I am trying to know the differnce between report server project wizard and report server project. i tried google, but was not happie with the answers.
can some one please help me with this?
Report Server Project:
A Report Server Project is a Business Intelligence Projects template installed by Visual Studio that is available from the New Project dialog box. Report Server project properties apply to all reports and all shared data sources in a project. These properties include the URL for the report server and the folder names for reports and shared data sources.
Report Server Project Wizard:
Report Server Wizard Project automatically creates a report server project using Report Wizard. In the wizard, you can create a report by following instructions on each page to create a connection string to a data source, set data source credentials, design a query, add a table or matrix data region, specify report data and groups, pick a font and color style, publish the report to a report server, and preview the report locally.

I am trying to set up a dynamic web project in Eclipse 2018-12. Within the Java EE perspective, the lower panel is hosting several commonly used views (markers, console, snippets, search ), among which the Servers view offers the possibility to bind the current project to an already existing server.
If no such server is defined, this view is showing a quick link to "add new server. When one is about to define a new server, a creation wizard takes off, and the first window you get is the profile select window. I would like to set up a Tomcat server, but my initial list does not include Apache Tomcat at all.
Question: how am I supposed top populate the initial list with a desired web server profile template ?
I have searched for Eclipse download links and the first link (and the only one shown there) on the Eclipse Foundation page was Eclipse 2018-12. It seemed pretty good at the time. Now the same page shows Eclipse 2019-06 (64-bits).

I am a beginner on Model Driven Health Tools (MDHT) in Eclipse. I want to create new CDA model but it gives this message: "Unable to create CDA project, No Available CDA Documents in Workspace"

I wanted to know how to view the database when using Entity Framework 6 with Web API 2.
Most tutorials I see show the ability to open the "Server Explorer" or "SQL Object Explorer" window to view "Data Connections", which will show a connection to the database created when deploying the current project that is using Entity Framework. However, when I view these windows and refresh, there is nothing showing under "Data Connections"
I have hit a problem on a current project when trying to use EF6 with relationships in the models and It would help me to debug if I could see what EF has created. Perhaps the tables, sql, or visual class diagrams would be great, but I can't find any of those in the solution.
I can recreate the issue using Visual Studio 2013 with the following steps:
File > New > Project > Visual C# > Web > ASP.NET Web Application
Select WebAPI project template > Click OK
Right click Model folder in solution > Add > Class > Create "Question.cs"
Add add few properties to the model.
Right click Controllers folder in solution > Add > Controller > Web API 2 Controller with Entity Framework
Select Model we created in step 4-5, Create new context "TestContext"
Build project
Now, i'm expecting that the scaffolding done by the steps above creates the TestContext which extends DbContext which defaults to creating a LocalDb instance on my machine. It's my understanding that LocalDb is included with VS 2013 and I have Window 8.1 which should have IIS on it. I'm expecting to be able to see the database created when I build the project.
Is there some settings I need to change to view the database in VS2013 or does the Data Connection only show up if I have SQL server installed?
The only other difference I can see, is that most of the tutorials I reference are using MVC projects and since mine is WebAPI with EF added, perhaps there are some default settings / web.config settings that need to be enabled for me to see the database.
Speaking of web.config I do not see an explicit connection string in the web.config from the TestContext, which I was expecting.

By default, Entity Framework will use a localdb database.
The actual database file will be created under the AppData folder of the solution.
Initially, the file won't be visible in the Visual Studio solution explorer, as the file is not included in the project.
Clicking the Show All Files button of the Solution Explorer toolbar to view the file.
I'am having problem with team foundation server.(http://tfs.visualstudio.com/). I created project from there(http://tfs.visualstudio.com/). And I click Open New Instance of Visual Studio.
And Team Explorer is look like:
Then i click File>New Project and clicked Add to Source Control and selected My project name in TFS. So i uploaded my project and it added to my tfs project. But i dont know how can i share my project in tfs. I tried this:
Entered my friend live id(hotmail). Then he signed up and he did same steps like me. But how can he download project that already exist? I did not see specific setting for that.
What i must supposed to do?
He must use the menu File > Open > Team Project. Visual Studio will probably ask for a TFS server, when you set the server URL, he will be able to see the collections and projects, then, he can open the project.
Or, on the window you showed (Team Explorer), he can click on Source Control Explorer and open the solution from there.
Visual Studio will ask for a mapping directory.
If you are trying to connect to Team Foundation Service via VS 2008 following steps have to be done,
Install VS 2008 SP1, Team Explorer 2008 and GDR update (VS90SP1-KB2673642-x86)
Connect manually to Team Foundation Service
Team Explorer -> Servers -> Add -> type

Hi I created a simple report using iReport 4.5.1 and when I tried to deploy the report in JasperSoft (Ver 4.5) I am getting the following error message even thought I am selecting the correct JRXML file
The selected JRXML could not be parsed. You might have selected the wrong file.
What could be the issue.
I am using iReport designer to design my reports.

I have created a Data Source in JaseperSoft - test connection successfull
I am getting the error message only when I click the browse button to upload the JRXML file when i tried to upload a report file...

Solution:
By default JasperSoft® Studio tries to save and upload the JRXML's in the latest possile JRXML version which may not be compatible with the parser on the server side. You can configure the version used by the studio. Go to Window > Preferences > Jaspersoft Studio > Compatibility and in the Source .jrxml version set the version to 6.2.1. Then open your reports, do a minor change and re-save it. This should re-generate the JRXML that is compatible with previous JasperReports version. You can also set the same compatibility setting on project level by right clicking on the project folder in the Project Explorer > Properties > Jaspersoft Studio > Compatibility
