SVN throws error when checking out force.com project - eclipse

I am receiving the following error when I checkout a force.com project using SVN with Eclipse Kepler or Luna:
"An internal error occurred during: Applying updates to newly added force.com projects."
I had previously been able to check out projects in Eclipse. Now I get this error no matter what project I checkout.
Can someone help me?
Thanks.

Check your network connection and SVN plugin in eclipse
Preferences--> General--> Network
Check for proxy if you have any proxy settings
Try to search in the market place(Help-->Eclipse market place) for
any other plugins, this ensure you are able to connect to internet.
Try to re-install the SVN or refresh from Repo

Can not share new project with Subversive SVN in Eclipse Neon

I just downloaded a fresh Eclipse JEE Neon.1a Release (4.6.1) on my Windows 10 machine.
I went to the marketplace to get the latest Subversive SVN Team Provider 4.0.2.
Trying to install results in the Message: The following solutions are not available: SVN Team Provider 4.0.2.
I chose to continue anyways, and it seemed to work.
After the restart, i chose the SVNKit 1.8.14 Subversive SVN Connector and installed without any issues.
Now I was able to do basic SVN operations, all seemed fine.
Except to share a new project. I created a new Project called "test" and tried to share as a new project.
That results in the Message:
Share project was failed.
Can't overwrite cause with org.tmatesoft.svn.core.SVNException: svn: E160013: URL 'http://sol:3380/svn/repo/test' non-existent in that revision.
I tried to share a new project to another SVN Server, same error message.
I repeated the whole process on different machines, same message.
I Installed SVN Team Provider directly from the Update Site instead of the Marketplace. Same Issue.
I went to the SVNKit website to try older Versions of SVNKit and installed via the archived Update Sites, but they wont even show up in the SVN Connector Chooser in Eclipse.
I really dont know what to do anymore, can anyone help me to get it work?
I hope this solution will help you as it helped me. I think your problem is related to an unmatched client/server version. Neon subversive version is 4 and related svn connector is 1.8. But you probably need an svn connector 1.7 as it was in my case. Try the next steps and let me know if it works. Otherwise let me know the point in which you get in trouble.
go to help > installation details > filter by "svn" > uninstall everything related to subversive, subclipse and svn connectors
restart eclipse
to to help > install new software > work with > use the previous major subversive version from this URL: http://download.eclipse.org/technology/subversive/3.0/update-site/
install at least the plug-in and the integrations
restart eclipse
it will probably not ask you for a connector to be installed because you have already installed one previously, so go to window > preferences > team > svn > svn connector tab > get connectors > 1.7! (you can install all of them, the important thing is the one you choose in the combo box, it must be 1.7)
try the svn check-out process again
bye!
Bug was fixed yesterday. So just update.
I uninstalled the SVNKit 1.8.14, and it worked for me.

Unable to connect to repository http://download.eclipse.org/releases/luna/compositeContent.xml

I am getting the below error while trying to "install a new software" from eclipse-Luna.
Unable to connect to repository http://download.eclipse.org/releases/luna/compositeContent.xml
Unable to connect to repository http://download.eclipse.org/releases/luna/compositeContent.xml
Connection timed out: connect
Can someone please helpme in resolving this?
First, please be sure you are using Eclipse Luna to install software from Luna Repo.
http://download.eclipse.org/releases/luna/compositeContent.xml
is not reachable and gives 404 Not Found;
Use eclipse marketplace or work with Eclipse Luna Repository
Still have same problem check your eclipse version.

Access visualsvn server from eclipse

When I enter the url for the server into a browser (Chrome, Firefox) I can access the repository if I accept the security exception.
When I enter the url into svn repository location in eclipse, along with the user name and password, I get an error occured while accessing the repository entry.
The error from eclipse is SVN: 0x00400006: Validate Repository Location operation finished with error: Selected SVN connector library is not available or cannot be loaded.
The instructions from this site worked
http://www.polarion.com/products/svn/subversive/download.php
In eclipse, go to help/install new software
Add the site
http://community.polarion.com/projects/subversive/download/eclipse/3.0/juno-site/
Install the svn connectors and svnkit.
Now, I can reach the server repository from eclipse. It may be helpful to use New / project from repository.

Unable to contact Juno download site

I am trying to download m2e for Eclipse Juno but for some reasons I have problems contacting the update site.
I was not able to download from the marketplace, which claimed dependencies are missing.
Then I tried to use the Juno update site (under install new software...) but received this error :
Unable to read repository at http://download.eclipse.org/releases/juno/.
Unable to read repository at http://download.eclipse.org/releases/juno/.
No repository found at http://download.eclipse.org/releases/juno/201209280900.
What is the solution?
The solution I found was to a use the site shown in the error with the addition of '/'
http://download.eclipse.org/releases/juno/201209280900/
