Would anyone know how to change the font in an email generated by new ActiveXObject("Outlook.Application")?
This seems to default to Times New Roman regardless of the default settings in the mail client.

The Outlook object model provides three main ways for working item bodies:
Body - a string representing the clear-text body of the Outlook item.
HTMLBody - a string representing the HTML body of the specified item.
Word editor - the Microsoft Word Document Object Model of the message being displayed. The WordEditor property of the Inspector class returns an instance of the Document class from the Word object model which you can use to set up the message body.
You can read more about all these ways in the Chapter 17: Working with Item Bodies. It us up to you which way is to choose to customize the message body. But the last two ways allows to choose a font.

I am using Word interop to build a Word plugin. In this plugin I have a case where I want to examine all
Field objects in the document and when that field is a cross-reference to another place in the same document I need to be able to capture the text in the paragraph that the field is referring to.
I was able to get the name of the field object but there were no bookmarks defined in the Document although in Word I could click on the field to get to the other location.

The bookmarks are not listed because Word has a convention that bookmarks with names starting with an underscore ("_") are "hidden". In the Insert->Links->Bookmark dialog box, you can see them if you check the "Hidden Bookmarks" box, but in the Find and Replace box, you have to enter the name manually.
Even when Bookmarks are hidden, you can reference them. So for example you should be able to do something like this (this is VBA syntax):

to get the text "covered" by the bookmark. In theory, you could use Goto, by using wdGotoBookmark instead of wdGotoField, except that I think it will only have a chance of working with the Selection object, not a Range object.
Depending on what type of cross-reference the user inserts, Word "covers" different parts of the referenced material. So you may need to construct the Range you really need, e.g. using the Bookmark's Range.Start to tell you which paragraph the reference is pointing at.

Typically I use these fields throughout my document so changing the document property will change all instances of that field throughout my document. This is great, however, when one of the fields is "Company Email" I not only want the text to change to employee#company.com but I would like to have that field hyperlinked to employee#company.com so that the user can click it in order to send an email.

I have tried to insert a hyperlink, hit alt-f and embed a docproperty via the instructions from a similar thread: stackoverflow.com/questions/17428891/…. But could not get that to work properly.
The following works for me, in a quick test (you'll need to substitute the name of the Document Property you're using):

When I Ctrl+Click this it creates a new Email to the address.
For readers unfamiliar with inserting field codes: The wavy bracket pairs must be inserted using Ctrl+F9. Alt+F9 after to switch from field code to field display.
I wish to create a VSCode extension with an entry form on it - some way of input. So far I have only seen document processing or output for an extension.
How can you display a form of input fields in a vscode extension?
How much data do they need to enter? If it's not much, you should be able to handle it with a series of InputBoxes

The Visual Studio Code API does not have any native methods to display forms to collect input. You can however, chain together Input Boxes, Quick Picks, etc... You can find all these methods under vscode.window.(...).
If these do not satisfy your needs you can implement a webview which allows you to render integrated HTML in Visual Studio Code and trade messages with the extension.
The most simple aproach would be to simple send all collected data from the form to the extension once you hit the submit button or something similar.

Another approach is to see how far you can go with editing JSON objects in settings.json. I thought I would need a form for 8-10 fields, but it turns out that I can create a settings template that has a series of labels and and entry fields (with type validation).
I'm currently working on a Wicket 6.20 project which already has dozens of pages with TextFields and DropDownChoices. Now the requirement came up to change the default '${label}' is required. message to something more specific, depending on whether a TextField or a DropDownChoice doesn't have a value.
I know I can put Required=My Text in a properties file of the application, but that changes the message for all FormComponents. And specifying the full component path to either the TextFields or the DropDownChoices in the form of myform.mycontainer.mydropdownchoice.Required=My Text isn't feasible, since of course the structure of the Forms can differ on each page.
Ideally I'd like to put something like
org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.DropDownChoice.Required=Please select a value for '${label}'
org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.TextField.Required=Please enter a value in '${label}'
in my application's property file, either with or without FQCN.
Is there a way to achieve this with any of the default IStringResourceLoader that come with Wicket?
It is not necessary to provide the complete path to the components. It could be a path with just few parents:

If this still is not an option then you can override org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.FormComponent#reportRequiredError() for any instance or type (e.g. MyDropDownChoice).
I would like to create a document including a input form.
The printed version of the form should have little boxes for block letter input ("monospace font") like this:
The form will be printed and will be filled out manually using pens (but it would be good if the form could also be easily filled out digitally via pdf form)
Is there any convenient way apart from creating separate input boxes, or tables or other quick fixes which do not make it inconvenient filling the form digitally?
One way could be to use a background image with the required block pattern.
If you only want it printable - create a document and set the image as background.
If you want a computer fillable form for a SEPA banking transaction form - do a search, as there are free PDF forms available.
