unoconv fails to save in my specified directory - libreoffice

I am using unoconv to convert an ods spreadsheet to a csv file.
Here is the command:
unoconv -vvv --doctype=spreadsheet --format=csv --output= ~/Dropbox
/mariners_site/textFiles/expenses.csv ~/Dropbox/Aldeburgh/expenses
/expenses.ods
It saves the output file in the same directory as the source file, not in the specified directory. The error message is:
Output file: /home/richard/Dropbox/mariners_site/textFiles/expenses.csv
unoconv: UnoException during export phase:
Unable to store document to file:///home/richard/Dropbox/mariners_site
/textFiles/expenses.csv (ErrCode 19468)
I'm sure that this worked initially, but it has since stopped.
I have checked for permissions and they are identical for both directories.

I translated ErrCode 19468 for you and it boils down to meaning ERRCODE_SFX_DOCUMENTREADONLY.
You can find more information about the specific meaning of LibreOffice ErrCode numbers from the unoconv documentation at: https://github.com/dagwieers/unoconv/blob/master/doc/errcode.adoc
The clue here is that you have a whitespace-character between --output= and the filename (--output= ~/Dropbox
/mariners_site/textFiles/expenses.csv) and because of that unoconv gets an empty output value (which means the current directory) and is given 2 files. And that explains why you get this specific error IMO

Error: `path` does not exist: ‘MIS_655_RS_T3_Wholesale_Customers’

I imported my excel file into R Environment and saved the path by creating a new file in R scrip. However, when I tried to check my directory and load the dataset, I received the following message " Error: path does not exist: ‘MIS_655_RS_T3_Wholesale_Customers’
What am I doing wrong here?
Thanks
Have you missed the format of your dataset, eg. csv, xlsx.
I suggest you first set your file as working directory, then the following code might help you with it.
Dat_customers <- readxl::read_excel("MIS_655_RS_T3_Wholesale_Customers.xlsx")

Error when trying to use custom tessdata file

I have generated a box file from a png image then I followed this tutorial:
https://pretius.com/how-to-prepare-training-files-for-tesseract-ocr-and-improve-characters-recognition/ to generate custom traineddata file.
I encountered an error when I tried to use the generated traineddata alongside with Pytesseract.
and i got this kind of error:
raise TesseractError(proc.returncode, get_errors(error_string))
pytesseract.pytesseract.TesseractError: (-4, "read_params_file:
Can't open txt read_params_file: Can't open txt read_params_file: Can't open txt read_params_file: Can't open txt Error: LSTM requested, but not present!! Loading tesseract. mgr->GetComponent(TESSDATA_NORMPROTO, &fp)
:Error:Assert failed:in file adaptmatch.cpp, line 552")
I'm using Tesseract version 5.0
This is my config options
traineddata = f'+eng+lav+lav2'
config = f'-l {traineddata} --oem 1 --psm 3 {tessdata_dir}'
I followed the same tutorial and encountered the exact same error. At my first tries the ***.traineddata didn't generated well, and I findout that one file was missing (normproto). So I just cleaned all the generated files (except the corrected .box files) and rerun the train process, and everything worked fine on the second attempt.

For some reason, a warning is issued when calling the procedure SYSPROC.ADMIN_CMD ('EXPORT to ...')

I have the following problem:
I am using the following command:
EXPORT TO "D:\ExportFiles\ACTIVATE_DICT.csv" OF DEL MODIFIED BY TIMESTAMPFORMAT="YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS" STRIPLZEROS MESSAGES "D:\ExportFiles\FMessage.txt" SELECT * FROM DB2INST4.ACTIVATE_DICT;
In the Command Editor of the program, the Control Center successfully exported data from the ACTIVATE_DICT table to a CSV file ACTIVATE_DICT.csv.
But for a number of reasons, I need you to execute this command in the IBM Data Studio or DataGrip program, and there it cannot be executed in this form.
Therefore, I read the following manual enter link description here
and based on it wrote the following command:
CALL SYSPROC.ADMIN_CMD('EXPORT to /lotus/ExportFiles/ACTIVATE_DICT.csv OF DEL MODIFIED BY TIMESTAMPFORMAT="YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS" STRIPLZEROS MESSAGES /lotus/ExportFiles/FMessage.txt SELECT * FROM DB2INST4.ACTIVATE_DICT');
Here is the message on the result of the command:
[2018-10-11 15:15:23] [ ][3107] There is at least one warning
message in the message file.. SQLCODE=3107, SQLSTATE= ,
DRIVER=4.23.42 [2018-10-11 15:15:23] 1 row retrieved starting from 1
in 75 ms (execution: 29 ms, fetching: 46 ms)
And in the / lotus / ExportFiles / directory there is no ACTIVATE_DICT.csv file and there is no FMessage.txt file in the / lotus / ExportFiles / directory.
Question: How then to correctly execute this command ??? Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
sqlcode 3107 is a warning message:
SQL3107W At least one warning message was encountered during LOAD processing.
Explanation
You can load data into a database from a file, tape, or named pipe using the LOAD command. You can specify that any warnings or errors from the LOAD processing be printed to a message file. If no message file is specified, the warnings or errors are printed to standard out (unless the database manager instance is configured as a partitioned-database environment.)
It is to tell you to read message log in the message file you specified. In your case: /lotus/ExportFiles/FMessage.txt
Please read into the file to see what error is logged and if you need help understand what is logged, please post the content of the file.
This message is returned when at least one warning was received during processing. If a message file is being used, the warnings and errors will be printed there.
This warning does not affect processing.
User response
Review the message file warning.
EXPORT command using the ADMIN_CMD procedure
See use of the 'MESSAGES ON SERVER' clause, and how to get these messages using the result set returned by this routine in this case.

Packaging MongoDB with packager.py

Trying to package my custom built MongoDB 2.6.6 (with SSL), I'm using the packager.py script from buildscript/ in the sources I got from www.mongodb.org.
I've changed it in a few places, based on this and on errors I've had because of file locations.
I've come along way, but now the error I'm getting is from within rpmbuild:
error: File not found: /tmp/tmp7vZvNP/rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/mongodb-org-2.6.6-1.%{_arch}/usr/bin/mongod
Put aside the fact I searched and couldn't find where the %{_arch} thing came from, the mongod binary file exists in /tmp/tmp7vZvNP/rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/mongodb-org-2.6.6-1.%\{_arch\}/usr/bin/mongodb-linux-x86_64-2.6.6/bin/
Where is {_bindir} defined for the spec file?
Any other idea what's the next thing I should be pursuing?
So after reading #Etan Reisner's comment, I did the following:
Changed write_rpm_macros_file to look like this:
def write_rpm_macros_file(path, topdir, arch):
f=open(path, 'w')
try:
f.write("%%_topdir %s\n" % topdir)
f.write("%%_arch %s\n" % arch)
f.write("%%_bindir %s" % "/usr/bin/mongodb-linux-x86_64-2.6.6/bin/")
finally:
f.close()
And now I have an RPM built correctly.
Edit:
I changed the binaries tar.gz file and now the %_bindir macro is not needed...

perl pdftk functionality not working , getting error

I was testing the functionality of PDF::Tk by installing in cpan module and installed the pdftk binary file and the path to variable and tried running source code.
source code:
use PDF::Tk;
my $doc = PDF::Tk->new( pdftk => '/apps/free/pdftk/' );
$doc->call_pdftk( 'input.pdf', 'outPDF.pdf', 'cat', '1-14' );
getting error as below:
pdftk input.pdf cat 1-14 releasenote.pdf failed: -1 at
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.10.0/PDF/Tk.pm line 73.
please guide me in resolving it.
Seems you are passing the wrong argument to the constructor of PDF::Tk. Have a look here.
You're supposed to pass a hash, with the key pdftk, and this should be the path of the executable, not a directory. As you can see here, this will be executed via system, so of course, executing a directory does not work.
To clarify, you should be using:
my $doc=PDF::Tk->new(pdftk => '/path/to/pdftk/executable');
If your pdftk executable is /usr/bin/pdftk, then you do not have to pass it at all as this is the default.
for testing the encryption function (by default 128 bit encryption) , i created a pdf file 'apps.pdf' with password protected 'abcd' as password.
source code 1:
use PDF::Tk;
my $doc=PDF::Tk->new(pdftk=>'/apps/free/pdftk/1.44/bin/pdftk');
$doc->call_pdftk('apps.pdf', '1.128.pdf', 'owner_pw', 'abcd');
getting error:
Error: Unexpected command-line data:

where we were expecting an input PDF filename,
operation (e.g. "cat") or "input_pw". Exiting.
Errors encountered. No output created.
Done. Input errors, so no output created.
pdftk apps.pdf owner_pw abcd 1.128.pdf failed: 256 at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.10.0/PDF/Tk.pm line 73.
note: created a new pdf 'apps.pdf' with Document Open Password as 'abcd' and permission Password as 'abcd123'.
Please let me know how to resolve it.
