Moodle setting course of cloze questions - moodle

I am learning how to use Moodle. I have created 3 cloze questions in the question bank and added them to a course.
I then created a student account which successfully enrols on my course of 3 cloze questions successfully.
My problem concerns accessing the course. In both the admin and student modes, my course is listed under courses in the left-sidebar. When I click on my course name instead of seeing my questions, I get the following message:
News forum
General news and announcements
(No news has been posted yet)
I want to create questions, add them to a course and have those questions display ready to be answered by enrolled users who click on the course name.

In moodle you need to add the questions to a quiz of particular course. So after created the questions, you need to create the quiz and add those created questions on quiz.
So the enrolled users will access that quiz when he/she would clicked on particular quiz of particular course.

This is not a programming-related question.
I am a project manager for a real estate management system that is being written in PHP/Laravel. We are trying to incorporate social aspects for our contact's profiles.
For example, if you know his twitter or instagram accounts, you could easily submit them while creating his account and on his profile page you could easily see what this contact has been up to on twitter or instagram. Sort of like keeping up to date with your client's social lives through social media.
Please understand that this is all done with consent. We wouldn't have his/her twitter account unless he/she had given it up in the first place.
The problem is with Facebook, and since most of our social engagement is through facebook this is starting to become a real issue.
As we know, you cannot grab a user's status unless you are friends with them. So if we added the facebook field in our RMS the same way we did with twitter and instagram, it wouldn't work because we're not friends with that client.
So I thought how about we create a personal account under our company's name, then we send a friend request to the contact. Once he approves, we can go back and edit his account on our RMS to include his facebook username... And I think now we will be able to see his latest facebook statuses.
I think that would work, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Also if there's another way to do it, please enlighten me.
It's not true that you need to be friends with the specific user. The user needs to give an app of yours permission to access his data. Therefore, Facebook implements the OAuth protocol.

Can you create apps and custom tabs on a business page? [duplicate]

Creating and managing a Facebook app from a Business Account [closed]

I've read on several forums and various other videos that you cannot create custom tabs or apps on a simple business page. Several people have asked this question on here, saying that they are redirected back to their page instead of to the developer platform, but they haven't been answered!! Is this correct, that you simply cant do it? If so, what is the answer for businesses who have pages that they want to utilize? Do you have to create an actual user account for your company? Can you link it to your existing page? I've been asking this question all week and no one will respond.
This is probably what you are looking for, if I understand your question :
http://developers.facebook.com/docs/appsonfacebook/pagetabs/
Don't ever create a user account for a company, pages are good and practical.
EDIT : You need be someone to create a facebook app, with a user account that will become the app's admin. Then you can add the app to any page you administrate.

From a previous FB SO question, I worked out that the Create New App button is probably missing because I created the fan page without a proper FB account and I think they want something more concrete to verify me or something. So I created a proper FB account, as me, and now I'm stuck.
I can't join the developer community. The first time I clicked to join, it said "Cancel Request" for a few hours before reverting to Join, so I clicked it again and its been pending ever since - there's no email confirmation, it's all a bit mysterious.
I need to join because I don't think this (SO) is the right place to ask questions about the problems I'm having just setting up a new app, or linking my new account to the fan page.
I'm stuck - my company is blocked to add new features.
You do need to register, then log in to FB, and accept their permissions to become a developer. I created a very nice step by step guide that takes you through everything, including registering with FB, setting up a Java WebService, Persistence, and registering for FREE web hosting, resulting in a completed demo App with some sample FB calls. Goes from absolute 0 to fully functioning FB app with this 3 part blog series (part 1 starts here):
http://ocpsoft.org/opensource/creating-a-facebook-app-setup-and-tool-installation/
I'm going to supply an official answer. I needed to create a proper Facebook account as me, with friends, and then set this account as an administrator of the Facebook page. Then wait for their servers to propagate changes.
Bottom line: if you created your page using a page account (i.e. an account representing your brand and not a person), you can't make apps, and Facebook doesn't give error messages, it just hides options or redirects you round in circles.

We have a Facebook App which is launching tomorrow at 9am. The App Profile Page is here: http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=305816312768314
There's a banner on it which says these pages are deprecated, and I should migrate. I would love to. However, there's no link that I can find which will allow us to migrate, either on that page or in the App's settings.
We have a page which meets the requirements (same name, and is a Product/App category) here: http://www.facebook.com/CameraAwesome
When our App publishes to FB (it's a Camera app), and the resulting photo says "via Camera Awesome" the 'Camera Awesome' link that FB is generating still links to the deprecated App Profile Page: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150842254209778&set=a.10150842250419778.510347.525564777&type=1&theater
Already read and tried:

http://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/611/

Would love to know how we can properly get this fixed so that FB is linking to the App Page rather than the deprecated App Profile Page.
Any ideas?
Your official Facebook Page may not be getting all the fans it deserves because users are accidentally Liking unofficial duplicate versions of your Page you’ve created. These missing fans cost you news feed impressions and clicks and ad targeting opportunities, or require you to waste time managing multiple duplicate Pages. Fortunately, Facebook now offers the “Merge duplicate pages” tool to allow you to roll fans from duplicate versions of Pages into your official Page.
Instructions for Merging Duplicate Pages
Go to your Page and click “Edit Page”, then click the “Resources” tab, and then select “Merge duplicate pages”. You’ll then see a list of any duplicate Pages that are eligible to be rolled into your Page. [Update: We've determined that currently, duplicate Pages must be under your control to be eligible for a merge. Those looking to gain control of community Pages or unofficial fan-controlled Pages that represent the same thing as their official Page should use the "Is this your business?" link or "Report: duplicate" link beneath the duplicate Page's profile picture.]
To qualify, you must be an admin of the duplicate Page, and it must have an identical name to the official Page. If you don’t see any eligible Pages, check back in a few weeks as Facebook may expand eligibility to similar but not identical Pages.
Reporting Non-Identical Duplicate Pages
The merge tool only works for Pages you control with exactly the same name as the official Page. Therefore, you may not find the duplicates you were hoping to merge with in the tool. Admins have two sensible options in this situation:
Report the Pages as Duplicates
Wait and hope that Facebook will allow non-identical duplicate Pages or those not under your control to be merged in the future.
Note: This merge pages tool is currently working erratically. It may or may not show up for you when it should even if the pages are both biz pages and in the same category and have an exact name match. Unfortunately this is a FB problem and I encourage you to contact them about the bug in their merge pages tool. If it is present for you it works well, if it’s not present you may be out of luck

Can Facebook app make a "question post" and then use the data from the answers to make analysis?

Facebook has question posts where you ask a question and provide a few options for people to select per their suitability. I want to know if a facebook app can create question posts and then use data from the answers to make analysis. Lets say there is an app and user ABC interacts with it, the app helps user ABC spit out a question to user ABC's social circle; then the app displays graphs of how people answered that question. Is this possible?
As of today, Facebook Questions isn't available through their API or exposed via their FQL tables. You should be able to get this information once they expose it to either of these two. If you can't wait, you could write your own app that takes the Facebook friends to a link to answer the question but it won't work as smoothly as their native Facebook questions. You can suggest that they add this ability here.
They just added the ability to post questions (read has been available for a while)
