Is there an option to add remote repository in Xcode server 4.0?
After clicking on + button, I only get the option to add new local repo.
That feature is gone it seems. Was looking for it as well, but it is nowhere to be found.
Figured it out. Remote repository is handled automatically by server when you create a bot via Xcode.

I have setup NuGet.Server 3.3+ on Windows 10 IIS
[Working][1]
I can browse already inited packages on the server
When I try and push a known working package to my server
nuget push webgrease.1.6.0.nupkg -Source http://localhost/NuGetSrv/nuget
I get
I get 404
In fiddler the package is sent it looks to be a security issue on the server when it goes to write the file
I have use not network service / classic app pool and also tried admin account for the app pool
Also tried local c:\somedir and a \server\share
I had the same problem :/
If you can get packages but not add
Make sure you have the application pool set to Integrated and not Classic and your network share will work for pushing packages
If you're working on Azure, #HoopSnake's answer still apply, but its worderd differently.
In the App Service => Application Settings => Managed Pipeline Version set this to Integrated.
Atleast, that's what fixed it for me
Im using SourceTree in the actual version (1.7.0.32509).
I got a notebook(before win8.1) and a Desktop(before win7) with it and upgraded both devices to win10.
When i want to register Host-Accounts for my repositories it works fine on the notebook, but with the excaxt same configuration (directories, installation, etc) it fails me on my desktop which reports a
System.Security.CryptographcException:AccessDenied
when attempting to store a password.
Seems there is no solution to this on the net which works for me atm.
Thanks for any replies in advance.
I solved the problem by creating a new windows user and setup all from scratch.
This was the only solution at sourcetree forums as well.
On GitHub Desktop (I use it on Windows), I have had this error over the last few days:
My Internet connection seems to work fine though. What could cause the issue?
Is your internet connection goes through firewall/proxy server. I found that GitHub Windows client is only reliably works when no proxy enabled. Being windows (.NET to be precise) application it takes proxy settings as they defined in Internet Explorer connection settings. Meanwhile, Git itself, which GitHub Windows client desktop application simply uses via command prompt, is governed by http and https proxy settings in .gitconfig file or environment variables. This discrepancy makes it quite sophisticated to setup.
What's interesting, is that desktop app was working the first time I installed it fresh (never had it on this Windows), but it wasn't able to connect to GitHub. Then I started to fiddle with --global http/https settings and I broke the app. Now, even uninstalling and installing it back again, I still have connectivity issues, as it seems to remember settings somewhere, as it doesn't prompt me with welcome screen and does remember my name.
Worth to mention, that even if the app complains about connection, I can clone the repo with it.
This worked for me:
In Internet Explorer: Tools/Internet Options/Connections/LAN Settings
Uncheck "Use a Proxy server..."
Restart GitHub.
You might also be able to disable the Proxy Server via Edge. In my case, I found that after turning it off in IE, it was off in Edge also.
Edit: I also had to update the GitHub application in order to be able to clone to my local repository.
I'm trying Windows Azure now.
I have been following instruction from
https://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/develop/java/java-home/download-the-windows-azure-sdk-for-java/
I'm running on eclipse helios, but when i try to install new software and enter url repository :http://dl.windowsazure.com/eclipse
Eclipse always timeout,
message on message box like bellow :
Unable to connect to repository http://dl.windowsazure.com/eclipse/content.xml
Unable to connect to repository http://dl.windowsazure.com/eclipse/content.xml
Connection timed out: connect
How to solve this, i very need it to deploy my first app on Windows Azure platform
Help me to solve this, please
Now i try to runnning azure project on Cloud Azure, but why when i try to upload cspkg file and cscfg file, the process always timeout, whereas connection is running normally when i look on ping -t
this is message when i try upload on azure hosting service :
Uploading the selected package has failed, please verify your network connection and try again.
How to solve this issue ?
it's very strange error. >-<
I think there is some problem with your network connection as I have just tested the same download location and it does work perfectly fine as below:
As you can see below I am using http://dl.windowsazure.com/eclipse URL to download the Java specific Azure components:
After that once I select "Next", the following two components are listed to be installed in my machine:
Microsoft JDBC Drive 3.0 for SQL Server (This will work with SQL Azure)
Windows Azure Plugin for Eclipse with Java
I am sure that the problem is specific to your network connection so please have it corrected.
Yes, it's foolish of me, i forget to shutting down my proxy server on My compute. After i disable it,everything gonna be alright :D
Thanks
surely I haven't meet this situation before , but just for your additional information..
Have you follow this step on installing azure #eclipse? like .net version must be >= 3.5
here are some source link for your help http://www.windowsazure4e.org/download/
I haven’t worked with Windows Azure Java SDK. But the error message is complaining the file C:\Users\workspace\AzureFirst\emulatorTools\ResetEmulator.cmd cannot be found. It would be better if you can check whether the file exists. In addition, the call stack points out you’re using Windows Azure SDK 1.4. Please try to upgrade it to 1.6 to see whether it works fine. You can find SDK 1.6 on http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=28045. Please install WindowsAzureEmulator and WindowsAzureSDK. The WindowsAzureLibsForNet is not needed if you don’t want to use .NET.

I am currently looking at setting up an Ipad app project into subversion.
Ive had a lot of experience with windows based development and .net. With this we have just created a repository in a network folder (by just right clicking -> TortiseSVN -> create repository) , than all we have done is our developers have checked out from this directory.
How do we go about doing this in xcode. I know subversion is integrated with xcode and I am pretty confident of doing everything (from tutorials) except for the creation of the repository.
Just wondering how we go about creating a repository in a folder based up on network folder?
Thanks in advance
Google for the svn book.
It should have everything you need to know with the exception of Xcode specifics.
Honestly, you probably don't want to create a repository on someone's development machine, especially if you are giving people network access.
You should setup an actual SVN server or use an online service.
Here is a question posted in 2009: SVN server for the Mac that's easy to set up?
Here is the "official" Ubuntu guide if you chose to run the SVN server on top of Ubuntu (which is my recommendation). Google for "install svn ubuntu".
Sorry I can't post multiple links yet.
Not 100% sure since I mainly use the terminal for svn operations on mac but
if you go in XCode to the scm you can configure the repositories for your project
once that is set up (I guess you know how to do this form your question), you simply you can go scm->repositories
select the one you want and you can then modify it
