Netbeans 8.0 does not upload modified files - remote-server

I recently installed netbeans 8.0 in my computer Ubuntu Desktop 12.04 LTS, and when I 'm trying to update remote server with project version, there are no files selected to upload.
This is too hard for me because I'm not capable to remember all files modified on each revision, and I dont want to spent so much time uploading entire project.
Does anyone knos how to manage this issue? I've read about this as a bug, but I dont know how to fix it. I'm very confused!
Thanks in advance.

Unable to open or uninstall Tableau Public 2020

I'm trying to open Tableau Public. It won't let me and says, "An administrator has blocked you from running this app". I tried uninstalling it. It won't let me do that either. Does anyone know why?
I had the same problem. I downloaded the latest version and installed it this resolved the problem. I hope it works for you too.
I was facing the same issue(Windows 10), the problem was I have already installed tableau public and I want to install Tableau desktop in my pc but somehow I am neither able to uninstall tableau public nor able to install the new version of tableau desktop.
Below are the steps which I have followed and now it's working fine for me.
Go to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 and find gpedit.exe and run it (other than Windows 10 you can direct run gpedi.exe from windows+r means from the run menu)
Go to the specified path as shown in the image and Disable it.
Restart the pc and try to re-install it again.
I was having the same problem and I tried a couple of things regarding Windows and none of them work so, I wouldnt try again. I downloaded again Tableau, installed and it works... just like Amit said
Update: I downloaded the latest version and it seemed to solve the issue.

MAMP Downgrading from version 5 back to 4 and getting error on start

Receiving an error trying to load up MAMP 4.5 after downgrading from version 5 to 4.5 because their serial number system is broke and no one in support is working.
This message comes up when trying to start, any thoughts?
Downloaded from the website under "older versions"
https://www.mamp.info/en/downloads/older-versions/
OS: Mac
I had to downgrade, as well; though in my case it's because mySQL will not upgrade my databases, but I was able to license it.
I was able to successfully downgrade by doing the following:
Backed up the /Applications/MAMP folder (just in case)
Deleted /Applications/MAMP and /Applications/MAMP Pro.app by moving them to the trash (these were created by MAMP Pro 5 installer)
Downloaded and installed MAMP Pro 4.5 from the link you posted above
I'm back up and running with MAMP Pro 4.5 at this point, so looks like everything worked out. Good luck! Depending on your setup, you might need to migrate stuff out of the /Applications/MAMP folder (definitely back that sucker up before you delete it).
Please note: For my original answer, I mis-read the MAMP Pro docs and incorrectly re-located the database directory in /Applications/MAMP/db to my user Library folder (~/Library). This apparently did nothing, because the databases were actually located in the root-level /Library folder. I highly recommend backing this folder up prior to upgrading or downgrading. The MAMP 5 installer automatically copies your mysql56 folder, but the problem I ran into is that evidently it didn't copy all of the database folders within it (which is presumably why the mySQL 5.7 upgrade logic was failing hard on my end). So a backup is a great idea, because the steps the MAMP installer takes to keep a historical backup don't actually work too well in my experience.

Not able to install software on macOS using installer

I just bought a new MacBook Pro 2016 Edition about 2 weeks ago.
I installed a bunch of applications and software so far by copying them into Applications Folder as well as by following installer wizard.
Now today I tried to install Wireshark using installer wizard. I tried to install teamviewer too later today which also uses installer wizard. And both give me the same error.
I really need to resolve this because I need TeamViewer soon and I'm not finding anyone else facing this issue online anywhere.
Please advise.
Thank you
I also encountered such an error before,to solve it dont copy the pakage to your app folder, but instead open it with admin powers and that should fix the issue.
If you have purchased this software then you can call the tech support, else dont call them it can put you in danger for installing pirated software.
I looked everywhere. Didn't find a viable solution. But then reinstalled the OS. Which didn't affect any of my data or installed application. I got the whole Operating System the same way I left it. But resolved the issue I was facing.

where can I report/get response on eclipse crashes caused by 14.02-14.04 upgrade?

Yes, I know. I got no rep on this site. But I have to ask this.
I upgraded my laptop, my main dev machine, from 14.02 LTS to 14.04 LTS and the plugins I use with eclipse (3.7) completely broke. I use WOLips (https://github.com/wocommunity/wolips) with eclipse. WOLips is for working with WebObjects applications.
I was getting two crashes. One would occur when editing a java file, when auto-suggest kicked in. I fixed this by adding "-Dorg.eclipse.swt.browser.DefaultType=mozilla" to the end of my eclipse.ini. I have no idea how I found that. It took a lot of random searching.
Now, I get an exception whenever I open a WOComponent:
Unhandled event loop exception
No more handles [Could not detect registered XULRunner to use]
Trying to define a XULRunnerPath just gives me even stranger errors.
I can file a bug with eclipse (which I did). I tried eclipse 4.2 and 4.4 and got other complicated integration issues. I can file a bug with mozilla (though I was not aware that they were involved). I can install a copy of xulrunner (outside of my copy of Firefox) and point to that (which I did). I can file a bug with ubuntu launchpad (which I did). None of these get you very much response.
So, I was going from one LTS to another LTS. 14.04 - 14.02 = 0.02. Not a huge deal, yes? Should I have expected problems? How can I file a bug with the people involved in just this upgrade and not the other twelve systems that this touches upon?
I had Apple laptops for a long time. I do not expect that amount of hand-holding. But I do wish someone would throw me a bone.
I can get work done if I go buy another hard disk, install 12.04 onto it and copy all of my data back. Is this really necessary? You know, I am willing to help integration testing of these releases. But the systems for finding the right place to put my oar in the water seem fairly impenetrable. Any suggestions? I do not mind working for a solution. If there is a solution.
Ray,
Did you try Eclipse 4.4 and use the instructions on the wiki for compiling the new WOLips? the Eclipse 4.4 is acting just fine for me (but I'm on a Mac sorry :( )

netbeans plugin update constantly freezes at 50%

I've been trying to update my netbeans plugins ever since 7.0.1, but I've never been able to get beyond half of the installation bar. It just freezes at around 50% each time. After I close the IDE, it will attempt to update but fail. I've updated to 7.1 but the issue still persists even for the initial Junit plugin installation after a fresh installation of 7.1.
I've attached a screenshot. Does anybody know what is the issue here?
I read in the Definitive Guide to NB Platform 7.1 that you have to install NetBeans (well because of the JUnit) into the folder, where it has write rights. Which is not the Progam Files in Windows 7.
So try to install it for example into C:\Programs or something like that. You can install new version (7.1.1) even without uninstalling the older one and then let the NB get your previous settings (it will ask).
You can try temporarily disabling your firewall and/or antivirus. I got the same problem, and disabling AVG Internet Security everything worked fine. Hope it helps!
I think that problem is in network. So try to change network you are on. I am using university network that has many policies and only JUnit plugin installation stucks. Went to local wireles public network and JUnit plugin was installed successfully.
