TYPO3 Backend is locked! #1270853884: TYPO3 Fatal Error - typo3

My TYPO3 Backend is locked after i changed the password (root) in the phpMyAdmin Extension in the backend. After that everything was locked and i get this error: #1270853884: TYPO3 Fatal Error: The current username, password or host was not accepted when the connection to the database was attempted to be established!
But the InstallTool is not locked so can make changes in there.
I searched in the internet for some solution but didn't find anything helpful.
What can i do now?

First of all you should not connect your TYPO3-System with the MySQL root user to your specific database. Add a MySQL user that is only privileged to the needed TYPO3 database.
You can edit your database credentials within the TYPO3 Install Tool without being connected to the database.
The database connection credentials will be stored in:
TYPO3 4.x: typo3conf/localconf.php
TYPO3 6.x and later: typo3conf/LocalConfiguration.php

My problem was a corrupt innodb file. The table "tx_realurl_urlcache" was the reason. To solve the problem i just truncated this table and restarted mysql. After the restart everything worked again.
In detail:
Because the topics about changing typo3 config did not help me i checked the systems syslog file and found out the mysql system printed a lot of errors. Especially the entry "InnoDB: Database page corruption on disk or a failed" helped me finding out what my problem was.
By checking the database sizes i found out that the size of my typo3-database was very large (more than 1.5 GB). So i checked which tables use the space. The biggest one was tx_realurl_urlcache which used more than 1 GB. Because this is just a cache-table i truncated it and restarted the mysql service. This solved the problem.

pgadmin db restriction server property not working

I have a heroku postgres database. On pgadmin i can see over 1,700 databases since they are all on the same host. I have set the server connection settings as provided by heroku and i can see my database highlighted in yellow and can access it normally.
I tried disconnecting from the server than edit the db restriction property in the advanced tab and put in my database name(same one as the maintenance db, and without ''). I press save, i reconnect to the server but i can still see all the databases of the server and all the live data of the entire server. Am i missing something?
DonĀ“t download the latest version of pgadmin 4(v.6.10), instead download the v.6.9
link:
https://www.postgresql.org/ftp/pgadmin/pgadmin4/v6.9/windows/
I believe that latest version is buged when we try to especify a dbname for restriction
uninstall 4(v.6.10) and replace (v.6.9)
i faced the same problem here, but installed (v.6.9) and worked great, and brings me only my database
for pgadmin4 you dont need single quotes ... just write the dbname and then tab

Firebird error: cannot start transaction for password database

I am looking for some help - today my firebird database has stopped opening the database files with the following error:
engine code: 335544654
engine message: cannot start transaction for password database
I've tried googling but can't find any resources that have any relevant information.
Thanks
I eventually got this resolved by doing a number of restores of the security2.fdb database.
In my case, there was not enough data space in /var.
I cleared the contents of "/var/spool/clientmqueue/".

xWiki 6.3. changing database (HSQL to PostgreSQL) and migrating data

I have an instance of xWiki 6.3 running on default database i.e. HSQL.
I need to move it to PostgreSQL database.
I have installed PostgreSQL and have followed following steps from documentation to point xWiki 6.3 to my new PostgreSQL database.
1 - Copied jdbc drivers at required path in xwiki
2 - In xwiki.cfg file, I have un-commented following two lines
xwiki.store.migration=1 (was already un-commented)
xwiki.store.migration.databases= all
3 - commented hsql related section in hibernate.cfg.xml and have un-commented and updated PostgreSQL related section with required information.
After that, once I start my xWiki 6.3 instance, it shows me a home page with Add Button. However none of the existing content is visible.
I can see that all the tables are moved to postgreSQL if I connect to Database.
Also, I am unable to login with the admin account that was working when the application was running on hsql.
Any idea if I am missing something ?
Regards,
I don't think your process will port any existing data (i.e. the rows, ather than the tables) from one database to the other, not least because your configuration will only know about one database at a time. I suggest you follow the guidelines to export your content as a XAR while configured for HSQL and then import it again once you've reconfigured for PostgreSQL.

Couldn't drop staging_database : #<PG::ConnectionBad: FATAL: no pg_hba.conf

For a system that I am using, I run into the problem pasted on the title when I try to drop a database and recreate it. More specifically, this is the exact problem that I am facing:
Couldn't drop staging_databse : #<PG::ConnectionBad: FATAL: no pg_hba.conf entry for host xxx.xx.xxxx.xxx, user "ruby", database "postgres", SSL off
I've done some research regarding this problem and it seems that the solution is simply to turn on SSL. I've consulted Postgresql Documentation on pg_hba.conf but I'm unable to find this configuration file.
I typed in locate postgresql and I noticed that there is a postgresql-client-9.2 installed on the system. From what I have determined, I won't find this pg_hba.conf file because the client doesn't have it. I've also looked for the postgresql.conf file on SSL according to the official documentation but this file is not included either.
Finally, the documentation shows me this configuration option of the pgsql 9.2 client shown below:
libpq reads the system-wide OpenSSL configuration file. By default,
this file is named openssl.cnf and is located in the directory reported by
openssl version -d. This default can be overridden by setting environment
variable OPENSSL_CONF to the name of the desired configuration file.
However, this too isn't in my system. I've run the linux find command and this file doesn't seem to be there. I've run out of leagues and I have a sneaking suspicion that I am overlooking something very simple. Is there any other leads I can go on? Thanks.
Based on this message and the rest of the context:
FATAL: no pg_hba.conf entry for host xxx.xx.xxxx.xxx, user "ruby", database "postgres", SSL off
It looks plausible that:
you're connecting to a remote PostgreSQL instance which you don't administrate because you're acting as developer, not admin.
the db management layer tries to connect to the database named postgres in order to drop another database (staging_database) . It's necessary indeed because we can't drop a database when we're connected to it (in fact, a database can't be dropped when anyone is connected to it).
the admin policy established by the remote pg_hba.conf is such that your login and IP address together are not allowed to connect to the database named postgres
These facts combined together imply that you're missing the necessary rights to drop your database, even if indirectly.
At this point you want to submit the problem to the admin responsible for that PostgreSQL server.

PostgreSQL issue: could not access file "$libdir/plpgsql": No such file or directory

I get this exception in PostgreSQL:

I searched a lot and most solution points to a wrong installation. But this is my test db which has been running without issues for a long time. Also inserts are working. Issue occurs only on select queries.
Apparently, you moved your PostgreSQL lib directory out of place. To confirm this, try the following in psql:
> SET client_encoding TO iso88591;
ERROR: could not access file "$libdir/utf8_and_iso8859_1": No such file or directory
If you get an error message like this, then my theory is correct. You'll need to find out where those files ended up, or you can reinstall PostgreSQL to restore them.
To find out what $libdir is referring to, run the following command:
pg_config --pkglibdir
For me, this produces:
/usr/lib/postgresql
I have the same problem: the other postgres server instance (8.4) was interfering with the 9.1 one; when the 8.4 instance is removed it works.
the other instance can sometimes be removed from the system while still running (e.g. you do a gentoo update and a depclean without stopping and migrating your data). so the error seems particularly mysterious.
the solution is usually going to be doing a slot install/eselect of the old version (in gentoo terms, or simply downgrading on other distros), running its pg_dumpall, and then uninstalling/reinstalling the new version and importing the data.
this worked pretty painlessly for me
