I have been busy with the PiTFT and added the following wiki on github: https://github.com/Junky2008/Buildroot_PiTFT.
I still have a problem though. As in the wiki, the screen, touch and X.org server work. I have calibrated the touchscreen and i can move the mousepointer in X. What doesn't work is a "click" I can only move the mouse but not click any items.
Is there a driver I should install to make it work?
OK, I fixed it! apparently I was using an old version of the STMPE kernel module, I will set everything in my wiki!

I will mark this answer as "the answer" when I updated my wiki

I have been watching tutorials on youtube (i'm new to unity), I was trying to add a rigid body to my player, which I've never done. In the video they clicked add component in the inspector then physics then rigid body. but i don't see physics and when I search for it nothing appears. the only options i get are:
Effects
Layout
Mesh
Miscellaneous
Rendering
New Script
Underneath Box Collider i get a warning saying the the "module that implements this component type has been force excluded in player settings" could this be the problem? If so how would i fix it?
Thanks.
Try go to the PackageManager, switch to Built-In Packages and see if the package Physics is installed. Sounds like it has been actively be removed (uninstalled) or you somehow broke the Packages/manifest.json file.
If you can't even get the PackageManager try to reset the packages as described here via the top menu bar → Help → Reset Packages to defaults
or just directly replace your Packages/manifest.json with a one from a fresh empty project
Also note
Our first TECH stream release of the year is available as of today. Unity 2020.1 includes a wide range of features and improvements that make Unity workflows even more intuitive and make you more productive, while Unity 2019 LTS remains the recommended version for projects in production.
The PackageManager got an overhaul and a lot of users had issues like yours. See e.g. this thrread.
You should stick to the LTS versions, currently 2019.4 LTS (except for experimenting with the very newest features).
So if you type in the search bar of Add Component "Rigid" nothing pops up? If not I believe it should.
The problem could be in your libraries. Try deleting the library in your project (with Unity closed). Maybe if you have not made much progress in this project you could try opening a new unity project and seeing if it works.
Description -
I have a settings panel in my scene which appears if I click the settings button on my toolbar. By repeating this, I noticed one bug → The dot of all toggled toggles moves further and further. The dot of an untoggled toggle stays in the right position. Did someone fix that bug in the script interactable or did a workaround?
Screenshot
How to reproduce -
I used the toggles that were given by the example package. Place one that is already toggled and one not toggled and start play mode. Activate and deactivate the script Interactable on your toggle and you should see this behavior

-- Edit --
Confirmed that this issue has been fixed in Mrtk v2.1.
Thanks for the report! I will ask one of our UX developers to investigate.
This will be tracked on our GitHub site as issue #6241.
This seems to be a problem with the library.
Since it only happens when you enable and disable the script, it possibly gets the X position on start() and then uses that to change the position of the circle.
This should be fixed in the latest MRTK verison (2.1)

The Unity documentation clearly shows Tile Palette available under Window > 2D.
But I don't have the option available:
Where can I access the Tile Palette menu?
I'm on OSX 10.13.6 and Unity version 2019.2.1f1
#AJP I was just having a similar issue using 2019.2 Personal.
I found that I needed to add the tile map package to the project, then "Tile Palette" appeared as an option under "Window".
To do this:
Go to Window > Package Manager.
Click 2d Tilemap Editor on the left of the pop up.
Then click install in the lower right hand corner (Install will be replaced with "Remove" once installed).
2dTileMapPackage
Update 2020/08/03
The issue is fixed in Unity 2019.3 and beyond, where the tile palette option shows up as expected on iOS, making it likely the issue was caused by a bug in 2019.2
As per AJP's own findings: Tile Palette is not available on Mac OSX. But if it was this would be a work around for any menu not showing up in the toolbar.
(I could only test this on windows, but I assume this works on a mac aswel, under the same locations.)
Under Edit there is the option "shortcuts". Go into this window and search for "Tile pallete". Click the Tile palette command and set your custom shortcut. You should now be able to open it without it showing up under the Window > 2D tab.
If it doesn't show up there either then my only guess would be that it isn't installed in your current Unity version (which appears to be the case on mac OSX)
If you're like me and no solution is working please READ THIS!
The problem is with Unity Hub and not Unity as a whole. I discovered this late late last night when I was reinstalling for the 5th time.
On my 5th install and reboot, I opened "Unity" instead of "Unity Hub" and sure enough there it was. I closed "Unity" and opened "Unity Hub" and sure enough when I booted into "Unity" it was gone. There is something wrong with the back end loading it would seem when loading from Unity Hub.
For a problem that seems to have plagued people for years. I'm shocked Unity developers haven't come across this solution and patched it.
You will have to install the according package like RobC and Jere already mentioned..
It's the same if you miss Sprite Editor.
You just have to install the according package which in your case is 2D Tilemap Editor
Window > Package Manager search for the according package,
in this case 2D Tilemap Editor.
If you miss the Sprite Editor the package to install is:
-"2D Sprite", I guess
Gitkraken white screen, every few seconds will return to the original, then will continue to white screen and VScode expansion host unexpectedly terminated:
I had the same problem, I could open a fresh new repository but my usual one crashed gitkraken in the exact same fashion.
I solved it by guessing it was the display rendering of all the branches that messed up and by chance found the cause :
In Preference->UI Preference, uncheck the "Show toolbar icon label" and try again.
Ok, I had the same issue. I am running WIN 10 and a NVidia graphic card. I am not sure the problem, but it has to do with the graphics card. I had to go into the NVidia control panel for 3D and told it to use the integrated video card for GitKraken. This was also causing my Visual Studio Code not to run and that fixed it also (there is a --disable-gpu for VC).
Hey I just updated Sourcetree on my mac to the latest version (2.2).
Where did git-flow go?
And how do I re-enable this functionality?
I just lost myself without it!
I have the same problem here, you can still use Git-Flow
From the menu: "Repository-> Git flow /HG flow -> Next action"
Using the hotkey: "⌥+⌘+F.
But still not able to get the button back... :/
On the download page the button is also gone:
https://www.sourcetreeapp.com/
Alternative you can download the previous version here:
http://downloads.atlassian.com/software/sourcetree/SourceTree_2.1.dmg
https://downloads.atlassian.com/software/sourcetree/windows/SourceTreeSetup_1.7.0.32509.exe
UPDATE:
The have a new version of SourceTree Mac v2.2.2(51) / Win: v1.8.2 and when you have this version you can customize you toolbar by clicking on the toolbar with your right mouse button. Then you can enable the git flow button.
Downloads:
Mac v2.2.2:
https://downloads.atlassian.com/software/sourcetree/SourceTree_2.2.2.dmg
Windows v1.8.2:
https://downloads.atlassian.com/software/sourcetree/windows/SourceTreeSetup_1.8.2.exe
Here is what you can do if you have SourceTree v2.2.3. (I'm sorry but I don't have enough reputation points to attach the image)
Edit: Now I can upload the GIF, thanks!
Enabling Git-Flow button SourceTree - GIF
The corresponding Windows version is 1.8.1.0.
The hotkey is Alt+Shift+F
UPDATE: It appears that Atlassian has pulled release 1.8.1.0. When you download now, you get version 1.7.0.
Jens Schumacher has just wrote that the git-flow button will be back in the next bugfix release. As for now, as others suggested, either roll back to a previous version, or use a hotkey (Alt+Shift+F for Windows, ⌘+⌥+F for OS X).
Git-Flow button is back as of update 1.8.2.0. So this issue should be resolved: just update SourceTree and it will be back.
As many people say here, you can use the hotkey
for OSX ⌘+⌥+F
for Windows Alt+Shift+F
But, also you can configure the toolbar to show the gitflow icon again. You just have to do a right click on the toolbar, select "customize toolbar..." and drag the icon back to the place it use to be. As simple as that.
I hope it helps.
