Foundation 5 Reveal modal, remove background - popup

I'm having some issues trying to remove the reveal modal background
The documentation gives several options but none of them work:
http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/components/reveal.html
Remove background:
<div class="reveal-modal-bg" style="display: none"></div>
Optional Javascript Configuration:
Reveal options can only be passed in during initialization at this time. However, you can bind to the open, opened, close, and closed events.
I tried returning this object literal in the event callback, but that doesn't work:
$(document).on('open.fndtn.reveal', '[data-reveal]', function () {
return {bg_class: 'noBackground'}
});
{
animation: 'fadeAndPop',
animation_speed: 250,
close_on_background_click: true,
dismiss_modal_class: 'close-reveal-modal',
bg_class: 'reveal-modal-bg',
root_element: 'body',
bg : $('.reveal-modal-bg'),
css : {
open : {
'opacity': 0,
'visibility': 'visible',
'display' : 'block'
},
close : {
'opacity': 1,
'visibility': 'hidden',
'display': 'none'
}
}
}
Can you please help?
thx,

Don't use display: none, just use css and set the background color to transparent in your css (you need to load your css after foundation's in order to override its styles) - though I'm not sure why you'd want to?:
.reveal-modal {
background-color: transparent;}

Not the nicest option, but a quick fix would be to use:
style="display: none!important"
For the "reveal-modal-bg".

Remove status bar and keep resize icon in tinymce 4

I am trying to remove the status bar and keep the resize icon in tinymce just like a normal text area resizer. Any idea ?
elementpath
This option allows you to disable the element path within the status bar at the bottom of the editor.
Type:
Boolean
Default Value:
true
Possible Values:
true, false
Example
tinymce.init({
selector:'textarea',// change this value according to your HTML
elementpath:false
});
TinyMCE does not support what you are trying to do via configuration. The resize handle is only visible via the status bar.
Unfortunately, there is no way to do it via component settings. But you can try and change css:
your-tiny-mce-textarea .mce-path.mce-flow-layout-item {
display: none !important;
}
UPD: This one seems more pretty:
your-tiny-mce-textarea.mce-statusbar {
border: 0 !important;
}
your-tiny-mce-textarea.mce-path {
display: none !important;
}
Maybe this will help someone in future, you can remove the entire status bar with the following option
tinymce.init({
selector: 'textarea', // change this value according to your HTML
statusbar: false
});

How to Set Width of sap.m.MessagePopover?

The control sap.m.MessagePopover has an attribute _oPopover (containing sap.m.Popover inside).
Using this attribute, I could set the popover width:
messagePopover._oPopover.setContentWidth("450px");
However, as SAP attributes starting from _ should not be used, does anybody know a cleaner way?
As of UI5 version 1.46, a more flexible control sap.m.MessageView can be used instead of the old sap.m.MessagePopover.
There is no need to access internal properties or apply custom CSS style classes to manipulate the width as you can put MessageView anywhere you want (Still, Fiori Guideline recommends to use it only within a responsive popover or a dialog).
const popover = new ResponsivePopover({
contentWidth: "450px",
contentHeight: "450px",
content: [
/*myMessageView*/
],
});
// ...
popover.openBy(...);
Compared to MessagePopover, MessageView can group items and more.
Internally, MessagePopover uses MessageView too.
Another solution would be to use CSS class. However, there is a catch. As you can see from below generated DOM of the message popover, inline styling has been used :( .
Only way to override inline-style is by using !important in CSS which is again not recommended approach. However, considering inline CSS has been used, I would go with using !important keyword. Below is the working code:
XML Code ( for adding Class):
<MessagePopover id='myMP' class='myPopoverClass'>
<items>
<MessagePopoverItem title='Title' subTitle='SubTitle'></MessagePopoverItem>
</items>
</MessagePopover>
CSS:
.myPopoverClass {
width:100rem;
}
.myPopoverClass .sapMPopoverCont {
width:100% !important;
}
You can play around with how much width you need for message Popover.
EDIT: This is from the source code:
MessagePopover.prototype.init = function () {
var that = this;
var oPopupControl;
this._oResourceBundle = sap.ui.getCore().getLibraryResourceBundle("sap.m");
this._oPopover = new ResponsivePopover(this.getId() + "-messagePopover", {
showHeader: false,
contentWidth: "440px",
placement: this.getPlacement(),
showCloseButton: false,
modal: false,
afterOpen: function (oEvent) {
that.fireAfterOpen({openBy: oEvent.getParameter("openBy")});
},
afterClose: function (oEvent) {
that._navContainer.backToTop();
that.fireAfterClose({openBy: oEvent.getParameter("openBy")});
},
beforeOpen: function (oEvent) {
that.fireBeforeOpen({openBy: oEvent.getParameter("openBy")});
},
beforeClose: function (oEvent) {
that.fireBeforeClose({openBy: oEvent.getParameter("openBy")});
}
}).addStyleClass(CSS_CLASS);

Disable back fade popup

Is it possible to disable the popup backfade?
I tried this:
My popup controller:
var popupInvalid = $ionicPopup.alert({
templateUrl: 'templates/popup-template-invalid.html',
cssClass: 'success-popup',
scope: $scope
})
Sass:
.success-popup{
.backdrop {
opacity: 0 !important;
}
}
But I did not succeed
Thanks
Unfortunately the backdrop is a sibling of .popup-container, which then contains your popup. So the only option you have is to globally modify the .backdrop class, e.g.:
.backdrop
{
background-color: transparent;
}
Check this example: http://play.ionic.io/app/8f14ab72d922
Unfortunately this influences all other popups in your application as well.

How to disable default 'Click to edit' on Jeditable?

I'm using the jeditable plugin for making some values editable. I noticed that when a value is empty the default text 'Click top edit' appears which I don't want. But I still want to make that field editable too. How to manage this?
I noticed a suggestion at http://www.datatables.net/forums/discussion/5865/jeditable-and-default-click-to-edit/p1, but that does not seem to work - at least not for me; when using the placeholder : "" the field is not editable anymore.
My related code:
$('.edit').editable('edit_save.php', {
cancel : 'Cancel',
submit : 'OK'
});//$('.edit').editable('jeditable_save.php', {
Without any text to fill it, the editable element needs to be an inline block with height and width like this:
.edit {
border: 1px solid red;
display: inline-block;
min-height: 20px;
min-width: 100px;
}
and set a blank placeholder like you mentioned:
$('.edit').editable(function (value, settings) {
return value;
}, {
cssclass: 'editing',
placeholder: '',
});
See this fiddle http://jsfiddle.net/chrisdillon/37JqF/
I tried add this row: placeholder:'
&
nbsp;' and it works.
If you can add this row, you see your input is empty.
$('.edit').editable('Something', {
something,...
placeholder:' ',
})

Current plugins for padding in TinyMCE

I've been looking for hours to find a plugin that would add somthing like "padding: 5px" to an image. Does everyone do this through plain html? Our customer need a way to add this simply with the use of a button or right click context menu. Any suggestions/solutions or do I have to develop this myself?
Suggestions concerning other products than TinyMCE is not necessary.
The easiest to use is to add a custom stylesheet which only need to be set as a parameter (content_css). Example code snippet for the tinymce configuration:
...
theme: 'advanced',
content_css: "http://my_server/my_css/my_custom_css_file.css",
...
This css should contain something like the following
img {
padding-left: 5px;
}
The code for the tinymce button is a bit more complex (but if wised i can post it as well) and the css gets set using the following
$(ed.get('my_editor_id').getBody()).find('img').css('padding-left','5px');
UPDATE: Button code:
tinyMCE.init({
...
setup : function(ed) {
ed.onInit.add(function(ed, evt) {
ed.addButton ('wrap_div', {
'title' : 'my title',
'image' : 'my_image.png',
'onclick' : function () {
ed.getBody().find('img').css('padding-left','5px');
}
});
});
}
});
