Okay, so I had a working content model and share config in alfresco community 4.2.e. I had to reinstall alfresco and I updated to version 4.2.f. When I start tomcat I can log into alfresco, but when I try to load share it takes like 10 minutes to load and when it has loaded and I try to login it says "not availible or wrong login" after 3 minutes.
Here is the content model: http://pastebin.com/2wMJe3YL
.And the share config: http://pastebin.com/n1YK6i60
--edit1--
The alfresco.log: http://pastebin.com/PaiAUv9n
The alfrescotomcat-stdout(date).log: http://pastebin.com/RZ4fVJ8G
In the 2nd log I noticed it says refused connection, can the problem be that I changed some ports on the reinstallation from alfresco?
-- end edit1--
Alfresco does work with no content model and share config used and Alfresco works with the standard content model and share config.
Thanks in advance.
Solution: The problem was that I thought that the reinstall of alfresco would be enough to change the ports and it is, but I forgot to add some code in MY share config. The code I mean can be found here: https://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Changing_Default_Port_Configuration thanks to: Gagravarr

I have the following problem:
After trying to change the entry point to my website in the backend of my TYPO3 system (by using the site config), I cannot access neither my backend nor my frontend of the website anymore. Whenever I try to access the site it says "Oops, an error occurred! The parsedUri "https://" appears to be malformed".
What I have tried, is accessing the config.yaml on my webserver to change the baseURL inside of the config, but no matter what I change it to, it doesn't seem to work, as I always get the same error message even uploading the changed config file (what I mean by that is, that the text inside the error message doesn't change to reflect the new url but stays "https://").
I hope that someone who is more experienced in TYPO3 can help me solve this issue. I couldn't really find a working solution after extensively searching so far. Thanks a lot in advance.
After changing the yaml file of the site configuration, you need to clear all caches, either via the install tool (yourdomain.tld/typo3/install.php) or by deleting all files in the directories var/cache/code and var/cache/data.
I'm working on setting up and migration of old sites to a new server from Dreamhost. I have 130 sites to migrate. 1 is successful. The version is: 1.12.1
The mods in the first site upgraded well. No problems. Have a procedure to migrate. That being said, the second site, as I followed my own documentation, fails when I try to access /admin/index.php
What I get is this below:
So, this is more informational than code... so please forgive me. I don't understand why CMS MADE SIMPLE is actually not simple.
That seems like an annoying issue. Forgive any repetition but here is what I would check:
that is is 100% functioning on existing server
correct php version 5.4.3+ (5.6+ recommended) on new server
that all files & database are copied fully & without errors
config.php settings are updated for new hosting & database
that .htaccess, php.ini/.user.ini settings are appropriate
check php error log
are there any additional modules installed that may require additional php modules
try more coffee or a nights sleep - both have helped me solve all sorts of issue in the past!
consider posting on CMSMS forum - will get a wider range of CMSMS users/experience and suggestions
Good luck
Chris
Not sure what process you are using. So presuming that the site was working correctly on existing hosting and that the new hosting meets recommended requirements, especially PHP version:
Export database
Zip/Compress all website files into a single file
Copy zipped file to new hosting
Create new database & user with full access
Unzip files and make sure that they are in the right location (probably website root)
CHMOD config.php to 0644 and edit database, username & password settings for new hosting, CHMOD back to 0444
Make sure .htaccess is using correct settings for new hosting
Login to admin and clear cache
Sorry that the instructions are so basic, but the process really is Simple.
Possible issues can occur if:
the PHP version is older than 5.4.3 (5.6+ recommended).
files copied individually using ftp and some are corrupted/not copied.
Apart from that it is pretty straight forward.
Hope it helps
I've got a Problem i can't upload any Media files in my Typo3 Backend.
If i choose a file in the Element browser I get a Internal Server Error 500, If i use upload i get this Error: Link Error
I also can't see the Thumbnails
I made the Files tyo3conf, fileadmin, typo3 and typo3temp with 777 access.
Imagemagick is also running and shows me all Test images.
Can anybody help me, I dont't know what do do.
The TYPO3 Version I use is: 6.1.0
I get a Internal Server Error 500
Have a look in your TYPO3 log accessible by the "log" backend module. If you can't find something there, get access to your vhost error log from the webserver. Usually, some sort of view capabilities are provided by some hoster control panels. Since it is a server error, you usually have to check the server log.
I also can't see the Thumbnails
Check your install tool again and play with the different options there. Also check that, in install tool > basic configuration, you have set the default paths (maybe let the install tool search again). You may see the test images, but if they're not generated correctly or display warnings, it may not work correctly.
Generally said: It is not really programming related, so IMHO not a fit for stackoverflow.com. Ask for help on irc.freenode.net in the #typo3 channel, this may be more helpful.
I'm currently developing a web project running on Tomcat 7 and I cannot see anything who's suppose to be on Tomcat (blank page when I do a HTTP request in my browser).
My Modus Operandi:
I launch a new instance of server in locahost (apache-tomcat-7.0.34) within Eclipse (I work with Indigo and tried with Juno as well)
Tomcat's ROOT folder has been pasted in the 'wtpwebapps' folder of all my servers in my Workspace
I add a simple web project on this server instance and try to access it from a HTTP request and I get a blank page. If I try to run a .html file of this web project on this server, I get a 'HTTP 404 Not Found' Error.
What I tried:
I tried to build the whole configuration from scratch (new Eclipse, new Apache-Tomcat) and I still get the same result. But when I do that from my personal computer at home, everything's working fine!!
I tried to put an old version of my code or a tutorial project, but nothing can be launched (therefore, it must be a configuration issue).
I checked the server.xml and web.xml files and nothing looks suspicious (I can paste them if you want but those are the same than those who worked at home)
The only thing I can think of is that I changed the internet connection (and the IP address) of the computer I'm working on, but I don't think it could make any difference when trying to reach localhost, right?
When I follow the steps of the very good tutorial, I do get a blank page on the 'Run Tomcat' topic, but I don't get the Tomcat welcome page once I copied the ROOT folder into "wtpwebapps".
Does someone have any idea where it could come from?
Ok guys, finally got the solution.
I was about to format my computer when i realize that the port 8009 was actually used by another process.
I thought that's the kind of things who are checked when you launch a Tomcat server within Eclipse but it didn't show any error.
The HTTP request went through the port 80, but as the default AJP port is already in use, Apache could not forward this request to Tomcat, therefore a blank page was returned.
At least that's my understanding of this situation...
Hopefully this may help someone who'd run into a similar situation.
Thanks for your help.
I have downloaded and installed Zend Server community edition. I am on a mac.
I have tried to changed the path in
/usr/local/zend/apache2/conf/httpd.conf
so that it pointed at a test file in my documents folder. However, when I type
http://localhost:10081/test.php
into my browser, I just get 404- page not found.
Any suggestions? I am new to web stuff and don't really know what I'm doing wrong.
