.jpg"/>
</v:shape>
<![endif]-->
<tbody> ....
That is all.
Sure it will be a MSWord render. And more, as you notice we use absolute positioning...
Anyway this is a workaround and solves the issue in a way.
We hope one day MS-Outlook renders html e-mails with a web browser not with MS-Word.
This works in Gmail,
I tried this to show div with image in email newsletter, try inline css, sending email guidelines here

Umbraco CMS stripping ALT tags from images when content saved

Umbraco is taking:
<img alt="Your Title - for example Mr., Mrs., Ms."
src="../media/21283/q16x16.gif" width="16" height="15"/>
And turning it into
<img alt="" src="/media/21283/q16x16.gif" width="16" height="15" rel="16,15"/>
If I alter the alt tag after this processing then the alt tag is saved.
My guess is this has something to do with the 'validElements' setting in TinyMCE (the wysiwyg editor)
in version 4 this is edited in the /config/tinyMCEConig.config file. Look for validElements. It could be the same in 3.03?
Each allowed HTML tag along with it's allowed attributes is listed in this section in the config file.
Ensure you have a something like this in there:
img[id|dir........border|alt=|title.......]
