I have same problem as of How to add standard field to custom layout of SugarCRM 7
I have created a custom view(followed these steps http://www.insightful.com.au/sugarcrm-how-do-i/creating-custom-button-sugar-7) in SugarCRM7 but not getting how should I add standard fields to this layout
I am new to SugarCRM7 and seeking for help :(
You can use metadata to provide the list of fields and then use the {{field}} Handlebars helper in your template to insert them into your HTML.
To see examples of how to use field helper see dashablelist.hbs or preview.hbs in Sugar 7.5.

Hello every body i am new with both laravel and backpack , so i read the documentation backpack documentation , so i want to create a line action(action that apears in every entry) that change an attribut which is by the way a 1-n relation (assign action that assign an entity to a user). can somme one helps me, or just give me the best path to follow .
public function assign()
{
return view("welcome");
}
In Backpack v4 you should probably take a look at creating custom operations.
This example should be helpful to you. It shows how to create an Operation that includes a button on the line stack, and separate page for that operation.
Hope it helps.
In TYPO3 (7.2.0) using the standard template engine, is there a way to add a placeholder attribute to the standard mail form text input?
At the moment I am using JavaScript to convert the labels into placeholders, but I am open to suggestions on a better way to do this...
The suggested solution of #biesior does only work for EXT:form 7.4 and higher (see changelog). The supplied picture shows the form wizard of TYPO3 7.5 or 7.6. In 7.2 you won't find any placeholder attribute in the wizard.
I recommend updating to TYPO3 7.6 since this version includes a major rewrite of EXT:form. You will be able to use fluid templates to customize your forms. Furthermore HTML5 attributes are possible. Before the rewrite the set of allowed attributes was quite limited. Now you are able to add all attributes you can think of (for example "data-"). See changelog.
If you have any questions regarding EXT:form join the channel on Slack. If you don't know Slack yet, check out the invite function.
During form fields editing you have many properties, also Placeholder
in text version it will be:
10 = TEXTLINE
10 {
type = text
class = foo-class
id = foo-id
name = foo
placeholder = Hmmm?
required = required
label {
value = My Field
}
}
I'm using sfDoctrineAllowPlugin. I need form which has Twitter's Bootstrap semantics. I looked into template and I found, that there is only $form, which is a <table>. How can I format it in my way? I don't want to use table, rows and cols.
There are plenty of render* functions available to display each item in your form.
renderRow
renderLabel
render
renderError
etc ...
But you can also define a decorator (a custom sfWidgetFormSchemaFormatter) for your form to define the way each item will be display. Check this example of adding * for each required field.
I have to create a table in my wizard page and I want to create it using TableViewer. I'm using WindowBuilderPro for designing my wizard page. The TableViewer control is available in the palette of WindowBuilderPro but I'm not getting how to use it properly.
Has any body used the same?
Thanks a lot in advance!!
You have two ways of filling the TableViewer with contents (similar to TableViewers in JFace):
You can define a content provider and a label provider manually. A content provider has to return a set of Objects, that represent each line of the table; while the TableLabelProvider translates the returned objects to texts in the columns. The content and label providers are to set in the Properties box on the left. In this case, the resulting code should look like the following snippets: http://wiki.eclipse.org/JFaceSnippets#Snippet001TableViewer or http://wiki.eclipse.org/JFaceSnippets#Snippet007FullSelection.
On the other hand you could define JFace Data Bindings to fill the table with contents. In this case you have to define a corresponding binding, that returns the list of all contents; additionally you have to create a label provider, that works similar to the previous one.
There is also a way to fill the table content using a newer API then supported directly by WindowBuilder: you could create TableViewerColumns, and ColumnLabelProviders for each column, thus resulting in much nicer code for Label Providers (and also this API is newer, so it should be preferred for new JFace based code) - but in this case you have to create your code manually. See the JFace Table tutorial from Lars Vogel.
Additionally, if you don't know the JFace Viewer framework from before, I suggest reading the first few questions listed in the JFace FAQ to gain a better understanding of the ideas (and the tutorial from Lars Vogel is also nice for this reason).
I am using sx tag i.e. struts-dojo-tag of struts 2 to autosuggest one field on one page. It is working fine. Now I want to populate other fields on the same page based on the selection of autosuggest field. I tried calling javascript on the above field on various events like onselect, onchange,etc with no success.
JSP code :
<sx:autocompleter autoComplete="true" listKey="id" listValue="brandName" name="brand.brandName" id="brandName" cssClass="textfield" list="brandList" onchange="populateInfo(this.value);"></sx:autocompleter>
here I want to autosuggest brandNames available and on selecting the brand, I want to populate data regarding the brand in some others fields. I tried calling java script function populateInfo(), but the function is not getting called.
Can you please help me out?
I think this problem can be solved by using select tag of struts2-jquery.
