Unable to contact Juno download site - eclipse

I am trying to download m2e for Eclipse Juno but for some reasons I have problems contacting the update site.
I was not able to download from the marketplace, which claimed dependencies are missing.
Then I tried to use the Juno update site (under install new software...) but received this error :
Unable to read repository at http://download.eclipse.org/releases/juno/.
Unable to read repository at http://download.eclipse.org/releases/juno/.
No repository found at http://download.eclipse.org/releases/juno/201209280900.
What is the solution?

The solution I found was to a use the site shown in the error with the addition of '/'
http://download.eclipse.org/releases/juno/201209280900/

AWS Toolkit for Eclipse Luna 4.4.1 does not install

I have Eclipse Luna 4.4.1. While trying to install AWS Toolkit from the url, http://aws.amazon.com/eclipse or from Eclipse marketplace url https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/aws-toolkit-eclipse#group-external-install-button (using drag and drop button), following error happens,
Unable to read repository at http://aws.amazon.com/eclipse/site.xml/content.xml.
Unable to read repository at http://aws.amazon.com/eclipse/site.xml/content.xml.
peer not authenticated
Sometimes it lists down the components available for install but everytime it fails with above error. One thing I noticed is content.xml urls does not seem to be valid or are being interpreted as a invalid URL.
Request help.
Regards
An incorrect URL is specified for the Eclipse Marketplace item AWS Toolkit for Eclipse (the URL should not end with site.xml).
Instead of using drag and drop, you have to use Help > Install with the correct URL http://aws.amazon.com/eclipse/

Installing m2e plugin into Eclipse

I need to install m2e plugin. I was given a link
http://eclipse.org/m2e/download/
but it says that file is not found.
Then I tried https://www.eclipse.org/m2e/, went to the download link http://download.eclipse.org/technology/m2e/releases
Its said there that I have to go to the Eclipse->Help->Install New Software
and in the text_field named Work with type http://Update site location
and press Enter
After I did it, I've got message
org.eclipse.equinox.p2.core.ProvisionException
Unable to read repository at http:/content.xml
Unable to read repository at http:/content.xml
Use the main software site for your release of Eclipse.
For example for Eclipse Luna this is http://download.eclipse.org/releases/luna, the site should already be in the 'Work with' list.
Search for 'maven' or 'm2e'

unable install svn plugin in eclipse

i want install svn plugin with eclipse. and i found this site for instruction
http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/documentation/gettingStarted/aboutSubversive/install.php
and i give following download link on my "Help-- Install New Software" option
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/subversive/1.0/update-site-1.0.1/
but when i try to download the plugin eclipse give me following error
i dont why ?
Quote from your tutorial:
On the 'Add Repository' form enter the URL to the Subversive update site.
The proper URL can be found on http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/downloads.php.
Also the update-site for Subversive integration plug-ins can be added in
the same way.
The link provided above is not the update-repository, its just an information page where you can find the latest repository URL.
Try this one:
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/subversive/1.0/update-site-1.0.1/
Hope this helpes, have Fun!

Eclipse - Cannot install subclipse / subversive

I am unable to install new plugins to eclipse (tried subclipse and subversive). Installing fails around 47/48 %. This happens with both Helios and Indigo. I tried installing via Help>Install New Software and Help>Eclipse Marketplace.
Errors in both versions are about the same:
An error occurred while collecting items to be installed

I don't think it's my internet connection as I'm having no issues browsing the web and multiple tracert tests work fine. I have tried removing the sites from available software sites and tried setting Active Provider in network connects to both direct and native.
Please help. Thanks
I also faced the same issues and resolved with following steps:
Check all .jar files that are causing errors "Unable to read repository at..."and "Read timed out"
Manually download those .jar files
Manually put .jar to eclipse's "\plugins" folder
Again start installation
Won’t get error
You done.
These are the steps to follow while Enable SVN in Eclipse Version: 2018-12 (4.10.0):
Visit this link: http://subclipse.tigris.org/ to get the “Eclipse update site URL” for Subclipse plugin. As of now Feb 2019 its move to location - https://github.com/subclipse/subclipse/wiki
Here you can https://dl.bintray.com/subclipse/releases/subclipse/latest/
Basic Steps:
Help>Install New Software.
Click on Add - Give name: Subversive
https://dl.bintray.com/subclipse/releases/subclipse/latest/
Install all the components, and accept the license.
Restart the eclipse.
Thanks.
I had the same issue with Windows 7 / 64bit / Eclipse Java EE Juno SR1.
I got around the issue by installing Subversive via the Eclipse Marketplace rather than with "Install new Software" using the Eclipse Juno update site.
I had exactly the same problem with EGit and the above solved it as well.
It worked for me by downloading and installing subclipse locally, from here : http://subclipse.tigris.org/files/documents/906/49270/site-1.8.20.zip
