I installed a new instance of hybris server in a VM and made it available on a public internet page. I am trying to call the Product resource REST server or even a simple list of countries REST service.
http://xxx.xxx.com/ws410/rest/countries
However, I am getting an error with the status "HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found". Please can you help me?
Am I missing something? Should I Configure ws410 path somewhere?
Did you added platformwebservices extension into your localextensions.xml file ? Please ensure that you have below line in your localextensions.xml file
<extension name="platformwebservices" />
For more details check this.
ws410 is a default webroot path which is defined in platformwebservices/extensioninfo.xml file.
<webmodule jspcompile="false" webroot="/ws410"/>
Do you add the port 9001 par default on your URL. Try this http://xxx.xxx.com:9001/ws410/rest/countries

I have searched for this question, but none of the responses help me.
Following the tutorial, I have created a new bucket (www.stepwiserefinement.co.uk) and it contains a static site, including index.html and error.html.
I have used the Console to set these as defaults for the base url and unknown files.
When I access the http://www.stepwiserefinement.co.uk URL, I get an XML listing of the files; I should be seeing index.html.
gustily correctly reports
{"mainPageSuffix": "/index.html", "notFoundPage": "/error.html"}
but if I access the domain with no path, the response is
<Error>
<Code>AccessDenied</Code>
<Message>Access denied.</Message>
<Details>
Anonymous caller does not have storage.objects.list access to the Google Cloud Storage bucket.
</Details>
</Error>
No https, no load balancer needed.
Missing something.
Suggestions please.
There's multiple issues here.
Your site still loads in HTTPS when you put it in the browser. The connection is somehow upgrading you to SSL. And if you're in SSL, you need the load balancer. As opposed to these instructions without load balancer. Maybe you have SSL turned on with your registrar or somewhere else.
I only get 404 error. Not sure how you got "Access denied". But it could also be a secondary issue because when enabled properly, no access control is present. For example, it says here under step 3 "selected Uniform for Access Control". This removes access control.
Let us know if you followed the last article completely
Edit: Also, out of curiosity, try making the bucket public (without Uniform), if it doesn't work above.
I have a question. I have a REST module in my ATG in j2ee-apps I have ear atg rest file.
But when I'm trying to get session confirmation number I have this error
What's the problem? What did I do wrong and how it can be fixed?
Can you open dyn/admin and check ActorChainRestRegistry component for registered URL. You might have to add the url.
Can you post error logs.
Try to troubleshooting QuickBook's Web Connector by following helping URL: Click Me. When I try to Add an application into Web connector getting following error: "QBWC1048: QuickBooks Web Connector could not verify the web application server certificate. QBWC1051: The new application was not added"
QuickBook throws the 1048 error because it is unable to complete a GET request at the AppURL that specified QBFS.qwc file. This is because test.developer.intuit.com restricts GET requests via the SOAP API.
To get around this, include a parameter in the .qwc file, and set it to the same value as your AppURL without the URL path.
For example, if your AppURL is https://mycompany.cs1.force.com/services/Soap/class/myApiClass, then set CertURL to https://mycompany.cs1.force.com.
This is the solution suggested by the QBWC log file, and it worked for me.
Reference URL
I found I had this problem because my software was trying to load the file
http://developer.intuit.com/uploadedFiles/Support/QBWebConnectorSvc.wsdl
which no longer exists. :(
So I got a WSDL from
https://test.developer.intuit.com/QBWC/TroubleshootWebServiceFS/Service.asmx?wsdl
and put it in my Site's root directory, then changed my code to point there, and it worked.
I'm trying to get the latest version of an artifact.
going to http://archiva:8080/restServices shows me the Available RESTful services: clicking on http://archiva:8080/restServices/archivaServices?_wadl leads to an empty(all white) page fore me. Opening the Development tools in my browser I get this output in the javascript-console
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
and
GET http://archiva:8080/restServices/archivaServices?_wadl 404 (Not Found)
I also read here that there should be a application.wadl but for me there isn't!
I use the latest(2.2.1) Standalone version from here
the request for a certain artifact looks like that
http://archiva:8080/restServices/archivaServices/searchService/artifact?g=eu.test&a=test&v=LATEST
Maybe you miss the contextPath in the url. For example, if you want to access the ping service. The url could be:
http://localhost:8080/archiva/restServices/archivaServices/pingService/ping.
Please notice that maybe you will get 403 due to by default archiva does not allow csrf access.
The configruation detail is: http://archiva.apache.org/docs/2.2.3/adminguide/customising-security.html
Our problem with ColdFusion 10 is that there is the /rest/ URL binded. In our application we have a rest service ourselves. Since ColdFusion 10 it will not work because the URL is already defined and our requests won't get through. Is there any way to disable /rest/ completely? Or do we have to rename our service?
I also tried to edit the axis2.xml file
<parameter name="disableREST" locked="true">true</parameter>
<parameter name="restPath">restdisabled</parameter>
But that won't effect anything on the server.
Thanks in advance!
Disclaimer: I have not tried this and do not have a ColdFusion 10 installation nearby to verify
There is a servlet mapping defined in the web.xml file that defines how to handle /rest/ requests for ColdFusion. So you should be able to rename that URI to something else for your implementation. The web.xml file is located under the wwwroot\WEB-INF directory on your ColdFusion server.
I found some reference to this here - Getting started with RESTful web services in ColdFusion (under the Accessing a REST Service through HTTP section)
That documentation also mentioned updating the uriworkermap.properties file. Here is an excerpt from that page:
rest in the URL specifies that the request is for a REST service. ColdFusion has a servlet mapping for the same and would direct the request to the servlet that handles REST service. If there is a directory in the server webroot with the same name, you must update the servlet mapping in web.xml file inside wwwroot\WEB-INF directory. Also, you must update the same mapping in the uriworkermap.properties file located under the config\wsconfig\1 of the server directory.
You will need to restart the ColdFusion service after making any changes to these files.
While this will not disable the functionality in ColdFusion it will allow your services to respond under the /rest/ URI because ColdFusion will be listening under a different one that you define.
